10, 13, and 20 for the ask game 🌼
10. How would you describe the way you play the sims?
I’ve been actively working on this, honestly. Up until recently, I’ve played very centrally and very chaotically- the focus was only on one family, I was easily distracted and easily bored. Since focusing on my bacc story, I’ve been working on rotating households while not missing anything, as well as keeping interesting. I would describe my gameplay now as more focused: I’m searching out opportunities for good screenshots and good storylines, as well as keeping a chart for when everyone should be aging up.
13. How long have you been playing the Sims and how did you get into it?
I’ve been playing for about... fifteen years? My youngest sibling got the sims 2 for a birthday I believe, and then it was a daily battle on who got what amount of time at the computer, with the other two siblings often hanging out right at their elbow so everyone could see what they were doing with their game. I was around 13.
20. What is your least favorite sim age?
Not a big fan of adult and elder, though I’m trying to work on it! Honestly for a while the only stage that I liked was young adult. I cut out the baby stage by using the height slider to make little toddlers for the ‘baby’ stage, and getting to see them grow up made me like ‘babies’ and toddlers a lot more. I used to hate child age sims, but having two who i’m watching grow up and interact from different households has made that a lot more enjoyable for me. I’m hoping that seeing my sims age up to Adult and Elder will allow me to bond with them more in these different stages, giving them different goals in life and different things to strive for. This goes hand in hand with me trying to focus more on the game.
thanks for the ask, @minty-plumbob!!
