Spectreon 2023

Okay another one of my themed eeveelution fakemon of mine getting a bit of a design update

Name: Spectreon Type: Ghost / Fire Ability: Intimidate / Flash Fire Hidden Ability: Aftermath Classification: Fire Fox Fakémon Dex Entry: A mysterious Fakemon, some believe to be the lost soul of an Eevee that died searching for its missing trainer, coming back to life as a ghost to continue its search, while others believe its a vengeful spirit that is continuing to hunt for their trainer that left them behind wanting to enact its revenge on them.

I imagine that this would be another story event that the Pokemon Professor sends the player character to investigate, as again they can't do it themselves, but trust with your skills that you can track down this unknown Pokemon appearing in an isolated snowy mountain area.

The character would arrive at a wooden cabin that Pokemon Ranger's have been using and have agree to let you stay at while investigating the most recent claimed sighting.

Some Ranger's are friendly and other's aren't, there seems to be an odd tension in the air, and they don't seem to want your character their at all, dismissing the sight's and believe it's most likely misidentified Pokemon.

A snow storm is slowly forming but not yet preventing the player character from exploring the area.

You are guided to the area by one of the Ranger's, you get to battle, take photo's of Pokemon and tracks, all the while feeling like you are being watched and just as it looks like you might see something, the Ranger comes back, saying we need to leave as the storm is getting worse and you don't want to be caught out here in a blizzard.

Your return the base cabin and the other Ranger are their apart from one, but they believe they'll be back soon.

Player characters eats dinner and head's to bed, but in the morning you hear that the missing Ranger didn't return last night and how the storm is too dangerous to go out and find them.

But one Ranger refuses to stay and heads out to find their teammate anyway.

Your character is prevented from leaving the cabin.

But you can ease drop on the radio that the rest are using to communicate with the Ranger who went out.

Though soon the Pokemon Ranger say he's found the missing ranger gear and it looks like they must have been attacked or encountered something, they see some caves nearby he's going to check if they have gone their, but when he reaches the cave, he says he see's something before suddenly being cut off, the line goes dead and the rest of the ranger's are now super concerned.

More stuff happened, they try to call for help but suddenly their radio isn't working, the power goes out things, are just getting worse and one by one the other Pokemon rangers are starting to go missing and those that remain are starting to point fingers at each other.

Every time someone goes missing Spectreon show's up soon after.

Its eventually revealed that a Pokemon Ranger and their Eevee partner went missing some time ago, and its due to negligence of the team that they might had died out in the wilderness, and its believe that this Spectreon is seeking revenge for it and it's partner death.

In a surprise twist one of the last Pokemon Rangers is revealed to be a Team Rocket Grunt in disguise and captures the player character along with the last ranger and takes them to the Team Rocket hidden base where the other missing rangers and Pokemon can be found.

They have been digging in these ice caves for mysterious ore and rare fossil Pokemon.

The Pokemon ranger that had gone missing with their eevee turns out to have been someone working for the International Police, and had been undercover trying to locate this Team Rocket base and unfortunately got caught, but their eevee manged to escape, thanks to interacting with the mysterious ore and transforming it into Spectreon and has been trying to get people to follow it to help it's trainer.

Crazy stuff starts to happen as the ore mysterious properties starts animating the dead fossil Pokemon and now their are walking skeletons about attacking people

You and the International Police person, team up to help the Rangers and some Team Rocket Grunts escape the base as the animated fossils continue to rampage.

Obviously your escape, after one final boss battle with a Skeleton Pokemon that is a fusion of several fossil Pokemon. Team Rocket grunts are captured, the Ranger admit some of their wrong doing and you get to keep a small piece of the mysterious ore that you can use on your own eevee to turn it into a Spectreon.

🎯 -What do they do best?

Keet: She would like the answer to be "fighting," because she feels that that is her only real utility, but given that once again she was kicked (temporarily) out of officer training she can't really make that claim yet. She is actually excellent at singing and doing shit like, fucking, memorizing entire epics and learning languages on the fly, but these skills come so naturally to her that she almost doesn't feel like they count.

Yonder: Answered!

Aisling: Connecting with animals. She gravitates toward them, they gravitate toward her, she has a lot of practice reading them and is naturally empathetic toward them. If she only ever had animals (and Cassius) to interact with for the rest of her life, she'd be more than happy. She's also a very good dancer, albeit out of practice and without the stamina she used to have.

Onyx: Oh......probably screaming like an absolute madman to intimidate anyone and anything around them lol.

🍀 What originally inspired the OC?

Keet: So, the current version of Keet is actually not the first one to exist. She was originally created for a different game, specifically using the Dungeon World system, and was not a selkie but a different kind of merfolk shapeshifter at the time--specifically a Scottish creature called a ceasg. Long story short, my GM at the time (hi Gray!) and I made a homebrew race that was effectively immortal, with the caveat that coming back from the dead cost the individual their memories. Everything else rose from there.

