Prezentované príklady boli testované na bežných sopkách, ktoré sa nepochybne líšia od obrovského sibírskeho magmatického plumu. Tento chrlič nepredstavuje hrozbu rovnajúcu sa jednému supervulkánu, ale skôr 1 000 Žltým kameňom. Táto diskusia by sa však nekonala, keby neexistovali potenciálne riešenia. S odhodlaním môže ľudstvo vypracovať a realizovať program na odplynenie tohto chumáča, pričom využije odborné znalosti odborníkov z celého sveta.
Minimalizácia dôsledkov zavlečenia sibírskej výduti pre celé ľudstvo
Cieľom takéhoto programu by bolo minimalizovať dopady sibírskeho chrliča na ľudstvo znížením tlaku lávy a plynov v sekundárnych magmatických komorách a zabránením rozsiahlym nekontrolovaným lávovým prúdom. Dosiahnutie tohto cieľa by si vyžadovalo úzku medzinárodnú spoluprácu a spoločné úsilie vedcov a inžinierov na celom svete.
Program by mohol súčasne sledovať niekoľko smerov:
1. Zriadenie monitorovacej siete
1.1. Je potrebné vytvoriť sieť vysokocitlivých senzorov a satelitného monitorovania seizmickej a tepelnej aktivity v regióne. To umožní včasné odhalenie zón sekundárnej intruzie magmatických komôr.
1.2 Bude potrebné vykonať podrobné mapovanie sekundárnych magmatických komôr s využitím metód seizmického prieskumu. Bude nevyhnutné predbežne odhadnúť tlak a objem magmy v každej sekundárnej komore.
1.3 Ďalej bude potrebné vykonať výskumné a monitorovacie vrty a nainštalovať snímače tlaku, teploty a seizmickej aktivity v anomálnych zónach.

With determination, humanity can develop and implement a program for degassing the plume, drawing on the expertise of specialists from around the world.
Minimizing the consequences of the Siberian plume introduction for all mankind
The goal of such a program would be to minimize the impacts of the Siberian Plume on humanity by reducing lava and gas pressure in secondary magmatic chambers and preventing large-scale, uncontrolled lava flows. Achieving this would require close international cooperation and the combined efforts of scientists and engineers globally.
The program could simultaneously pursue several directions:
1. Establishing a Monitoring Network
1.1 It is necessary to establish a network of high-sensitivity sensors and satellite monitoring over seismic and thermal activity in the region. This will allow timely detection of secondary magmatic chamber intrusion zones.
1.2 Conducting detailed mapping of secondary magmatic chambers, using seismic exploration methods will be required. It will be vital to preliminarily estimate the pressure and volume of magma within each secondary chamber.
1.3 Next, it will be necessary to drill research and monitoring holes and install pressure, temperature, and seismic activity sensors in anomalous zones.

For example, the technology, patented by two Russian experts, involves preventing uncontrolled, cascading volcanic eruptions by using angled drilling of wells to regulate pressure within magma chambers.

Another technology was developed by an American inventor. It outlines methods for evacuating magma from volcanic magmatic chambers, such as the chamber of the Yellowstone supervolcano, to prevent potential catastrophic eruptions.

The second phase focused on drilling into the magma conduit from the 1990–1995 eruptions to analyze the degassing mechanism. A specialized drilling strategy was developed to ensure success, incorporating vertical drilling followed by an increase in the hole’s inclination.

Existujú aj patentované metódy plánovaného odplyňovania a znižovania rizík sopečných a supervulkanických erupcií. Napríklad technológia, ktorú si patentovali dvaja ruskí odborníci, zahŕňa prevenciu nekontrolovaných, kaskádovitých sopečných erupcií pomocou šikmého vŕtania vrtov na reguláciu tlaku v magmatických komorách.

Japonský projekt „Unzen Scientific Drilling Project“ (USDP) bol šesťročnou iniciatívou, ktorá sa začala v apríli 1999. Jeho cieľom bolo študovať históriu rastu, podpovrchovú štruktúru a mechanizmus výstupu magmy na sopke Unzen.
Prvá fáza zahŕňala vŕtanie dvoch vrtov do boku sopky a vytvorenie modelu jej štruktúry. Druhá fáza sa zamerala na vŕtanie do magmatického kanála z erupcií v rokoch 1990 - 1995 s cieľom analyzovať mechanizmus odplyňovania. Na zabezpečenie úspechu bola vyvinutá špecializovaná stratégia vŕtania, ktorá zahŕňala vertikálne vŕtanie s následným zvýšením sklonu vrtu.
