Idk how “pedometer” is going to show up in season 3 of Good Omens, but I can’t help but see Crowley as Bridget Christie in the Taskmaster episode where she walked so strangely she couldn’t get the pedometer to register her steps 😅😂

A new and for me important thoughts that came to my mind.

Neil was once asked if he could spare a special word about Season 2 and he said "Sandwich" -> later we found out that Mrs. sandwich , the non-seamstress was ment by that!

Now Neil was asked again for a special word for Season 3 and he said the word was " Pedometer"!

In the opening credits, alot of people are just walking. Walking a long long long time and an even longer way!

And I think the answer was infront of our eyes the whole time, visible in the opening credits of Season 1 and Season 2!

You see what I mean?

Thats maybe what is ment by Pedometer -> that in Season 3 alot of people, pretty much all of humanity are having to walk a hell of a long way! (Lead by Crowley or Aziraphale or both.)

That crowd gonna need some serious CGI or loads of Extras! ^

Bored so here’s my ridiculous pedometer theories:

(DO NOT send any of these or any other theories to Neil speculating about S3 or I will come for you and your toes regardless of how many you have)

Crowley is sitting outside looking sad. A child sees him, thinks he’s lonely and gives him what the kid thinks is a tamagotchi but it’s actually a beat up old pedometer -Crowley takes it and asks ‘What the hell is this? A pedometer?’ Then throws it in the gutter. Child cries, Crowley feels bad and miracles a blackbird into an actual hamster as a real pet for the child

Jesus is on earth and is a health queen, our two hero’s meet with Jesus who is out power walking in a ridiculously runners outfit (with the fluro shorty shorts, tights and visor et) and Crowley just gestures at him and says ‘wtf is that’ and Jesus just innocently pulls something off his belt and says ‘A pedometer’

Crowley gets so sick of Muriel and gives her a pedometer, he tells her it’s a game and you win by getting to 10,000 steps in an hour. He sends her out to the streets of London to beat the game and get some peace and quiet

Crowley loses the Bentley because of Heaven. So he gets a pedometer to track his steps so he can complain loudly to Aziraphale about how much he has to walk now

Aziraphale has a post break up pacing phase and gets a pedometer because of course he’d have a pedometer

An angel/demon who’s never been on earth gets in the Bentley and calls the speedo a pedometer

Aziraphale tries to say something in French but actually says pedometer

For some plot reason a pedometer is required and Crowley pulls on out. Az asks why he had that and Crowley just vaguely alludes to an evil plan he had brewing involving pedometers. Like they all get to 9,999 steps but never hit 10,000 or something

My pedometer theory:

Heaven is an open space without walls and few landmarks. Sort of like a desert, right? Have you ever received desert directions to find something in a place without roads? You're pointed in a direction and told to drive so many miles until you reach this rock formation, then turn 60 degrees and go straight again until you see a dead tree, that sort of thing.

What if Heaven gives directions by steps? Like someone's office might be 5k steps in this or that direction. Aziraphale hasn't properly been there in 6,000 years. He might need a tool to help him navigate.

My thoughts on Pedometer.

Someone mispronounces it as two words. I'm not gonna say what they are, I'm gonna let you figure it out.

I think it would be funny if an angel did it. That way mispronunciation would be an angel thing the way that misspelling is a demon thing. Mirroring and all that.

Tamagotchi Uni Features a Pedometer & Accelerometer

The Tamagotchi Uni has some unique gameplay unlike anything we’ve seen before. There are two new devices in the Tamagotchi Uni that are going to bring the gameplay to the next level! So what are they? There is a pedometer and an accelerometer in the Tamagotchi Uni.

What’s that? First off, a pedometer is a device that detects vertical movement to measure number of steps and provide an estimate of distance walked. You may recall that a pedometer was once in a Tamagotchi product, the Tamawalkie release back in 2008. This really makes sense to feature on the Tamagotchi Uni since there is a wristband.

The pedometer works with the new Tama Walk feature which allows you to walk around several locations for 20 minutes and collect items that you can use for crafting later on! This also encourages exercise and for Tamagotchi fans to take their Tamagotchi’s out for everyone to see!

Second, you’ve the accelerometer which is a device that measures proper acceleration which is the acceleration it experiences relative to freefall and is the acceleration felt by people and objects. This is actually being used in the Tamagotchi Uni is more than one way.

First there is the dancing game in the Tama Arcade, which is where you are instructed to hear the Tamagotchi Uni on your wrist, and then view the displayed dance move on the screen, and mimic the dance move! You’ll also use the accelerometer with the new Tama Walk feature, specifically the farm location. Simply tilt the device from left to right, up, and down and collect items that you’ll craft with later on.

We really appreciate the new devices and technologies in the Tamagotchi Uni, and how they collectively create a unique experience! These technologies make the device more interactive and more high tech for a comprehensive and immersive experience.
