there's a verse that some writers have created (i wish i could give credit, but this has been around for AGES, like i first read this as a sterek fic back in like 2016) that's super similar in concept to the omegaverse, but instead of alpha/beta/omega dynamics, people are either doms/subs/switches (but same general idea). it's also a biological imperative the way omega stuff is.

(it's so fucking insane that i've been online long enough to know all this. i could've studied medicine.)

anyway, i LOVE this au, but i've never written anything for it, but im ddyyyinnnggg to write a ghostsoap fic where ghost is a Dom and soap is a Sub, and their relationship is very very toxic and ghost does a lot of stuff that would be considered absolutely horrendous bdsm practices like 🚩🚩🚩 forcing soap into a subdrop or collaring soap before he's ready 🚩🚩🚩 (i am putting so many red flags so u understand that im aware this is bad) because that's my favourite ghostsoap dynamic.
