Since it's Fake Peppino Friday, I'm deciding to give you guys my version of Fakey early whilst I work on my AU's masterpost!

Fake Peppino, named "Pepin", was the first Peppino clone to be created, and instead of being a gooey frog boy, he is instead a living doll! More specifically, one of those dolls with the soft, floppy bodies and the hard, plastic heads. He, as were most of the other clones, were created by Bruno Bruschetta, who replaces him as the 4th boss of the tower (At least for the first 2 phases), and he had kept Pepin locked in the basement of his Pizzeria for years, which led to him slowly becoming insane due to his constant loneliness.

When the tower began to collapse, Pepin was still locked in the basement and had no way of getting out, and after a small freakout, he curled up and basically just accepted his fate as the tower collapsed onto him. Poor Pepino was left in pretty rough shape after that, but he was luckily eventually found by Noisette, who took him in and patched him up before adopting him (Despite Noise's desperate intervention). She's also the one who gave him the name Pepin.

Pepin tends to be very clingy to Noisette, getting very upset/sad if he is without her at any time, because he's desperate to stay with the only person who's been willing to give him love. Thankfully, Noisette doesn't mind his clinginess to her.

Yknow how some people just get each other? Never really fight or get frustrated with each other? We're kinda like that,

Except when it comes to one thing.

See, Pep and I write fics together, and we love a bit of blood and tears. Only you eventually have to patch up that blood, and we refuse to skimp on it. Both being autistic, one of her special interests is medicine, specifically veterinary medicine. One of my special interests is also medicine, specifically ancient medicine. The overlap of course is modern human medicine, and we're both well versed in that as well for a non-medical practitioner.

So I need yall to understand that i am completely and entirely serious when i say this

The only fights Pepin and I have ever had were over the correct treatment plans of injured characters in our fanfics. And it hasnt been only one or two, oh no. We have about 4 fights a year just because we write a lot of medical scenes and we frequently disagree on the most logical course of treatment.

No one else reading our fics would recognize a small error in treatment. We know that.

We fought for about 2 hours the other night over the best way to cut off someones shirt to get at wounds and went to bed pissed at each other, knowing we were both being bitchy.

We have never had fights over anything else and its genuinely hilarious

that magical girl AU got us thinking about our own magical girl au with the horizon quartet it's not a very… magical girl sort of thing. for starters only Pepin is an actual magical girl. Galsuin is not a magical girl. ve just puts on puts on a cute dress to hang out and go on magical adventures with Pepin, co picked a name and made a cool introduction (which is a riff on hir luthe name) and all! how does he fight? well fae has miraculous powers and a hatchet, xe'll figure it out. Misha is too busy to get that involved with magical girl adventures and Gabrienne can barely leave nir house most days, but they both help figuring out magical things and also by being friends. also it all happens on the Chuubo's setting so there's all that. on top of that, Pepin isn't really a main girl type of magical girl. like, he's mostly in it for the magic powers and materials. honestly he and Galsuin have "rival magical girls who have slightly less moral scruples than the main group but will become friendlier after the arc where the main group has to save them" vibes. …kinda like Sailor Neptune and Sailor Uranus actually, but with amarity instead of lesbianism. now we're thinking of an arc where Pepin's experiments with magic go wrong and Galsuin has to go get help from the other magical girls. also, is there possession? well if there is Galsuin should get possessed at some point. maybe it'd be like a little episode focusing on Galsuin and Pepin AND when we first see their parents there'd be some very ominous shots but then it'd snap back to normal and show them just being people. it's foreshadowing to the reveal that their parents (one parent in Pepin's case) are eldritch horrors, which is played for laughs. we digress, the last important things to note are:

Pepin also has a Sailor Moon style catchphrase and it's also a riff on his luthe name

it's a reoccurring gag for a magical girl to go "what is this thing?" and one of them to respond "ohhh, yeah. that's a void thing" or for one of their parents to go "ok, what is this bullshit" and one of them goes "ohhh, yeah. that's magical bullshit(tm)" and…

Pepin and Galsuin bring a sort of "the power of friendship, miracles and highly corrosive substances" to the magical girl scene that other magical girls don't really like. (also we should probably pin down which miraculous arc Galsuin is in for this one) (And maybe this would work better in the setting of our urban fantasy AU, as opposed to classic Chuubo's setting)
