Finding out he had biological family had been disorienting, to say the least. He had gone his entire life as an only child to a single parent, a mixed species changling raised by a human woman. When she passed a few years back, he had been left with no one.

Until his biological father showed up on his doorstep, claiming it wasn't safe for him to stay there.

The bar seemed alright so far, his brother and sister weren't awful, he supposed. Better than his one cousin, but that seemed to be a very low bar, all things considered, and he was still trying to figure out the other people there.

He hadn't even realized anyone else was in the den when he sank into one of the bean bags and let out a heavy sigh, muttering to himself about the place being pure chaos.
