One thing i really like abt Cinnabar is that they secretly Care a Lot. Once they became partners with Bortz they had their back no matter what, they remembered Phos and who they used to be when almost everyone moved on etc. When you give them a reason to care, they're ride or die, just like Cairngorm. Both of them are also of the "my good opinion once lost is lost forever" type.
