Guys guys guys. There is something soooo good when I read about the Steel Samurai in an Ace Attorney in a fanfic and they start explaining some of the episodes and plot points that they made up, and I get sooo giddy when the authors end up making the Steel Samurai an exact replica of Ace Attorney.

Not an extra replica, of course. But authors tend to write the Steel Samurai as a mirror to Ace Attorney and I find it such a slay.

Like, sometimes a fanfic will have a character mention that “The Steel Samurai and The Evil Magistrate were childhood best friends and the Evil Magistrate turned to the dark side” and I get sooo happy when I realize that that’s exactly what happened with Miles and Phoenix.

There’s just, SO MANY LAYERS. Authors and writers should really try and bank on the idea of a having an in-universe piece of media be a slight mirror to what is happening in the actual universe if you get what I mean.

It's okay if years into recovery from your eating disorder you still can't step on the scale and look at the number. And guess what? You don't need that number in your life. You don't need it for anything. (except if you're into wrestling competitions maybe??) If anyone would ever need that number, it's going to be your doctor, and it's perfectly acceptable to tell them that you wish for the number to be hidden from you. I've told many different doctors and nurses that I would like for that information to be hidden from me and nobody made a big deal out of it. You can grow to love the shape and size of your body. You do not need to be aware of which number is attached to that shape. If you want to work on your feelings regarding numbers measuring weight, feel free to pursue this. But if living life is easier when you are simply not aware of the numbers. Go ahead and live that life. Maybe someday you will face that challenge if you wish, but it is not a necessary step to loving yourself. You are human. Numbers of weight are arbitrary measurements that do not have any influence on your life. If these numbers make you prone to relapsing, it is perfectly valid to simply remove the numbers altogether.
