I looked for comfort in the kitchen cupboards only to find an empty house with no pies,
no fruit, no food, no you.
I sought comfort in your arms but they became too small for my body and your hands are rough—but my skin remains too vulnerable for your slightly crooked words.
There are no more memories painted in the hallways making us always return to the same places, same people, same memories so I wonder if you still remember what it was like?
When you think of me do you smell burning wood?
or remember the dripping taste of fruit spread throughout our home, on our skin, in the corners. between the walls or between your dreams.
I looked for the key I looked for an entrance I looked for you — I looked for life, but in closets too empty to feed a family there is no room for a faded girl in the corner of the crumpled photo that you keep in the same drawer of things forgotten with time
— the dead bees a poem by L. Baldo

Columbia River Belt Line Railway #7 "Skookum" por Kevin Madore Por Flickr: After years of restoration efforts, Columbia River Belt Line Railway #7, the "Skookum" was finally able to perform for a Trains Magazine photo charter in March of 2019. Seen here running in the Nehalem River Canyon with a demonstration log train, #7 shows off her rare 2-4-4-2 configuration in equally rare Oregon sun. This image was captured near Roy Creek Park in the hamlet of Mohler, Oregon. Built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1909 as their builder's number 33463, this unusual 2-4-4-2 articulated, compound Mallet was intended for the Little River Railroad in Townsend, TN as their number 126. Unfortunately, that railroad quickly determined that she was too long for the tight curves on their line and she was returned to Baldwin. In 1910, Baldwin managed to resell her to the Columbia River Belt Line Railway in Blind Slough, OR, where she was put to work as a logging engine. That railroad typically named their locomotives rather than number them, and this engine received the name "Skookum", which is apparently a Chinook term, meaning large, powerful or impressive. She served the Columbia River Belt Line from 1910 through 1920, before being sold to the Carlisle-Pennell Lumber Company, where she acquired the number 7. After a four-year stint there, she served 4 other railroads, including the Deep River Logging Company, where her long career came to a sudden end in 1955, when she rolled over with a string of empty log bunks. Since that line was in the process of shutting down, no attempt was made to recover her and she was left in place. In 1956, she was acquired by a man named Charles Morrow, who removed her from her wreck site in pieces....and she's spent the next 60 years in pieces, owned by several individuals and moved several different places. In 2005, she was acquired by Chris Baldo, who had her moved to the Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad, with the goal of restoring her. It's been a long road. Some pieces had been damaged when she was removed from the wreck site, and some pieces had been lost. Over the past 13 years, a restoration team has slowly and methodically restored her major components and re-assembled her into the condition you see here. She appeared in public for the first time at a Lerro Productions Charter in October of 2018, but alas, she was unable to perform for the photographers, because she still had some technical issues, including valve timing, which had to be tweaked and adjusted. After an additional 6 months of adjustments, repairs and break-in runs, she did make it out for the first of 2 photo charters organized by Trains Magazine, but alas, she still has some issues. She broke her second eccentric rod less than a week before the charter, and after additional repairs, suffered 2 tender brass failures during the charter. Each time, the railroad crews rapidly repaired her and she missed relatively little time during the event. Unfortunately, during her trip home on the second day, she broke her 3rd eccentric rod. Although repairs were initiated to get her ready for a second Trains event, the root cause of the issue had apparently yet to be found.

crack theory that can most likely be disproved but i like saying stuff so
it’ll be helpful for you if you’ve watched both IT and Stranger Things but you might be okay if you’ve only watched one of them 👍
also i don’t know how tf people get photos of scenes from netflix so bare with this imageless post
okay okay so in season 2 of stranger things, Bob is trying to get Will to open up about his fears and to do that, he shares one of his own. he tells the story about how he used to be afraid of a character named “Baldo The Clown”. he was absolutely terrified of him.
Bob says that this Baldo guy would appear in his dreams and give him nightmares. a repeating nightmare that he had frequently. one day, he gets fed up with Baldo and screams at him in his dream to “go away”. Bob says that after he did this, Baldo was gone. Bob confronted him and he vanished.
now put that aside, lets talk about another thing. theres going to be a series coming out in 2024 based of Stephen King’s IT, called “Welcome To Derry”, right? its stated that this series is about the origins of It, and will feature a new group of kids who fight against It.
obviously since It: Chapter 1 and Stranger Things both take place in the 80’s, people can’t say Bob was one of the losers, but depending on when this series takes place…
do you see where i’m going with this?

