The bags were packed with school and art supplies, and age appropriate reading materials in Spanish. Philadelphia-based choir, Philharmonia, will present a world premiere of a piece by Philadelphia-based and internationally renowned Australian-American composer Melissa Dunphy entitled "American DREAMers: Stories of Immigration". In this four-movement work, Dunphy has taken powerful texts from immigrants (DACA recipients, activists, etc.) and set it to extraordinary, moving music.We are accepting donations right now to help us put on this concert, and at the concert itself, while admission is free, we will be collecting money for HIAS Pennsylvania.
