After nearly a 10-year gap, I rediscovered Yokohamabashi shopping street, or 横浜橋商店街 (Yokohamabashi Shotengai), nestled just a 4-minute stroll from Bandobashi Station on the Yokohama Municipal Blue Line subway. Like decades ago, the shopping street feels like stepping into a living legacy that has withstood the test of time since the conclusion of World War II.

In this video, I aimed to capture the essence of this shotengai through my camera lens, focusing on shots taken after sunset to leverage the vibrant colors inherent in nocturnal street photography. I also utilized a 5% diffusion filter on my lens to enhance the blooming effect.

It offers lots of beautiful trees and plants, a greenhouse and lots of beautiful flowers, depending on the season. This park is small and intimate and there is lots to explore.
