News is circulating right now (official news, not rumors) that a third PAW Patrol movie has been greenlit. There's no word yet on what it'll be about, or more importantly, which pup will be the focus.
Naturally, you all know who I'm rooting for, especially given how the franchise treated him there for a while there. Having Marshall be the star of the third theatrical movie would absolutely make up for all of that... but the fact that the franchise did that to him makes me worry that, once again, they may pass him up for someone else. They may make it about Rocky, or Liberty, or even have it star Rubble and be more of a theatrical Rubble & Crew. It's anyone's best guess right now. I imagine only Brunker knows, and of course, he's not allowed to say.
I suppose now all I can do is cross my fingers and hope for the best. Will Marshall be the focus of the third theatrical movie? I'm not bursting with confidence here, but... of course, only time will tell.

Paw Patrol The Movie Adventure City Calls @letsplayanything

I'm not kidding about me waiting for 6 months so HBO asia can release it for every PAW Patrol fan to watch, myself included.
Darn, the pandemic just can't take a break.😒
All I want is to see Marshall & Chase on a silver screen for the first time and adore my favorite gay pups.
Oh well...6 months is all what I can have to endure.

I posted about this on Twitter, so I might as well here, too.
Please don't take this the wrong way, but I really wish the upcoming theatrical sequel, "PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie" had focused on Marshall instead of Skye. I'm not saying this just because he's my favorite pup, but because I legitimately feel the story might've had more potential if it focused specifically on his powers.
Think about it; out of all of the pups' powers, who has the biggest potential to cause some accidental damage? Chase and his super speed? Skye and her flight/winds? Rubble and his super strength? Or a clumsy-but-with-good-intentions Dalmatian who can accidentally start fires with his heat paws?
As we all know, Marshall is a firefighter, thus he knows first hand (paw?) about the dangers of fires and how unpredictable and destructive they can be. And his powers? They have the potential to start them. Even with good intentions, mistakes can still happen because of what they are. What if he's inside of a building when he unleashes them, or if he's around objects that can easily ignite?
In fact, think back to when he stopped Harold's vehicle in "Mighty Pups". Remember when he melted that road? Remember how EASILY he did this with the tiniest bit of ease? Exactly.
This is strictly a fan theory of my own, but I've always pictured Marshall holding his powers back, due to the fear of what might happen if he was to let loose and cause the one thing he's dedicated his life to extinguishing. In fact, imagine if he was faced with a mission that requires him to use said powers, but he becomes too scared to do so because of the damage he might cause... both to the objects around him and maybe even living things? Or, maybe he did cause some damage at some point, and now that painful memory keeps lingering in the back of his mind.
Perhaps I'm alone on this, but I just feel that. instead of focusing on Skye and her (rather sudden and out-of-nowhere) belief that she's too small to do big things, the story might've had more potential if it focused on a pup who's afraid of his own powers and has to come to terms with them in order to save the day. Just think of the kind of growth that would involve, and the responsibility that would result from it!
Of course, that's just my two cents.

I set up and merchandised the NEW! PAW Patrol: The Movie 🐶 on the other side of the feature wall to make room for the NEW! L.O.L. Surprise! O.M.G. Movie Magic. At first...I wanted to put up "Liberty" poster up, since she is the new character in the movie, but me and the other merchandisers agreed to put up "Chase" instead because he is the lead character of the movie and we mostly have his toys on the shelf. 🤣 🐾 🚔 🐾 🚓 🐾 🚔 🐾 #toysruscanada #sherwaygardens #spinmaster #nickelodeon #nickjunior #nickjr #pawpatrolthemovie #preschool #preschooltoys #featurewall #visualmerchandising (at Toys"R"Us Canada) https://www.instagram.com/p/CTYpxQ2Lvsy/?utm_medium=tumblr
