Moon 0 - Oneclan

Intro to the characters

Birdstar is fairly friendly with all cats except Swanfeather who she already doesn’t like. She is closest with WIndspeckle.

Mistdapple isn’t very close with anyone except Birdstar and Larkpaw. She dislikes Russetshade.

Pebblepool has average relationships with most, but is closest to Mistdapple and Nightflower.

Swanfeather is Nightflower’s mother, and Nightflower is Blackpaw’s mother. Swanfeather isn’t close with anyone. 

Windspeckle is close with Russetshade and Blackpaw, but dislikes Scorchsong. 

Russetshade is somewhat close with Pebblepool and Nightflower, but is distant with everyone else in the clan. 

Scorchsong gets along well with everyone in the clan, but is drawn platonically to Birdstar, and has a bit of a crush on Nightflower. 

Nightflower considers herself friends with most cats in the clan, but is closest with Blackpaw and Swanfeather. 

Larkpaw is closest with Birdstar and Windspeckle. 

Blackpaw is closest with Larkpaw and Swanfeather.

"Hey Grumpypelt, did you forget that we were gonna go hunting together today?" Morningsnow said, nudging the tom awake gently.

He stirred awake, grumbling under his breath. "Noo." He groaned, rising to his feet. He hadn't forgotten but he was hoping to sleep in a little longer. "How could I forget?" He yawned.

Moon 1 - Oneclan

Mistdapple and Windspeckle are taking longer then others to settle in, while Birdstar is already convinced they're Starclan's gift to Oneclan and Pebblepool is more then eager to commune with the dead.

On their first patrol, Mistdapple, Scorchsong, and Nightflower are trying to get used to the rocky terrain when Mistdapple slips down a cliff. Luckily she lives but has to be carried back to the clan where it's discovered she has a broken jaw...

Windspeckle, Russetshade, Larkpaw, and Blackpaw are patrolling the border when they find a large dog wandering. They manage to run the dog out of the territory.

Moon 72 - OneClan

Spottedpelt had a litter of 5 kits with an unknown partner. Weak with blood loss, Spottedpelt nevertheless purrs at the sight of their litter of 5 kits. They are named Blossomkit, Duskkit, Mosskit, Pebblekit, and Rockkit in honor of those who died. 

Dawnkit loudly complains as Larkpatch pulls them over to quickly groom their pelt. They manage to wriggle away and scurry off to the front of the crowd for their ceremony, where they are renamed to Dawnpaw and apprenticed to Rowanstem.

Cinderpaw smiles up at the stars as they sit beside Stormroar. The stars seem to shine brighter, and Cinderpaw knows it's a sign that Pebblepool is still watching over them.

Ashpaw tries to keep up a brave face as they're apprenticed to Spottedpelt, but they keep stealing glances at the crowd, as if trying to find Pebblepool despite knowing they're no longer with them.

Goosepaw has reached the age of six moons and has been made an apprentice, with Birdstar as their mentor.

As Mousepaw touches noses with Snowsong, they hope they'll get to do something that will really impress the Clan on their first day. Maybe they could catch a big, fat rabbit? Or chase off a fox! That'll show the Clan they're the best apprentice anyone's ever seen!

Birdstar chooses Silvergaze to take over as deputy.

Moon 67 - OneClan

Larkpatch had a litter of 3 kits with Pebblepool and named them Dawnkit, Cinderkit, and Ashkit. 

Snowsong finally feels back to normal after the strain of birthing a litter. 

Reeses Puff had a litter of 2 kits but refused to talk about their origin. They’re named Goosekit and Mousekit. 

Cloudkit is free of kittencough once again able to play and frolic.

Moon 71 - OneClan

Wolfstripe’s infection is gone. 

Rockpeak has gotten greencough. 

Spottedpelt thinks they’ll have a large litter. 

Flowerstripe gives Stormpaw a friendly nudge when the leadercalls the young cat's name. They watch with pride as Stormpaw steps forward to receive their new name, Stormroar, and are honored for their dignity.

Greencough ravages through the camp, killing Hoplilac, Pebblepool, Duskshade, Blossomheart, Mossfall, Rockpeak, Otterclaw, Toadpaw, and Chris. It also takes one of Birdstar’s lives. 

While Birdstar, Wolfstripe, Frostburn, and Larkpatch are on patrol, they choose to take the path with a precarious ledge and it gives out beneath Wolfstripe, sending him plummeting down the cliff side. The patrol eventually manages to find him, but he is dead, crushed beneath rocks. 

Doespots takes over mentoring Cloudpaw.

Surely, surely the world can't go on, surely the sun won't rise and the seasons won't turn, not now that Pebblepool is dead.

Larkpatch doesn't know how to go on without them. Larkpatch trembles, tearing at their nest, unable to sleep as they brood over Pebblepool's last moments. Did they suffer? Were they scared? Larkpatch can't shake the crushing guilt.

