I am proud to be a wedding photographer in Chennai (formerly known as Madras) because this metropolitan city has long been a hospitable and welcoming respite for visitors seeking good food, great shopping, and just as importantly, plenty of culture. India is a world class wedding destination, and Chennai is one the most popular Indian cities to get married.

Chennai has a population of over 9 million, and it is one of the oldest cities in India.

It is also home to many colleges and universities, including Anna University (the second largest university in India), giving students easier access to higher education. I went to college here as well! I studied engineering for two years, but because I wanted to learn about photography and not computer science, I switched majors after my first year. Because my parents loved me so much they paid for it! Haha! Now I am running a very successful wedding photography business in Chennai.

Chennai (aka Madras) is the capital and largest city of Tamil Nadu, a state in South India. It is located on the Coromandel Coast of the Bay of Bengal. The city might sound familiar because it is one of the main stops for those heading from India to Sri Lanka during their honeymoon!

The famous AIDC museum building has a wonderful hostel that guests can stay at during their visit to Chennai. I highly recommend staying here, there are lots of activities and sightseeing within walking distance. Sri Parthasarathy Temple , also known as the #BigTemple , is a #HindutempleinChennai , India. The temple was constructed by the #Pallavadynasty and has been renovated a number of times in the past. Are you staying home from work/home? - Staying at home and working/chilling. My main job is writing so whenever I am not writing fanfic, I am writing for work. 

If you are staying home, who is with you? - My family. We are a total of 11 humans and a puppy living together these days. 

Are you a homebody?- Mostly. I only get out for groceries. 

An event that you were looking forward to that got cancelled- Moving in with my best friend in a different city! We had such plans and now this uncertainty has pushed everything to God-knows-when. Not to mention, I worry about their health incessantly. 

What movies did you watch recently?- I have been binge-watching my old favorites, a combination of cringe and class: Darling, Mirchi, Baahubali 1, Saaho, Raghavendra, Kshanam, Main Hoon Naa, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham, Baghban, Manto, Dhanak, The Angrez, Raees, Chennai Express, and Veer Zaara. You can tell I am a Shahrukh Khan and Prabhas fan!

What shows are you watching?- Finished Special Ops, The Family Man, Kalifat, Bhaukaal, Kaafir, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, and Gossip Girl. Starting Shtisel, Unorthodox, and Jane The Virgin. 

What music are you listening to?- Classical music and pop music of the 80s. Can’t get enough of Puccini, Verdi, Rachmaninoff, and Eric Esenvalds. Also can’t get enough of Tracy Chapman and Badly Drawn Boy. 

What are you reading?- Just finished reading The Pakistani Bride by Bapsi Sidhwa. Very difficult read. especially as my own family lived through partition. 

What are you doing for self care?- Baking breads, pizzas, desserts, and other goodies every other day. Also engaging in concept photography using my family members as models.