Tribute to Baldo 🐶 (p4)
These are some of the photos where we live life to the fullest. How can we describe each? We embrace the feeling of becoming an astronomer, even for a night. He always asked me for a specific problem that he could integrate with his math classes.
I have plenty of things left to share with him (e.g., data analytics, utilization of AI, etc.). He left too soon, and he will no longer learn some of the things that I badly wanted to share.

Tourism and Travels

Garda Lake Italy Tourism and travel Tourism and travels. Take a tour around the world: culture, traditions, curiosities, towns, lakes, mountains, photos, links, and videos by English-culture.com Global Tourism Resilience Day (17 February), proclaimed by the General Assembly in resolution A/RES/77/269, aims to emphasize the need to foster resilient tourism development to deal with shocks, taking into account the vulnerability of the tourism sector to emergencies. For instance, Tourism and Green Investment, encourages a focus on improved travel experiences and innovative solutions “for people, for planet and for prosperity”. We recommend Garda Lake for your travel experiences. It is an ideal touristic place, together with some stunning places in Great Britain, such as the Lake District, the Scottish Highlands, London or other famous towns in England, Germany, America, France and Italy. Garda Lake (Lago di Garda or Benaco) is the largest Italian lake, situated at the foot of the Alps, in a beautiful area of southern Europe. At only 30 Km from Verona, 100 Km from Milan and 130 Km from Venice it is well placed for road, rail and air connections. It is located in Northern Italy, about half-way between Venice and Milan. Glaciers formed this alpine region at the end of the last ice age. The northern part of the lake is narrower, surrounded by mountains, the majority of which belong to the Gruppo del Baldo. The shape is typical of a moraine valley, probably having been formed under the action of a Paleolithic glacier. Although traces of the glacier's actions are evident today, in more recent years it has been hypothesized that the glacier occupied a previously existing depression, created by stream erosion 5 to 6 million years ago. The lake has numerous small islands and five main ones, the largest being Isola del Garda. Nearby to the south is Isola San Biagio, also known as the Isola dei Conigli ("Island of the Rabbits"). Both are off shore of San Felice del Benaco, on the west side. The three other main islands are Isola dell'Olivo, Isola di Sogno, and Isola di Trimelone, all further north near the east side. The main tributary is the Sarca River, while the only emissary is the Mincio River. The lake and its shoreline are divided between the provinces of Verona (to the southeast), Brescia (southwest), and Trento (north). Being easily accessible from the north via the Brenner pass, the lake is a major tourist destination, including a number of exclusive hotels and resorts along its shore. Lake Garda offers the visitor a splendid natural scenery, full of colours, surrounded by the Dolomites of Brenta in the north and the gentle slopes of the morainic hills in the south. A rich vegetation flourishes thanks to the Mediterranean climate: lemon trees, oleanders, magnolias and bouganville. The cultivation of vineyards and olive groves produces good wines and olive oil. Walking leisurely around the small village centres, going on a boat trip, exploring the surroundings in a wide choice of itineraries are the best ways of enjoying the lively atmosphere of the lake and the beauty of the landscape. Moreover, Lake Garda is ideally situated for excursions: to the historical cities of Verona, Brescia, Mantua, Trent and Venice, to the Dolomites, to a performance at the Arena in Verona during the Opera Season. In this region almost every sport can be practised from tennis to paragliding, free-climbing, scuba-diving, clay-pigeon shooting and karting. Sailing and windsurfing enthusiasts find here their ideal conditions and over the last years Lake Garda has been chosen by lovers of mountain-bike and has become world famous for the quality of its golf courses. If looking for fun and relax there is a good choice of amusement parks and gardens; for those who love shopping there are opportunities meeting all needs, from the picturesque street markets to the most elegant shops. Lake Garda is also well known for its exciting night-life, its dolce vita: restaurants, cafes, the trendiest discos and entertainment of all kinds are to be found everywhere. For those who are thinking of a holiday in this attractive part of Italy Garda Vacanze is glad to present the best hotels, holiday apartments, farm holidays and campings round Lake Garda, chosen for the high standard of service, the pleasant location and the outstanding value for money. As Lake Garda is one of the most exclusive venues for business meetings and incentives in Italy, Garda Vacanze suggests suitable 4 and 3 star hotels, perfectly equipped with conference facilities.