Nightflower nuzzles against the fur of their dead child, their kit, their Wolfstripe, and feels as though the world has ended. As the vigil draws to a close, someone suggests Nightflower should eat. They refuse, not so much as shifting their vacant gaze.

How is Birdstar supposed to keep going? They thought Pebblepool was always going to be there, was supposed to always be by their side, but now... Birdstar makes a point of removing some foliage from Pebblepool’s nest before it's cleared out. Pebblepool’s scent, and the strands of fur left behind, comforts Birdstar as they drift to sleep that night.

Windspeckle chokes back wails and tears, trying to get to the end of the story they've been telling about Wolfstripe's days in the nursery. They can do this, they can make sure Wolfstripe is honored at their vigil, even if Windspeckle can't do anything else for them. Windspeckle knew Wolfstripe might not always be with them, but it wasn't supposed to be so soon. They visit Wolfstripe's grave, bittersweetly recalling all the happy memories they shared.

Frostburn wails when they see the body of Wolfstripe, still and cold in the clearing. They sit vigil that night as grief fills their heart. Frostburn can't help the way their voice cracks while recalling Wolfstripe's life at the vigil. Even so, they force a smile, knowing Wolfstripe would want a celebratory memorial.

Flowerstripe wails when they see the body of their parent, Wolfstripe, lying still and cold. Cats offer Flowerstripe comfort and care. They refuse all of it.

Moon 59 - OneClan

Birdstar lost a life saving Windspeckle from a fox. 

Even with Nightflower by their side, Windspeckle doesn't feel ready to be a parent of this single kitten. But they promise to the tiny flailing limbs by their side that they'll do their best, they swear on StarClan itself. The kit is named Stormkit. 

Wolfstripe no longer has whitecough.

Pebblepool can hardly believe how quickly time has passed since Silverpaw was a kit. It still feels like just yesterday that they were tumbling around the nursery, chasing after a mossball or some other cat's tail. Misty-eyed with pride and joy, Pebblepool throws their head back and tries to cheer the loudest as Silverpaw is named Silvergaze and honored for their tenderness.

Reeses Puff no longer has whitecough.

Moon 10 - OneClan

Beans is no longer coughing and sputtering, their case of greencough is now cured. 

Birdstar wants to explore the whole territory with Nightflower. 

Pebblepool realized that they were too harsh in their judgement of Blacktuft. 

Mistdapple is surprised to hear Larkpatch express an ideal they can agree with. 

Nightflower is having a wonderful time discussing recent Clan news with Birdstar. 

Pebblepond insists on taking on more tasks. 

Larkpatch involves the kits in a game of make believe about traveling through a strange land. 

Larkpatch and Blacktuft have become mates. 

While searching for herbs Pebblepool spends too much time walking about in the cold and gets frostbite. 

While Russetshade and Swanfeather are on a patrol alone, Russetshade confides in Swanfeather that they feel like they never do a good enough job at teaching or mentoring. Swanfeather interrupts them, shocked - they’ve always thought Russetshade has done great! Russetshade looks away with a purr and hides their nose in their paws.

Moon 75 - OneClan

Silvergaze leaves to speak with StarClan. They close their eyes and are immediately surrounded by their loved ones, friends, and Clanmates who have passed on. Stars shine throughout their pelts, and their eyes are warm as they greet the new leader.

Pebblepool walks up to Silvergaze, offering a life for unity. They smile, and state that the Clan will do well under Silvergaze's leadership.

Hoplilac dips their head in greeting. Energy surges through Silvergaze's pelt as they receive a life for courage. They reassure Silvergaze that they are almost done.

Otterclaw dips their head in greeting. Energy surges through Silvergaze's pelt as they receive a life for certainty. They reassure Silvergaze that they are almost done.

Larkpatch steps forward to give Silvergaze a life for clear judgement. Silvergaze grits their teeth as the life rushes into them.

Oakfreckle pads up to the new leader, softly touching their nose to Silvergaze's head. They give a life for protection.

A new cat approaches. Blossomheart steps forward to give Silvergaze a life for instincts. Silvergaze grits their teeth as the life rushes into them.

A young cat emerges from the starry ranks to give a life. Starlight reflects off their youthful eyes. Toadpaw stretches up to give a life for happiness.

Wolfstripe walks up to Silvergaze, offering a life for sympathy. They smile, and state that the Clan will do well under Silvergaze's leadership.

Finally, Birdstar steps forward. There is pride in their gaze as they stare into Silvergaze's eyes. They give a life for the strength to overcome their fears.

Birdstar hails Silvergaze by their new name, Silverstar, telling them that their old life is no more. They are granted guardianship of OneClan, and are told to use their new power wisely. The group of starry cats yowls Silverstar's name in support. Silverstar wakes up feeling a new strength within their body and know that they are now ready to lead the Clan.

Silverstar has received their nine lives and become leader of the clan. 

Nightflower thinks they’ll have a large litter. 

Spottedpelt has recovered from birthing their litter. 