Yonder: I'm gonna keep it real with you, at the time I really wanted to make a character based on the song "Rainmaker" by Bruce Springsteen vksdjbdljvbslb. Also, yk, religious trauma and eco-anxiety, as ever.

Aisling: Listen. Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron (2002) rocked my shit when I was 8 years old and I have not gotten over it since. I will not elaborate (except in DMs if you want lmao).

Onyx: Another character originally from a Dungeon World oneshot! In DW, druids have powers based on the specific type of biome to which they are connected (a bit like non-revised rangers in D&D), and one of the biome options that you can pick is the Stinking Mire. I interpreted this to be a tar pit, gave them as much fossil theming as my heart desired (a lot), and off I went.

🍩 Who is your OC’s arch-nemesis or rival?

Keet: I'm not sure she has any specific individual that she considers to be like, a personal enemy, with the exception of one of the members of the cult the gang has been fighting. This is because said cult member murdered her friend Alcaeus quite gruesomely and in a way that was pretty traumatic for her. (They Raised Dead on him though he's fine now lmao.) She does have a friendly rivalry with someone back home as well.

Yonder: They are going to rip the Raven Queen a new asshole if it's quite literally the last thing they ever do.

Aisling: I haven't quite fleshed out who this person is yet but one of the wardens in particular.

Onyx: There was a faction of people who betrayed them and framed them for regicide, many of whom were fellow nights whom they trusted or admired previously, and they all had their shit wrecked when Onyx fulfilled their insane vengeance quest.

I have a fucking cool Idea:

Hsien-Ko training the gifted Homo-Librium into powerful warriors of the shao empire known as Kyoryugers! The power rangers of this little universe, the seven of these new homo-Librium are born from Hsien-Ko's gold blood that must have contaminated a fossil site full of dinosaur fossils and colorful gems within genosha and just like that the seven are born having their own distinct and unique personality and within them each of them have a skeletal part of different types of dinosaurs that have been stuck within their bodies thus using the spirit of that said dinosaur to beef them up and start kicking some darkstalker ass! Unlike the others of their kind, they don't possessed psychic abilities but the do possessed dinosaur traits hidden in their crystalline bodies all along with the dinosaurs souls for power.

Power Rangers Fossil Spirits

Many millennia ago in a golden land a race of humanoid animals lived side by side with the dinosaurs. They lived in peace, this peace was shattered by the arrival of an alien being. It was called DeVoid and it attacked all life on Earth. Its army was made from its very cells, the monsters called Amerms (amoeba + germs) laid waste to the land. However one of the beings (a bird-man) and a small group of dinosaurs managed to fight DeVoid and force him into the ice where he was frozen. However the battle took its toll on the warrior and so the being named Talon was forced to remain in the golden land sustained by the power of the dinosaurs or he would perish. Over the following eons small groups of DeVoid monsters would rise forcing Talon to recruit the bravest and strongest people to fight them. These chosen few would have to prove their worth by battling one of the very dinosaurs that defeated DeVoid. Those who did so were granted the power to fight the enemy, however all were thought to perish in battle. Many recent changes (including climate change) have allowed more and more of DeVoid to defrost and attack the world. Talon selects five of the bravest and strongest people on Earth to once more take up the fight. They are the Power Rangers Fossil Spirits!

“DINO BURST!” “HEAR OUR ROAR!” *roll call* “WITH THE POWER OF THE DINOSAURS! POWER RANGERS FOSSIL SPIRITS!”

Red Fossil Ranger- “The Fanged Warrior”- Daisuke Himura Age: 24 Personality/Bio: Daisuke was born in Japan, but has lived a nomadic life since childhood. His parents told him to follow his heart in order to find his destiny, and he’s been following their advice ever since. On his travels, he’s traveled all over the world, learning and growing along the way. While on a tropical island, he was approached by a being named Talon, and offered the chance to become the Red Fossil Ranger through a fight with the Rex Fossil Zord. Daisuke accepted Talon’s offer, though it took him a month to defeat the Rex Fossil Zord. Daisuke is very headstrong and excitable, and is always the first to run into battle. Face Claim: Daniel Henney

Black Fossil Ranger- “The Sharpshooting Warrior”- Geoff Rizzo Age: 28 Personality/Bio: Born in Italy, Geoff is a self-proclaimed ladies’ man and a proficient sharpshooter. Geoff is also a well-renowned archeologist, so when he and his best friend Shawn were at a dig in Germany, they made an amazing find. However, tragedy soon struck as their site was attacked and Shawn was killed, their find stolen. Talon appeared to Geoff, saving his life, and offered him the chance to become the Black Fossil Ranger. Geoff battled against the Para Fossil Zord and was accepted as the Black Fossil Ranger. Face Claim: Gabriel Garko