Garda Lake Sirmione Italy Lake Garda is the most important European lake, and it has always been a renowned tourist area. The land is characterised by two colours that give a feeling of joy and peace: blue as the waters illuminated by the sun, and green as the gentle hills surrounding the lake. Thanks to the lake's mediterranean climate, plants and flowers flourish everywhere: vines, bougainvillae, lemon groves, olive trees. Apart from its clear waters, the lake has plenty to offer: art (the Vittoriale museum, the Art Nouveau villas), entertainment (water parks, concerts, shows, live clubs), nature (the lemon gardens, natural parks), sports (sailing, windsurf, water ski, canyoning, rafting, paragliding, trekking, mountaineering, climbing), shopping in the elegant boutiques of the lake promenades. Three beautiful golf courses are available on the western coast, and are renowned all over Europe. Spas and top-quality wellness centres are also very well known. Lake Garda is worth a visit also for its typical products such as wine (high-quality red and white wines such as Groppello, Lugana and Garda Classico), extra-virgin olive oil, and delicious traditional dishes based on lake fish and spits. Worldwide famous painters, writers and artists like Goethe, D’Annunzio, Ibsen and Lawrence lived here and from the harmony of the lake drew inspiration for some of their important works. On the Garda Lake we have more than 1,200 hotels, 1,024 restaurants, 410 pizza-restaurants, 480 bars, 22 discotheques, 206 campings and 60 holiday farms. www.officeholidays.com Job tourism in Lombardy Turismo enogastronomico The Lake District The Scottish Highlands City guide around London Dickens literary London The London Marathon Christmas Markets in England Christmas markets in America Christmas markets in Italy and Germany http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ojzyMJN32Is Rss Feed about Travel and Tourism Rss Feed about Hotels and Resorts Read the full article

A biker would risk less if he stayed home and a motorbike would be safer it were kept in the garage.
But that’s not the reason why bikers are born and that’s not what motorbikes were meant for.
Un motociclista rischierebbe di meno se rimanesse a casa ed una moto sarebbe più al sicuro se stesse chiusa in garage.
Ma non è per questo che si nasce motociclisti e non è per questo che sono state create le moto.

Ch180 (2), Hiring
Of course, all these weapons are ready for use. 😆
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Here’s the picnic scene. Baldo attacks out of confusion and paranoia. Well, honestly, Baldo has reason to be wary, so not paranoia. But a lot of confusion.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It’s funny that Baldo mistakes Sebastian for a grim reaper. I’m also reminded that Sebastian later meets Grelle and says that’s the first reaper he’s met in the human realm. (How can he have made previous contracts or even gone around randomly eating souls without running into at least one in the human realm before?) Anyway, he explains he’s “merely a butler”, but we know by now the devilish puns in the wording. 😉
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Baldo can’t cut Sebastian’s throat, and he seems to think it’s because he’s become that weak from starvation. This means he’s trying to. Sebastian is apparently stopping the blade from cutting him. The food could be poisoned, but Baldo’s hunger prevails, so he stuffs his face. And Sebastian confirms what we already knew: Baldo was going to eat part of his fallen comrade, Terry.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Sebastian explains about recruiting warriors in England and finding out about Baldo’s impressive “living streak”, if you will… once he came to the Americas in search of talent. I guess England ran out of the talent he seeks. Someone who can protect the earl and also survive the attacks.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
😆 Sebastian apologizing for not sending an introduction by way of letter. 😏
Reached the photo limit, so look for the continuation in part three.
