You know you’re obsessed with The Nanny when:

You start mimicking Fran’s New Yorker accent and do all her hand gestures

You start picking clothes based on what she would wear in the year 2000s (if you’re a millennial like me 😜) and you also start wearing boots or high heels.

Your voice unnaturally goes higher

You love the colour red even more

If you have an English (male) partner you automatically want to call him “Mr Sheffield”

You become more chattier (even if you’re shy as anything)

You wish your mother was more like Fran (😂)

You start reading “coffee” as “cawffee” in a fanfiction when you see Fran is speaking

You decide to call your future kids (or if you have any) any of the main characters from the show but mainly Fran and use reverse psychology on them 😂

You start saying Jewish phrases ie “Oy vey”, when something disappoints you, etc

You lie about your actual age 😂

You start listening and memorising all of Barbara Streisand’s songs (hell even the name makes ya think of Fra’s obsession with her 😂)

You start to eat Häagan Dazs when you’re having a bad day

When you start including incessant endearments in your everyday texts or when schmoozing to someone

You start zinging someone who dares pick on you

You constantly cross your legs and start sitting on objects ie desks

When you see Pierce Brosnan pop up on TV you immediately think of Maxwell Sheffield

You automatically want become a nanny and marry your employer after 5 years of sexual tension (😂)

You take note of which outfits Fran is wearing when she’s married to Maxwell (and, no, her wedding dress and negligee doesn’t count 😂)

You also note the Sheffield kids’ and their age differences and base it off a particular season (even more so when Maxwell calls Fran by her first name or “darling” etc then you know it’s between S5&6)
