thank you!! yeah i actually have 2 nextgens and the one i’m working on right now isn’t even my “main” one which is mostly canon-compliant (you know. as much as it can be… i love changing things)

Short Concept

Pairing: Romantic/Platonic

Possible Trigger Warnings: Gender-Neutral Darling, Obsession, Jealousy, Slight isolation, Slight possessive behavior, Manipulation, Insecurity.

Rainbow Dash would probably think a hippogriff darling is so cool.

Due to you being a hippogriff, you have two forms.

For aquatic travel, you have your seapony form.

Although, most of the time you're in your normal form.

Rainbow Dash likes both forms, but prefers you as your normal one.

That's because with wings you can visit her in her home!

Rainbow also likes challenging you to races.

It's her form of bonding even if you aren't good at it.

She could've met you during the time of the movie to really start getting attached.

She first encountered you as a seapony and grew to enjoy your curious yet welcoming nature.

Rainbow already enjoyed your personality when you were so playful towards her despite what your queen warned you about outsiders.

She even had more respect for you when you came with Princess Skystar to help battle Storm King.

Rainbow has loyalty towards those she cares about no matter what.

If you're her darling, she's extremely dedicated.

She's an amazing pony to be around and even with her competitive/mischevious behavior, you enjoy her company.

Since you're mostly in your true form, Rainbow is overjoyed when you visit her home in Cloudsdale.

You spend most of your time there.

You tried to question her on why she doesn't hang out with you and her friends... she sort of brushed off the question.

"Well... I just think we get along better alone, y'know? I can show you my posters and trophies! We can even race together-!"

Rainbow doesn't like to admit it, but she gets jealous when you hang around others not her.

While she's loyal and trusting towards her friends... she is a bit scared she won't be the closest pony towards you.

Rainbow is also naturally competitive, she feels she has to compete with others for your attention.

A competition she's determined to win.

Rainbow is a yandere who enjoys attention on her.

When it comes to her obsession, she does whatever she can to keep your eyes on her.

Other yanderes of the mane six do this too, like Rarity and Pinkie Pie.

Rainbow is always trying to spend time with just you and wants to share all her favorite things to do with you.

When you visit, she pulls out the Daring Do books.

She also sets up little harmless pranks to get a reaction out of you.

Nothing cruel, just harmless fun.

Rainbow cares too much to hurt you!

Admittedly, Rainbow is insecure about her obsession.

She wants to be the best for you and wants you to see her as a good friend.

Maybe more, although she hasn't entirely figured out just how far these feelings she has towards you go yet.

She trusts you and wants you to trust her.

Rainbow usually tries to hide her more feminine behavior around her friends, although it slips out when with you.

This can be said for any darling, but Rainbow feels she can truly just be herself when with you.

She waits for you to fly to her home eagerly whenever she invites you to visit.

She's sitting excitedly by her door, wings threatening to beat while she waits for you.

It... distresses her when you don't visit and say nothing.

To the point the pegasus would go looking for you to see just where you went.

"Hey...? We were supposed to hang out today? What's up?"

Rainbow is the same with any darling, always trying to obtain your attention and competing with others to get it.

It's just with a hippogriff darling, she can hang out with you not only on land and in air...

But in the sea, too.

When you don't wish to visit her home, she comes to you looking for something to do.

She loves it when you put a wing around her and introduce her to other hippogriffs.

It feeds into Rainbow's obsession.

She feels reassured when you do one simple gesture... it shows how close you are.

If you two are close enough to put wings over each other, it must get the message across that you're for each other, right?

Also, Rainbow is one for flying... yet swimming with you?

She loves it just as much!

You're so fast when you swim just like when you fly!

Rainbow also just likes to playfully tackle you in the water, similar to Pinkie.

She has so much fun with you, her hippogriff.

No matter on land, air, or sea... she always manages to have the best time with you.

Can you really blame her for being jealous when you spend this time with others?

In Rainbow's mind, you two are the closest.

She's just making sure you're loyal to her by sabotaging your friendships with others, right?

She does stand for loyalty.

Don't be so sad! Rainbow's here to make the pain of heart break go away.

Is there anything you want to say about your ships with pinkie pie, such as pinkie pie x luna pinkie pie x skystar x cheese sandwich etc;?

Sure, I love explaining my ships! CheesePie was one of the first ships I ever really got into if I remember correctly; I loved their dynamic a lot like everyone in the fandom. I still do like the ship, but since everyone ships CheesePie now, I like to explore different dynamics between them! For example, Cheese and Pinkie are co-parents, best friends, and self-professed "friends-in-law" (with Cheese being married to one of Pinkie's friends) in the Auraverse, and in the Thirdverse they are siblings-in-law.

