my "main" fanseries (i.e. the oldest and most developed) PikaPika Tropica Precure! finally got to polishing their designs ✨

🐚 Cure Shell 🐚

Here is a fan-fancure of @curedaybreak‘s PikaPika Tropica Pretty Cure! I made using the creation guide ^_^ She’s the Cure of seashells and crustaceans. Her motifs are shells, and her colors are magenta, coral pink and yellow as sub-color. Her weapons are Lamparadis Éventails and are fan-shaped objects. She’s 11 and she’s friend with sea animals. She raises a lot of crabs in her home and she loves talking to them. She’s upset when people only see them as food! She has a bright personality although she’s timid. Her zodiac sign is, of course, Cancer.

Dene's PikaPika Tropica Pretty Cure seems like such a fun series! I really love the summer/hawaii-escue feel of it, like the names, and all the characters (Cures, mascots and villains alike!) seem so much fun! I can't wait to see more of their adventures!

A young boy dressed up like a devil, complete with fake wings and horns, stepped on stage, or rather… was pushed on stage.

"Ugh, fine. I'll do it." He turned to some people hidden behind the stage and then looked at the audience with an indifferent expression. "Greeting, humans. I am Shade, the prince of darkness and heir of darkness' throne. Last year I won this award and they said my evil couldn't be matched! Well, apparently they lied to me because now I have to give my trophy away?" He grumbled. "I mean last year it was called Best Villain and now it's Worst Villain… so that means I'm the best still right?"

Shade sighed, grabbed a sheet from his hands and started reading it.

"Anyway!! Here are the nominees… first up is Subzero from PikaPika Tropica Pretty Cure!, made by superfamico." He read and rolled his eyes. "Whoever that is."

The screen behind him showed a tall man in a tight bodysuit with silver hair. He sat on a throne made of ice, and smirked to the camera.

"Ah yes, one of my good friends. Always nice to play cards with him." Hail chimed in from behind the stage. "Very cool powers." He coughed. "And an, ahem, unique fashion sense."

"Next is Cat's Eye from Shimmering Satellite Pretty Cure. Made by MissMelli-Mellifu..." Shade squinted to read the name right. "MissMellifluous, or just Moe!"

The screen shifted from Subzero to a literal cat-girl with a glowing eye. She summoned a star from her eye and raised it up in a menacing fashion.

"Oh, she's very determined! I can respect that! Looks like she has a lot of tricks up her sleeves." Shade commented before turning to the next nominee.

"Now we have Dark Desire from Friendly Pretty Cure!, made by SingMeloetta!"

The screen now showed a girl dressed in a dark dress fighting the titular Friendly Pretty Cure using purple fire.

"This one doesn't seem so friendly, ha!" Shade laughed. "She's like some sort of dark Precure. I like her purple fire! I want purple fire too!"

"And last up is Ruth Loveless from Sweetheart Pretty Cure, made by Veroniquemagique.

The screen changed to show a somewhat regular, if not sweet, looking woman, but the contempt and hatred was clear in her eyes. She had locked arms with a man with a similar expression.

"Blegh, how sugary sweet… but she and her co-villain may be more dangerous than they seem like at first glance…?" Shade noted, a little weary of the couple's almost unnaturally bright smiles. "Never judge someone by how they look. Like me, for example!"

Shade held up a sparkling envelope. "Ew." He shook it a bit so the sparkles would fall off. "In my opinion… you're all the worst!! But I think that's the point. Who is the absolute worst, most evil, and clever, and the one that can truly make those stupid petty curs shake in their boots! There can only be one!! And that is…"

Slowly, he opened the envelope, and more sparkles fluttered free (to Shade's annoyance).

"Subzero from PikaPika Tropica Pretty Cure!" He shouted, and threw the envelope away. "Congrats, I guess. I'm still the best in my book, and who cares about this stupid thing anyway!?"

Hello all! I’m Dene—creator of PikaPika Tropica Pretty Cure!, Memoria Pretty Cure, and Alchemical Pretty Cure!, as well as a noted fancure hoarder (lol), and designer of the new Fancuries mascot, Cure Award. Getting nominated for this category again is exciting! I’ve been drawing since elementary school, and some of my first forays into the world of anime and manga were through magical girl shows like TMM and especially Precure. Traditional art is what I’d consider to be my forte, at least in regards to where I’m currently at with my art (despite my many, many attempts, I’ve never really been able to adjust to the digital workflow orz). In hindsight, I think I owe a lot of my improvement over the last few years to my participation in the fanseries community. Thank you so much for nominating me! ♡

“Wow, hi all! W-wow what a turn up um… Um okay, hello my name is Fuaffu! I-I’m the mascot from Care Precure, and I’m here to present the Best mascot design, which um… My team thought I’d be a good fit for. A-as the title suggest, The best mascot design is all about look and aesthetics. How a mascot looks and fits into their teams theme, and how interesting mascots look. Standing out as a mascot is something we all strive to, and tonight we want to celebrate the ones who look the utmost best! So um… Without further ado, here’s the nominess for Best mascot design; Acero and Garland, from PikaPika Tropica Pretty Cure, Scully and Mulder from Pretty Cure #Confirmed, and Zephyr from Mythical Pretty Cure. And the winner is Zephyr, from Mythical Pretty Cure!”

The next presenter flies on stage, because they’re a fairy and they can do that. They float in front of the microphone and everyone gets a good look at them, all starry-eyed and purple. Hailing from a distant world, Antimony does count as an alien to most of the audience and they certainly look the part with those antenna ears and nebulous tail. “Hello everyone, mony!” they begin. They pause as if expecting some sort of applause, but none comes just yet, so they move on. “I’m Antimony from Pretty Cure ad Astra and tonight I’m presenting the Most Promising Creator award, mony!” There’s a little applause this time. “I know a certain promising creator myself, so I’m totally qualified to judge this, mony!” They wave at a girl in a blue suit in the audience, who awkwardly waves back. “Hm, okay, so I know a lot of us are here because certain… other people, mony? …are really focused on telling the stories they wanna tell. Some of these people are real rising stars, and this award is for them, mony! “For our nominees, first we have Cure Imagination! She also goes by Euphoria, and created Fairytale PreCure, mony! “Next is… Deh… Dee… Deneboon? I hope I said that right, mony… They’ve created a LOT of series, like PikaPika Tropica Pretty Cure!, mony! “Then we have Isurani, who writes Interstellar! Pretty☆Cure! That’s exciting, it’s a space-themed series, mony! “Lastly, it’s Tiffany-Chan123! She has a few fun series and she recently started putting out JUMP! Precure, mony!” Antimony takes a moment to stop and recollect themself before levitating the envelope in front of them to open it and read the winner. “Our Most Promising Creator of 2018 is…Deneboon! Congratulations, mony!” After the award is presented, Antimony quickly flies back into the audience, settling next to their team.
