Total word count: 176397(Wow! 176K! That’s a lot more than I thought I would have. I was thinking, maybe 100K)

How often do you write: Not often, actually, I tend to think of something, outline it on evernote on my phone. And go back and forth on it in my head for days, weeks, a few times even months. And then sit down and spit it out in a few sessions. Then it’s edit, add, nip a few things, think again, leave it for a few days, edit again. Rinse and repeat. Big bangs have been a different experience, however I can only write often if I already know where I’m going with the story, if I don’t, there’s a lot of tangents I can follow... and I’ll try to follow them all.

Do you have a routine for writing? Apply seat of the pants to the seat of the chair. Turn TV or music on for white noise. Figure out which way I’m going. Write. Lots of water, tea and coffee within reach so I don’t have to get up every ten minutes. Same with tissues. Allergies, man!

What’s your favourite kinks/tropes/pairing?

Kinks: None. I don’t like sexual stuff. My biggest sexual writings are people who are ABOUT to and then don’t =P

Tropes: Undercover, having to pretend to be a couple. Mutual pining. Actually, I’ll read anything with a happy ending, especially if it’s got lots of fluff in it :)

Do you have a favorite fic of yours?: Boy Scouts of America & Ke Kani O Ke Loli (The Sound of Change)

Your fic with the most kudos?: Ke Kani O Ke Loli (The Sound of Change)

Anything you don’t like about your writing? Lots of things! I ramble a lot, which ends up with hundreds if not thousands of words being cut on the first edits. Can’t tell in and on apart. I can’t write mysteries even if my life depended on it. I’m a slow writer; if I push myself I can get maybe 500 words each time I sit down. I’m slow in general, so my fics tend to be slow as well, nothing happens for a long while after the quick introduction into the world, and then, because I got tired of writing, everything happens at once. I have an extensive vocabulary that only comes out to play when I’m annoyed or steam-out-of-my-ears level of angry, so sometimes I sit staring at a wall trying to remember the name of a thing, or an emotion, inanylanguage--pleasebrain--workdammit! for ten minutes before I give up and have to go to google images and look for “dog jumping up and down smile on his face” and eventually the images trigger the group of words I’m looking for, happy, joy, euphoric, content, etc. Sometimes my writing gets too complicated, I tend to write in layers and I keep adding to them as I go along, and at some point I have to start scraping layers, because I realise I’m gonna give my readers a headache, funnily enough, I talk like that too, three or four times at once, and only people that know me from school can follow my train of thought. I have to be careful not to do that when I work. It’s harder to do it in writing, because it’s slower than talking, but it happens sometimes. There’s more stuff I don’t like, but I think this paragraph is scary long enough.

Now something you do like! I don’t know... that I write the kind of fics I want to read? I don’t know. That there often is a lot of fluff?