I am also increasingly fond of CheesePieDash as a throuple as I have mentioned a couple times before. Imagine the Pinkie Pride episode but with romantic subtext, Pinkie and Cheese both competing for Dash's affections /j I like how they all have a sense of humor, but in different ways (Dash and Pinkie's pranks vs. Pinkie and Cheese's parties) and different ways they may be able to ground each other when needed.

Pinkie x Skystar is another one I like, ofc, they're quite similar but without acting like they're the same person like Pinkie and Cheese may sometimes appear to be. In the Auraverse I have enjoyed exploring their flaws and how they can introduce conflict to the dynamic without making them an unhealthy couple. I like Pinkie x Cheese x Skystar as a poly, as I have seen in a number of next gens, but for the purposes of how I write them I prefer Cheese merely being friends with the two of them. CheesePieDash always has my heart.

LunaTempestPie came about because I was torn between Pinkie x Tempest and Tempest x Luna for the Thirdverse. I love Pinkie being a light for her two gloomy wives, and Tempest and Luna finding comfort in each other after both of their troubled pasts. It's also a Pinkie poly I have never seen before! I can't wait to explore their dynamic more in the Thirdverse!

Valorverse - Lady Amalthea

Once again, no self control so posting this today LOL This is Lady Amalthea, the daughter of Princess Celestia and Starswirl the Bearded. You can read about how she came to be here: She earned her cutie mark creating a constellation in the sky.  When she was younger, she hated the attention she got for being Celestia's daughter. She just wanted a normal life without all the special attention and treatment. She also felt a lot of ponies judged her for being a bastard child. Starswirl got a LOT of flack after everyone realized he had gotten his own student pregnant and that didn't help at all. This caused Starswirl to leave their hometown and travel, trying to keep in touch with Celestia. He eventually settled and was able to officially trade her off with Celestia like they both wanted to.  Amalthea was the apple of Starswirl's eye, and he did his best to keep her happy and healthy, though he never expected what would happen to her in the next few years. When she was a teen, she contracted Polio. It completely stunted the growth in one of her legs and eventually paralyzed the other into her adulthood. The complications of the disease and having to spend so much time in a hospital gave her PTSD, and a lot of Soft foods trigger her. (Think soup, jello) because of how many surgeries she had to have to salvage her leg. (Which in the end didn't even work. She also knew she was looked at weird because of her disability. Resentment and anger fostered in her towards the ponies of Equestria. When she was younger, Celestia and Starswirl really didn't get along that much. While they were mostly civil, there would be fights between them every once in a blue moon when they went to go drop her off to the other parent's house.  As they all got older though, they eventually became a really tight knit family even though Starswirl and Celestia stayed separate. The Polio incident really brought them together. That was until Celestia married Prince Sombra. This really affected her relationship with Celestia. She no longer saw the strong, intelligent leader she had thought she was, and saw a selfish, flawed pony that only wanted what she wanted.  They got into many fights about Sombra and the affect he had on their world, and while Celestia did try to defend herself, she couldn't help but realize how selfish she was being for it, and eventually would just yell at her to stop and not talk to her the way she was. That she was flawed too and made a mistake. She and Sombra never really got along all that well because of it, even though he tried his best to be nice to her.  One day, they got into a particularly heated argument that ended up with her moving out and not talking to Celestia for YEARS. Celestia renounced her title as the heir to her throne as well, causing extreme grief and distress in her. She left for a while, living on her own and becoming more and more of a hermit, though never correcting people when they called her Princess or anything like that. She tried to keep in contact with her father, but started calling less and less. he was very quiet, only speaking when she felt necessary, and almost always came off as angry, irate, or crabby on a good day. She eventually started missing her mom so much she went to go see her again and met Mahina, Celestia's son with Sombra. This made her even more angry than she was before they broke off last time, and she decided she had done the right thing by leaving. She then left back to her home, thinking she'd never talk to them again. Eventually though, her loneliness got the best of her and she came back again. Celestia welcomed her with open arms into her family, and she moved back into the castle with them. While she was on speaking terms with her mother, things never really were good with Mahina. She knew he had the title as the heir and that wouldn't change at this point, and she was still resentful about the situation between Celestia and Sombra, as the effects it had on Equestria and the world were getting worse and worse.   She treated him horribly. Mahina did his best to earn the admiration and love he wanted from his sister but it never happened. While they did have moments where they got along, it was mostly anger and resentment from Amalthea. Sometimes she even would get angry enough to hit him, but those were very rare and inbetween.  Celestia and Starswirl both tried to help her as much as they could but never really could. She officially changed her title to "Lady" as Mahina got older, not wanting to be referred to as Princess Anymore. (as it brings bad memories) She doesn't necessarily want to let go of the fact that she's royalty but didn't want to be referred to as such. THIS GOT A LONG LONGER THAN EXPECTED WHOOPS. I just traced the ittle doodle I did of her a while back but I still love her lol. She was graciously given to me by chickendoodles0up a while back, and I think I tagged them on the first pic I doodled but oh well LOL.