Blue Fossil Ranger- “The Shielded Warrior”- Tarak Zaman Age: 35 Personality/Bio: Tarak originally hails from India. He was pursuing a career as a stand-up comedian when his brother-in-law was killed on the job while he worked odd jobs. Tarak abandoned his stand-up career to take over his brother-in-law’s job in order to support his sister and niece. During the DeVoid attack, Tarak rushed into defend his sister and niece. Talon noticed and offered Tarak the chance to continue defending them, and the world, as the Blue Fossil Ranger. He was taken to Russia to defeat the Stego Fossil Zord for the chance at becoming the Blue Fossil Ranger, and Tarak more than proved his worth to his new Zord. Tarak, still a comedian at heart, never misses the chance to break out a bad pun or two to lighten a tense or bad mood. Face Claim: Kal Penn

Green Fossil Ranger- “The Bladed Warrior”- Ernesto Gabriel Reyes Cruz Age: 18 Personality/Bio: Ernesto is a young man who was born in Mexico. Desperate for his father’s approval, Ernesto eventually forged his own path. During his first year of college, he joined the Martial Arts club and attended a club trip to China. He was caught up in the DeVoid attack and Talon appeared to him, explaining that if he battled and defeated the Raptor Fossil Zord, he would earn the chance to become the Green Fossil Ranger. Ernesto accepted and defeated the Raptor Fossil Zord, becoming the Green Fossil Ranger. He is the youngest of the team, skilled in martial arts and swordsmanship, and very serious. Underneath his serious exterior, he is still a young teenaged man with a lot of life left to live and a fun-loving demeanor. Face Claim: Ryan Guzman

Pink Fossil Ranger- “The Horned Warrior”- Alice Kayode Age: 21 Personality/Bio: Alice is a young woman who was born to a wealthy family in Africa. Strong and independent, she doesn’t allow her wealth and status to dictate how she views life, let alone how she lives it. While on vacation at the Grand Canyon, she witnessed the DeVoid attack. Talon appeared, offering her the chance to become the Pink Fossil Ranger by defeating the Tricera Fossil Zord and proving her worth. Alice took Talon’s offer and was able to earn the respect of the Tricera Fossil Zord, becoming the Pink Fossil Ranger. Face Claim: Camille Hyde

Gold Fossil Ranger- “The Winged Warrior”- Hikari Miyamoto Age: 27 Personality/Bio: Hikari is a young woman who was raised during the Sengoku (Warring States) period of Japan. She proved herself, and her abilities, to the Shogun and was trained in the arts of the samurai. When the DeVoid Army rose up and attacked, Talon came to the Shogun for help in defeating it. Talon sensed the bravery and strength within Hikari and offered her the chance at becoming the Gold Fossil Ranger. As with the other Rangers, Hikari needed to prove herself in battle against the Ptera Fossil Zord in order to earn the right to be its Ranger. She used her skills she honed as a samurai to prove herself to the Ptera Fossil Zord and became the Gold Fossil Ranger. Unfortunately, during a battle, the Shogun took a fatal blow meant for Hikari. On his deathbed, he told Hikari that her greatest weakness in battle was her kindness. The DeVoid Army was able to capture Talon, and in a fit of rage, Hikari attacked them and was later thought to have been killed. Instead of being killed, she was absorbed into the living armor, Ograge, and was used as a life source. In the modern day, she was eventually freed by the Fossil Rangers and now fights alongside them in their battles against the DeVoid Army. Face Claim: Brenda Song

Cyan Fossil Ranger- “The Steel Warrior”- Sir Richard Age: Appears to be mid to late 40s Personality/Bio: A knight in the late Middle Ages Sir Richard protected the innocent from the Amerms and encountered Talon on the battle field, mistaking him for a demon he almost attacked before Talon explained the situation, Talon then gave him the chance to fight the Ankylo Fossil Zord and become the Cyan Ranger, tragically Sir Richard fell in battle. However his spirit returned and rested in the cavern of Ankylo and he came back to grant the modern team use of the Ankylo Zord. Face Claim: Robert Baldwin

Grey Fossil Ranger- “The Balanced Warrior”- Wei Age: Appears to be early 30s Personality/Bio: A monk in the Ming Dynasty Wei fought back against the Amerms and came across Talon. Talon gave the young monk the chance to fight the Pachy Fossil Zord and become the Grey Ranger. Tragically he fell in battle however his spirit returned and meditated behind a waterfall alongside his zord until the modern team needed his aid. Face Claim: Joe Cheng