Mousepaw fought a dog and got hurt. 

Silverstar chooses Doespots to take over as deputy.

Moon 65 - OneClan

Birdstar finally feels back to normal after the strain of birthing a litter.

Larkpatch announced that they are expecting kits. They won't be moving into the nursery just yet.

Reeses Puff announced that they are expecting kits. They choose to continue their duties as usual for now.

Windspeckle is watching with pride as Stormpaw is named and given to Flowerstripe to apprentice under. They know that Flowerstripe was a good choice.

Birdstar is in love with Larkpatch, has romantic feelings for Nightflower, and hates Rowanstem, Doespots, Mothpounce, and Spottedpelt. 

Wolfstripe is in love with Frostburn and has romantic feelings for Otterclaw. 

Pebblepool is in love with Larkpatch. 

Chris is in love with Windspeckle. 

Spottedpelt dislikes Nightflower and Rowanstem. 

Larkpatch is in love with Birdstar and Windspeckle. She dislikes Wolfstripe. 

Frostburn is in love with Wolfstripe and dislikes Duskshade. 

Reeses Puff has romantic feelings for Blossomheart.

Mossfall dislikes Silvergaze but is surprisingly close with Doespots.

Moon 55 - OneClan

Pebblepool’s heat exhaustion has abated. 

Despite the enforced nest rest and how tightly their broken bone is bound, Wolfstripe’s injury is beginning to look concerning to Pebblepool and they’ve begun to plan what to do if the infection progresses any further. 

As the Clan cheers for the new warrior, Pebbleheart, Duskshade purrs loudly. Their kit is finally a warrior! A new journey has begun for Pebbleheart, and Duskshade knows that Pebbleheart's compassion will lead them through anything.

Otterpaw has gotten greencough. 

Newly apprenticed Ravenpaw can't help but squeak when their mentor's name is announced, and they run with their tail tucked between their legs in embarrassment to touch noses with Reeses Puff.

Spottedpaw can't believe their apprenticeship is finally here! Nearly tripping over their own paws, they scurry up to Pebblepool, excitedly touching noses with them.

Hazeltrail died of an infected wound. 

Beans and Nightflower retire.

Moon 53 - OneClan

Oakfreckle and Hazeltrail have gotten heat exhaustion. 

Otterpaw touches noses with Riversight and hopes they’ll get to hunt first, so they can make sure the clan is fed. 

Pebblepool is watching in pride as Silverpaw is named and given to Doespots to apprentice under. They know that Doespots was a good choice. 

Hazeltrail survived a vicious eagle attack with the claw marks to prove it. 

Pebblepool has gotten heat exhaustion. 

Larkpatch saved Pebblepaw from a fox but was hurt. 

There seems to be an infection growing in Wolfstripe’s broken bone.

Wolfstripe has brought a single kitten back to camp but refused to talk about their origin. He names the kit Flowerkit. 

The things they saw today, a pawprint of red on a rock, a perfectly intact yet hollow birds egg and a shell shining with the colors of water… Chris sits on an isolated mountain ledge, considering what the omens foretell. 

Duskshade has healed from their mangled tail but unfortunately lost the tail itself. 

Newly-made apprentice, Thistlepaw, touches noses with their new mentor, Birdstar.

Birdstar is in love with Larkpatch, and has romantic feelings for Nightflower and Beans. She hates Rowanstem and strongly dislikes Doepaw. 

Oakfreckle has romantic feelings for Larkpatch and Duskshade but dislikes Blossomheart and Pebblepool. 

Pebblepool loves Larkpatch and has romantic feelings for Nightflower. 

Chris has strong romantic feelings for Windspeckle. 

Beans has romantic feelings for Birdstar, Nightflower, and Windspeckle but dislikes Blossomheart and Doepaw. 

Nightflower is completely in love with Windspeckle and has romantic feelings for Beans, Birdstar, and Pebblepool. She dislikes Duskshade and Oakfreckle.

Reeses Puff already dislikes Snowsong. 

Duskshade has romantic feelings for Oakfreckle but dislikes basically everyone else. 

Rowanstem hates Birdstar. 

Wolfstripe has strong romantic feelings for Frostburn and dislikes Pebblepool. 

Snowsong isn’t close with anyone. 

Blossomheart is exceptionally close with Larkpatch. 

Mothpounce dislikes Duskshade. 

Swanfeather is in love with Windspeckle and has romantic feelings for Beans. She dislikes Pebblepool and Chris. 

Windspeckle is in love with Nightflower and has romantic feelings for Swanfeather, Beans, and Chris. 

Mothpounce is checking along the border lines when they hear a startling sound - a hiss of pain? They quickly follow the sound to the source. It’s a loner and they appear to be injured. Mothpounce approaches cautiously and the londer draws themself up but doing so causes them to let out another hiss. Mothpounce offers to bring them to camp. Though they seem hesitant, the loner agrees. Hazeltrail has joined the clan. They are Mothpounce’s mother.
