Every month, they gave a go pro camera to one player to film little snippets of their life on and off field to then be turned into a youtube video. Fans were obsessed with it. The first month, Beth Mead and Vivianne Miedema had it, the second, Kim Little, and this month, fans were begging for you and Katie to have it. So, you agreed. Jonas gave you the camera on monday after training, and you immediately started filming on your way home.

You and Katie had been together for a year, and despite Katie’s fierce and slightly argumentative personality on the pitch, you had never had a fight. Off the pitch, she was a real sweetheart. For you, however, on the pitch, you were tactical, strong, and you would weave through players as though they were pilons. And off the field, you were so clumsy you could have tripped over an ant.

"Hey guys!" You said, fumbling with the camera and trying your best to place it on the dashboard. "Damn it!" You giggled as the camera fell again. You finally managed to set it up where it stayed still and where you and Katie were both in frame. "You’re hopeless." Katie said, keeping her eyes on the rainy road. "Am not!" You poured, turning your attention back to the camera. "Anyways. Training just ended so that’s why we’re looking sweaty and disgusting. So, we’re going home to shower and change and then we’re going out shopping for the afternoon. I need new-" You started saying. "Want. You want new shoes." Katie cut you off. "Shut up, Katie." You said to her.

You cut the camera, knowing you shouldn’t film too much because the videos were only ten minutes long.

"This vlog is going to be chaotic, babe." Katie said, smiling at you before turning her eyes back to the road. "It will not. I guarantee you I can spend the month without you getting a single clumsy moment from me on camera." You told her. "Oh you are so on. What do we win?" Katie asked. "Hmm, the winner gets to take the looser on a date. The winner plans everything, and the looser pays for everything." You pitched. "Sounds good to me."

You lost the bet three hours later.

You had gone home, showered and changed. The rain had stopped and it was now sunny and warm in London, and you wore a black cropped tank top with black trousers and beige loafers. Accessories were always the way to go with you, so you wore rings and bracelets as well as two necklaces. You loved showing off your tattoos, and Katie loved seeing them.

You got back into your car to go to the shopping outlet, deciding to stop for coffee. You set up the camera when you were parked in front of the coffee shop.

"Okay so we’re getting coffee now, and we’re gonna see who has to go in and get the coffee." You said to the camera before turning to Katie. "Rock, paper, scissors, shoot!" You said at the same time. Katie won and you groaned as she celebrated.

"I dont like you." You told Katie as you opened the car door and walked into the shop. Katie filmed you walking into the shop. "She’s so hot. And she loves me very much don’t be fooled." Katie told the camera, flipping it back to show her face.

You ordered two coffees, a shaken oat milk espresso for you and a matcha for Katie. You started walking towards the door, seeing Katie filming you through the clear doors of the car. You walked towards the door and pushed it with your hip.

It was a pull door.

You spilled your coffee all over yourself, and you look up to see Katie barking with laughter as she films you. You groan loudly and walk out of the shop, your outfit soaked with coffee. Katie sits in the car, laughing her head off at you. You open the door of the car and sit in the seat. "I’m-im suprised you didn’t try to push the car door!" She giggled.

You tried to look at her sternly, but you ended up laughing too. Katie turned off the camera and you handed her her coffee. She leaned in to kiss you, wiping the coffee off your neck. "I love you." She told you as she pulled away.

You groaned as a response.

"What do I do? Im soaked." You said, looking down at your wet shirt and pants. "Well, lucky for you, after having dated you for a year, I know how to prepare for all your little quirks." Katie said, reaching into the backseat. "What does that even mean?" You asked her, watching her suspiciously. "It means…" Katie started, finally grabbing what she was looking for. She pulled out a bag of clothes from the back. "I change it for every season. Right now. We’ve got… a mid length white tee shirt, a brown crewneck and jean shorts. I know this is a boring outfit and not to your standard so I threw in these random sunglasses." Katie said, pulling out your favorite Y2K sunglasses with silver stars on the side. "Katie! I love you and thank you for this but… i’ve been looking for those shades for like three months." You giggled, taking them from her and putting them on you. You fixed your hair and looked at her. "How do I look?" You asked. "Amazing. Let me take a picture." Katie said, pulling out her phone. "Lovely." She said as she took the pic.

