Het stereotype houdt in dat T’s slim maar onaardig zijn en F's lief maar dom zijn. Dat is natuurlijk niet zo. Iedereen past eens Thinking en een andere keer Feeling toe. Het gaat om je voorkeur en de wijze waarbij je je het meest op je gemak voelt. Als we de cognitieve functies begrijpen komen we tot de conclusie dat iedereen’s standpunt geldig is en dat het gedrag van anderen geen kwade bedoelingen heeft; het is enkel verschillend dan dat van ons. Je kunt er iedereen’s gedrag mee uitleggen omdat het hun aard is. Persoonlijkheidstypologie ís de menselijke natuur en het leert ons dat we allemaal evenveel goed en kwaad hebben en juist dat vinden wij fascinerend.
