Bulbasaur 🎨 KEEP READING! I want to give an update on a certain thing. First of all I'm really thankful for everyone who followed, comments and likes my work! Each year I find myself in a state where I'm kind of getting sick of digital art, like I'm a bit uncreative, the work isn't as good but then I crave very badly for other forms of art. Lately is has been work like this. I really badly want to fill my sketchbook with these kind of drawings. Not only with Pokémon, I want to expand my traditional horizon to hopefully bring back a few things that I can apply on my digital work. Sketching on paper is just really fun to do lately. Many have asked me how I go about drawing traditional pieces, as my digital workflow is well documented. I usually start with a basic sketch on a basic sheet of paper. If I like it I take out a bit of thicker, more suitable piece for markers, put them both on a 8€ Lighttable and transfer the linework to the better piece of paper. I used to directly sketch on that sheet but heavy erasing tends to not look as nice in the final artwork, also I then have the sketch for multiple uses, if I ever wanted to make a new take or start over. After all that it's pretty straight forward as the video shows. If you have any sort of questions ask them now!
