What's so funny about so many "Annabeth is toxic" posts is that so many of the examples people pull from are just ... a thirteen year old girl trying and failing to flirt because she doesn't know how. The play fighting, the teasing ... Annabeth is trying to flirt with him! And she's bad at it because teenage girls are bad at it. Play fighting and teasing is the go-to strategy of middle school flirting. If Percy wore hats, she'd be stealing his hat and wearing it around for most of TTC and you bitches would still say "waaaaah she's toxic because she's stealing his personal property"

something that is so NFSKHFKSBFKSBD about leah as annabeth that makes me want to FJSJFHKSHFSKBF is the fact that she acts her age. what i mean is annabeth is a 12 year old girl with the trauma of a 30 year old but at heart just want to be 7 again. the way she talks when she’s bossing the boys around is like a teenager trying to lead a group project and failing at imposing authority but damn if an attempt was made. but when she gets upset u see the little girl on her face. the pout! the way she over pronunciates her words when she’s trying to sound older, bigger, stronger.