"Okay now let’s take the countryside road so we can park on the side and let you change you clumsy girl." Katie said, pulling out of the parking space. "Oh and by the way, when should we do our date? I already have ideas." Katie said.

You just groaned again.

You were now in the backseat of the car, changing quickly when Katie pulled out her phone, taking a picture of you as you buttoned your jean shorts. You flipped her off, and she snapped another picture. Katie filmed you with the go pro as you got out of the backseat and walked back to the front. She had been kind enough to share her matcha with you.

You sat criss cross in the seat as she filmed you. "Time to explain what happened, y/n," the irish woman said in a sing songy voice. "I spilt my coffee and I had to change clothes. Now give me that." You took the camera from your girlfriend and started filming her. "Look how cute she is!" You squeezed her cheeks making her roll her eyes and laugh. You placed the camera on the dashboard. "It’s all a lie! She’s secretly a-" You couldn’t finish your sentence as when you were adjusting your position, you hit your head on the roof of the car. "Fuck!" You groaned, holding your head with one hand and Katie’s matcha with the other. "Okay." Katie said. You looked over at her and gave her a ‘really?' look.

Unfortunately this dictum ignores the fact that coffee is an addiction, and most of us need that morning jolt to make us even moderately productive during the typical day. Sure, you might get rich, but who wants to hang out with a grumpy millionaire?

Coffee is a necessity for a greater part of the population, so to preserve your money and your sanity you have to become a wise coffee drinker. When you spring for a paper cup full of Starbuck’s coffee, a large percentage of your four bucks is paying for that green and black logo. It’s just coffee, after all; why should it be so expensive? If you’re like me, you’re just in it for the caffeine anyway–flavor is a bonus.

I’m not suggesting you sink to the level of Maxwell House or Sanka; there are some very flavorful coffees available that are quite reasonable. My favorite is Bustelo, a rich coffee imported from Cuba and widely available in the U.S. I used to buy it in my local grocery store for about $2.99 for a 10-ounce brick. But over the past year or two the store price rose above $3.00, so I switched to Cafe Caribe, which is roasted and blended by a Brooklyn company for the Hispanic market and is still under $3.00 a brick.

But I could do even better. A quick online search turned up several sources of cheap coffee that don’t sacrifice taste:

Coffee Bean Direct (www.coffeebeandirect.com) offers 42 varieties of roasted whole beans, not including decaffeinated versions. On the low side, whole bean Colombian Supremo can be purchased in 25-pound bags for $89.50 ( which works out to $3.58 per pound), and whole bean Dark Celebes Kalossi in a 25-pound bag maxes out at $138.75 ($5.55 per pound). Not only does bulk buying save on product cost, but Coffee Bean Direct offers free shipping for orders of 25 pounds or more.

Java Cabana (www.javacabana.com) has a decent selection of flavorful branded coffee. Among their offerings are: – Medaglia d’Oro (Italy). A case of six 36-ounce cans sells for $63.80 (or $10.63 per big can, equivalent to $2.95 for a 10-ounce can). – Bustelo, my favorite, from Cuba can be had in cases of twenty-four 10-ounce bricks for $59.40 (equal to $2.48 per brick). – Pilon (Cuba). Case of twenty-four 10-ounce bricks for $57.40 ($2.39/brick). – Caffe’ Signore (Italy). Case of twenty-four 8.8oz bricks for $61.68 (or $2.57 per brick, equivalent to $2.91 for a 10-ounce brick). Shipping will certainly add somewhat to these prices, but at the time of this writing Java Cabana was offering UPS Ground service for free.

I also found a company called California Coffee Roasters (www.freshcoffee.net), which offers five standard varieties in 5-pound bags for $27.50 ($5.50 per pound). The shipping cost for 5 pounds is quoted at $7.25, but they offer free shipping for orders of 20 pounds or more.

The best deal? My current caffeine delivery system, Cafe Caribe, on Amazon.com–six 10-ounce bricks cost $12, and there’s free shipping for orders of $25 or more. They also sell 6-ounce bricks of Cafe Bustelo for $2.50.

