When time comes to keep limbs warm, I’ll wear my wool mittens made of pure Bergschaf wool. They take about 4 hours to wet felt; 3-4 days to fully dry; and then an hour to felt on a design. As for mimosa flowers, my childhood memory of them was remembering mimosas as the first flowers emerging in stores in the winter. It was a beautiful sight seeing the tiny bright yellow fluffy balls against the white landscape. I’ll have just one pair of these with me at the Portland Fine Craft Show tomorrow. Black crows have strong symbolic and spiritual meanings from different places, religions, and cultures. They symbolize prophecy, transformation, change, freedom, and growth. Once in a while I’m asked what my favorite thing to felt might be. I don’t give this much thought as each piece provides a different experience, and I like making all of my felties. Though I must admit that lately I’m really having fun with felting pies and bread because I can even fool my family into believing it’s real when looking at it from a few feet away. 😉 and to unicorn fans - I LOVE making unicorns. Each comes out slightly different with its own personality, and oftentimes with various color hues for mane. 🦄 Меня часто спрашивают, что мне нравится больше всего валять. Я про это часто не задумываюсь, потому что процесс всегда разный, даже если вещички повторяются. Но в последнее время я сильно увлеклась валянием хлебных изделий и пирогов.
