i spent over 500 hours recording my conversations this decade... maybe we crave conversation intimacy so much we settle to eavesdrop on the recorded conversations of others? as many hours i spent recording my own podcast(s) i’ve spent triple that listening. in moments of loneliness or solitude, knowing i have pals in my pocket to keep me company is comforting. my hope is that @letitouttt is the pocket pal shows have been for me... end of decade gratitude for those podcasts: the two that taught me how i wanted mine to feel in 2013 when i started: @peteholmes and @marcmaron • my podcasting pals who make such import podcasts & are fantastic people: @chr1styharrison and @jessicamurnane • the new one in 2019 that cheers me up & reminded me that conversation is good: @justinlong • and an old favorite: @poprocketpodcast (rip) • & my favorite new podcaster of the year goes to: @serenagwolf (!!) this quote is from an adam sternbergh article in @vulture i really loved this year. here’s to another decade of recording ourselves and sharing it.