So let’s see how far down you can pay your Visa balance if you’re getting your coffee from your mailman instead of your local artisan roaster. A 10-ouce can of Cafe Caribe makes about 10 large espressos or cappuccinos (probably the equivalent of a Starbuck’s double), and if you buy it on Amazon for $2.00 per brick, each cup will cost you twenty cents. That means that your annual cost for productivity and bliss is only $73. Heck, at that price you can afford to have a second cup every day and still tuck away over $1300 a year!

Of course these calculations do not factor in the initial investment of thirty or forty dollars for a Krups espresso machine on eBay, perhaps a ten-spot for a thermos, and the ongoing cost of milk or cream and sugar; but even taking those into consideration you still come out well ahead of your brand-loyal friends.

So kiss goodbye to the Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee and say hello to Jamaica, or Aspen, or to financial freedom!

Exoscheletul este alegerea naturii de a conferi învelișului exterior funcția de structură de rezistență. Mobilierul organic, ”din tot lemnul” –  vorba lui Gabi, are în toată masa rezistență, materie naturală și dacă forma este inspirată din natură, poate aduce cu orice vietate vrea privitorul să-și imagineze. Denumirea de Spider Table este foarte întâlnită, răspândită și interpretată sub diverse viziuni de creatori anonimi, celebri sau iluștri necunoscuți. Ca și orice din lumea asta ne place sau ne lasă indiferenți, în funcție de corzile pe care imaginea la care privim le atinge mai mult sau mai puțin.

Paianjenul are exoscheletul completat de picioare lungi care-i asigură o proporționalitate posibil a fi reprodusă de o masă, compusa din blat și picioare. De aici până la a construi asemuiri e doar un pas. Mi-mi place mai mult când vietatea doar se ghicește, nu când este reprezentată explicit. Reproducerile aproape fidele nu sunt pe gustul meu, însă au suficienți adepți și păreri apreciative. Danish design -ul a fructificat destul de des acest tip de structură și au reprodus cu elemente subțiri destul de frecvent ideea de Spider Table.

Sper să nu se întâmple ca și la masa Britain rotundă unde am prezentat modelul fabricat de noi și o suită de imagini reprezentative pentru modelul respectiv, așa cum au văzut și alții ideea de bază. Ulterior publicării acelui articol am primit un val de cereri pentru modele pe care nu le fabricăm și a durat ceva timp să răspund fiecărui în parte lămuririle de rigoare. Am concluzionat că oamenii citesc pe Internet ca-n clasorul de timbre, răsfoiesc imagini și anulează existența textului.

Masa Spider fabricată de noi este modelul de mai jos. Îl producem pe o plaja largă de dimensiuni cu diametrele cuprinse între 90 si 180 de cm. La fiecare 20 de cm în diametru adăugați mesei rotunde se incrementează numărul de locuri de la masă cu 1, pornind de la 4 locuri. Recomand de câte ori pot alegerea variantei cu blat pătrat, însă nu sunt luat în seamă prea frecvent. Și aici am văzut că doar eu sunt orientat către ergonomie și utilitate înaintea esteticii. Mesele rotunde pur și simplu primează în alegerea generală.

Avem chiar o piesă, cu diametru de 150 de cm, finisată Antik Grey, dintre piesele orfane care își caută proprietarul, și care poate fi livrată în termen relativ scurt, în caz că se decide cineva rapid.

Pe de altă parte, doar exemplificativ, am găsit o multitudine de imagini cu titlul insectei care are exoscheletul ce inspiră atât de fecund. Dacă îi ceri la Google imagini cu titlul Spider Table vei rămâne uimit privind diversitatea. Cam așa arată diversitatea ce mi-a atras mie atenția, modele vechi și noi, mobila antică sau contemporană.

Designul rustic industrial se împacă tare bine cu exoscheletul unui paianjen, iar după umila mea părere poți vedea ușor o insecta cu picioare în orice masă care nu are poziționate picioarele clasic pe colțuri ori picior central pilon. Sunt exerciții de design sau piese funcționale, personificări sau simbolizări, totul se reduce la frumusețea din ochiul privitorului. Frumusețea este relativă, dar și hidoșenia. Poate cumpătarea este calea de mijloc pe care ar trebui să o alegem.
