i am sorry for this but... frat au where sid is still g's adorably orderly and nerdy boyfriend, but in this instance, he's doing undergrad before hopefully heading off to med school (to become a neurosurgeon), and geno -- and all of the rhos by association -- start worrying that sid's a lot more stressed than he's letting on. g knows that sidney had been fretting over the financial aid situation for med school, nobody's ever seen sid so tired so often, and when he does leave his job, or (1/5)

his dorm, or the library -- or wherever he goes -- by the time he showers, makes it to the house, and walks through the door, he can barely get three words out before he's passed out on on top of all of g's sheets. so, to cheer him up a little, everybody chips in for a cheesecake from a pretty good dessert place downtown, and the pledges are put in charge of following sid and telling everyone else where to show up, only, plot twist, sid's going into the back entrance of a strip club and (2/5)

holy shit the pledges were not prepared for this, so they call phil, who texts horny, who tells tanger, who's with flower, and they get g and it winds up so basically all of rho is crammed into one tiny corner of the strip club waiting for sid, who's Ready For Death, but admits that he's been worried over finances and the hours for his old job conflicted with classes, plus the tips he makes are honestly ridiculous. g's fighting off his Possessive Urges so he can just be as supportive as (3/5)

possible, and then conor speaks up to tell sid that, even though he never did rush with rho, sidney is undeniably family to them. sid spent 5 hours teaching the current sophomores how to to actually do laundry last year. almost everyone in the frat owes a good midterm/final grade to his color-coded "4 week cram-plan". he made split pea soup and kind of lopsided plum-filled finnish christmas cookies for olli when bad weather kept him from being able to go home for break. so, if sid thinks (4/5)

they aren't gonna help him search for grants and scholarships and apply for the mstp and help him however they can, well he's got another thing coming. the frat helps sid find ways to pay for med school, sid continues to act like glue holding everyone together ( ... he's been asked for advice on how to give lapdances recently which is... new... ) and, he's still geno's sidney, nothing changed -- his flexibility just makes a lot more sense now. (5/5)+random extra? ovi shows up at the club one night because he bought a ring for nicky and he's gonna propose but needs reassurance that it looks good enough. when sid sees him, for some reason, he frantically starts shoving him away from the main lounge area, and alex is like, "very sorry for bothering you at work. not here to look at you or anyone else -- only person i want look at ever is nicky, so i was hoping you-" but he stops because what his peripheral vision just picked up on, and (6/5)

what he's now completely staring at is nicky upside down doing some kind of split thing on a pole while in a pair of black briefs. he makes a noise like he's been shot. sidney is just like, "you know how i started this because i want to be a neurosurgeon and needed money for med school?" ovi nods. "and you know how nicky wants to be a trauma surgeon?" ovi nods again, understandingly. he and nicky talk about it later, when he can, ovi shows up to give nicky flowers at the ends of his sets, (7/5)and the two of them get engaged (he proposes by talking it over with nicky's family and surprising him in sweden that summer) and live happily ever after.
