I had to make the little blorbo a reality

There really is no feeling quite like discovering a new song that fits your blorbo to a T. Best I can do to convey it is something like

I have not forgotten the quilt beetle and still want to make it but it requires more brain power than I have to spare at the moment, I'll give it another few days lol

Learning to sew with Humphrey

I did half machine & half hand sewing.

Felicity, the spider I made a few months ago from my own pattern, (right) and her younger sister (left, and the pic up top).

I realized I had way understuffed Felicity so her younger sister's much more plush and cuddly. Felicity looks fine in the pics but she would flatten out a lot after only a bit of snuggling. TvT But I still loves her dearly of course!

I also sewed the legs on after stuffing the body this time, and that got better results. It does result in a much more time consuming project, and overall the pattern is not super easy to make despite the overall shape looking pretty simple. So there's still room for improvement, but I think I'm going to go back to making patterns made by people who know what they're doing, and studying from those for a bit. ^^
