I both love, and hate, some decisions that I make.
“The Bold Type” is so ingenuously amazing that I’ve stayed consistent about downloading every episode in 1080p, and backing them on to my external hard drive as soon as the weekly uploaded files were available, but, as for actually watching Season 3, and participating in the fandom since this season started to drop, I’ve reserved for a binge of such as those activities were deemed (by fucking stupid me) to be too time-consuming for my schedule at the time until life let up ..., and I’ve just finally indulged in its greatness. On one hand, I’m filled with the satisfaction that comes with having devoured a feast of entertainment, but, on the other, I lack the experience of the true essence of the show that has always before included me in spilling over on to the fandom. That distinct sense of conjoined empowerment and camaraderie (and my blog has since been vacant of impeccable gorgeousness ... excluding things from “Sense8” and “Pose,” sparse items that can be categorized as ‘fantasizations surrounding Mabel/Maribel’ on “Roswell New Mexico,” and if you don’t count a random photo shoot of Tyler Blackburn ... which you so totally should).
Summation of my thoughts on where things stand post-S3:
Where. Is. Jacqueline?! What’s going to happen to Scarlet?! And what was the point of finally giving Adena a full-time job there?!👀👀👀
I didn’t know how much I needed Oliver being a dad until I already had it.✔️✔️✔️
I am a Kat of sorts. I completely get it, I’d choose my Adena over a what could be with a Tia any day (and I, too, am a better ‘just friend’ to Tias than any thing else), but I also don’t want to be with my Adena right now either.💗✔️
For Sutton, I want what Sutton wants, so no complaints there if her job is still in existence ...✔️🙏🏽
I know that I’m in the minority with this, but I’ve always been Team Jane/Ryan (Do we have to call them Janestripe?), so I’m actually okay with her giving him a “second chance,” and hope that they move past this, but she would have disappointed me if she didn’t give him shit for hijacking the Q&A.✔️🙌🏽
This cannot be the end of Scarlet, because I need men like Alex and Patrick working there, and not some where else.👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Hey uh...can we discuss how Patrick said he didn’t have a boyfriend or girlfriend in high school?? Because if that means what it sounds like, then The Bold Type could do something really cool. If female bisexuality is underrepresented, male bisexuality is nearly nonexistent.
The Bold Type 3x01 "The New Normal" Sneak Peek #3 - Picking up right after the heartbreak, romances and uncertainties from the season two finale in Paris, Jane, Kat and Sutton are back in New York City and dealing with the aftermath of some major decisions. Scarlet Magazine brings in Patrick Duchand to run the digital branch, effectively knocking Jacqueline down to only running the print magazine. Meanwhile, Jane has picked her guy but is frustrated that a man is put in charge of a women’s magazine. Kat struggles to keep up happy appearances on social media and as a speaker at the Scarlet Summit while secretly suffering heartache. Sutton and Richard enjoy their romance in the limelight and discuss moving in together.
The Bold Typemade a name for itself by not being afraid to tackle the serious issues that 20-somethings face in the same episode as a more light-hearted, “first world” issue they find themselves wrapped up in. “Stroke of Genius” brings us back to this formula as Alex realizes he was the subject behind a #MeToo story and does some self-examination as a result while Jane figures out how to spice up…

In this week’s episode of The Bold Type, all three of our leading ladies are forced to confront realities they’d rather not have to deal with. Jane doesn’t want Pinstripe to be involved in her egg freezing process yet gets tasked to co-author an article with him about the whole thing. Sutton is feeling good about finally having moved in with Richard but yet is forced to fill in for Oliver when he…
