That pre-World Champs altitude swim session with Lucy Charles Barclay in Cedar City. : And the first session I got to try out my new @liquideyewaterhousings underwater housing for the Canon R3 (& RF15-35) : I managed to grab a few stills in between shooting video content for the Ironman race series ‘A Fighting Chance’ (on YouTube). : It was hard enough holding my breath underwater for any length of time, due to the pool being at altitude in Cedar City, but the hardest part was to keep the housing underwater long enough being so buoyant with the air trapped inside it. It’s also why I’m wearing a rash vest to try and make myself as less buoyant as possible. : The following session I rented dive weights, 4lbs attached to the housing and 4lbs attached to my waist. 4lbs (1.8kg). Just an epic few days spent here in the stunning mountains of @zellamseekaprun .. shooting the latest episodes of A Fighting Chance for @ironmantri .. : @ironman_austria have put on a huge race, with 60+ pro men and 40+ pro women. With the like of @sebastiankienle @triff97 @andi_dreitz - on his injury come back race and defending champ @stratmannjan looking to retain his title.. Props to my two amigos @tillschenklive and James @noble_cyclesgirona .... taking on the vEveresting Challenge on @gozwift Alpe du Zwift course. Starting this morning at 6.20am (Sun 3rd May) , they aim for a finish time of between 12hr & 12hr30. . . To finish the challenge it involves 8848m of climbing or 8.5 times up and down Alpe du Zwift.. . .
