Hello, hello, beautiful world! The “day after” I’m back at my desk, and if you think, you saw these tossed lemons before, you’re right! And at the same time you’re not! I made a similar pattern from scanning in my watercolour lemons a while ago, but I didn’t pay attention to the number of colours I ended up with in Illustrator, too many! But then I didn’t know, and I didn’t care, but now I know, that I order to print this, it wouldn’t have worked. . So today I did it again, this time using a limited colour palette of only 8 colours! . It was one of those days where I felt like accomplishing something without having to start totally from scratch. I’m very happy with the result, and somehow pleased that a few weeks in, I was able to tackle the colours more skilfully! . Which colour version is your favourite? Hello, hello! I’m so excited to show you parts of my latest collection “Gaits to the Hearts” after I had some very helpful feedback from @bonniechristine in the mentorship! . Her main points were the colours for the foals I used in the pattern “cute alarm” and the scale! This is one of my hero prints, so it’s important to get it right! What I show you here is my second colour way (Fire of Iceland), the last picture is the first colour way (Ice)! I have spent some time on tweaking the “fire” colours!
