ooc. if we're talking the fma verse, Chen is a fairly empathetic individual and they don't normally resort to violence, instead preferring to talk when facing confrontation. Obviously certain events would force their hand if they were involved, but more often than not they understand that the human experience is different for everyone, while simultaneously recognizing that some people are just plain evil.

They would have done more healing and tending to the injured (with and without alkahestry) during the various battles, especially the Promised Day.

Prince Ling is someone they would wholeheartedly support if they knew his ideals and his plans for Xing. I could see them becoming either an advisor, nurse, or even an ambassador of Xing post-Promised Day, once he becomes emperor.

People like Edward, Alphonse, Riza, and others would undoubtedly inspire them and change them during their time in Amestris. Several paintings / drawings would be created after everything is over, stored away to remind them that persevering despite all odds being stacked against you while also upholding your morals is important and possible.
