Behold my latest creation: the Shrek poncho. A Shroncho if you will.
I found the Shrek fabric at a thrift and was inspired by another quilted poncho I'd seen. It's pretty hot where I live most of the year, so I kept it light weight so as to be more comfortable for the local climate.
Pretty proud of how it turned out, makes me look like a Shrek wizard lmao.

In the Magia Record discord there is a little art contest for fanmade original magireco alts- here is my entry!! My fav character, Mito, and referencing both her shamrock motif and everybodys fav memoria (Mito Rain); so i gave her a cute little rainy day poncho outfit where she attacks with a rainy shamrock umbrella!
I hope it came out good, Im kinda proud of the posing ^v^ ~☆

Donají, poncho vs quechquemitl
Did this for Codex Black's book 2. Donají's iconic garment is actually a quechquemitl, but I explain there why I use the word "poncho" instead.
This was a February P*treon reward!
The quechquemitl is the traditional one from the Huastec region, where this garment is believed to have originated. Meanwhile, the poncho is based on the traditional one from Cuzco, Perú.