Purple Fossil Ranger- “The Aquatic Warrior”- Veronica Rosecroft/ Violet Smithers Age: 27 Personality/Bio: In the early 1900s a young Australian woman named Veronica found herself surrounded by a group of Amerms however she outsmarted and outfought the fiends and Talon found her and gave her the chance to fight the Pleso Fossil Zord. As the Purple Ranger she fought well and lived to start a family before time claimed her. Her spirit returned to grant her descendant Violet the Pleso Zord. Violet had heard about her ancestor many times growing up and never thought that she could live up to her. A marine biologist she feels out of place on the battle field. Face Claim: Margot Robbie

Silver Fossil Ranger- “The Shining Warrior”- Cheveyo Age: Appeares to be mid 30s Personality/Bio: The son of a settler (one of the few who thought of the natives as equals) and a Native American, Cheveyo belonged to both worlds and yet was welcomed in neither. When the DeVoid attacked once more he used his shooting skills to save the lives of both natives and settlers. His skill and bravery impressed Talon enough to earn the chance to fight the Brachio Fossil Zord and become the Silver Fossil Ranger. Sadly he fell in battle protecting the innocent but his spirit returned and assisted the modern team in battle and gave them the Brachio Zord. Face Claim: Jay Tavare Fosels (Fossil + Cell) these devices are what contain the power of the Fossil Zords. The living Rangers use their blasters (Hikari uses her gauntlet) to activate their power and morph while the spirits can tap into the power directly. Fossilzers- The personal weapons of the team Dino Weapons- The unique weapons the modern team wield Rex Fang Para Shot Stego Shield Raptor Claw Tricera Drill These five unite to form the Fossil Spear Many other dinosaurs aided Talon in his battle but they fell during the final battle and so granted Talon their powers in Fosels. DinoBike- Two brothers who form the cycles for the team DinoClaw- A claw/drill combo weapon Styra- Overwhelms the target with love Allo- Creates an immense flame Seismo- Allows the user to stretch their limbs Ovira- Creates a gas cloud Iguano- Stuns the enemy with tickling Ammono- Induces vertigo and nausea in the target Arch- Increases gravity in a small area Fuku- Causes the target to inflate Futaba- Clones the target Fossil Zords- The ten dinosaurs that fought alongside Talon against DeVoid were remade as zords. When Rex, Stego, and Tricera unite they form the Fossil Megazord when Rex, Para, and Raptor unite they form the SharpShot Fossil Megazord Ptera can form the Lightning Fossil Megazord on its own and with Para and Raptor forms the SharpShot Lightning Megazord When Rex, Stego, Tricera, and Ptera unite they form the Thunder Fossil Megazord When Rex, Ankylo and Tricera unite they form the Steel Fossil Megazord When Rex, Ankylo and Pachy unite they form the Balanced Fossil Megazord Pleso can form the Pleso Megazord on its own When Pleso, Rex, and Pachy unite they form the Pleso Rex Megazord Brachio on its own forms the Brachio Megazord and when united with the others forms the Fossil Ultrazord DeVoid An alien being that travels from world to world laying waste and destroying all life. However after its defeat at the hands of the dinosaurs it was frozen for millenia. Its minions and army have revived many times over the eons and each time they do they try and gather human emotions to defrost the heart of DeVoid. Each time so far they were stopped but only due to the sacrifice of a ranger. Chaon- The leader of the army in DeVoids absence, a great and wicked mage his plans can span centuries Ograge- The Demon of Anger- The minion in charge of collecting the anger of humanity. For centuries Hikari was trapped within his armor in a plan to gain control of the Petra Zord. However with the aid of the modern team she escaped leaving him weaker and enraged. Misquire- The Knight of Sorrow- In charge of collecting humanity’s tears Misquire was the one who slayed Shawn to steal the relic he found. Happrincess- The Queen of Joy- She is in charge of collecting the smiles of humanity, her song serves as a booster to the DeVoid army.

Many years ago A nomadic warrior found and battled the Spino Fossil Zord, he forced it to accept him as his partner and became the Navy Ranger, however in time he called himself a different name Dino Conqueror- “The Fierce Warrior”- Real name unknown Age: 40 (actually really ancient) Personality/Bio: DC was a former Roman gladiator and is an extremely bloodthirsty man. He found and enslaved the Spino Fossil Zord, becoming the Navy Fossil Ranger by force, rather than by choice. He used Spino’s power to find the Archae Fossil Zord and the Dilo Fossil Zord and subjugated them as well. Talon personally stepped in to fight DC and eventually sealed him away. Talon was forced to seal the Spino, Archae, and Dilo Fossil Zords away as well, after they became savage beasts, feeding off of DC’s cruelty. Their savagery was a stark contrast from their once peaceful and noble lives. In the modern era, DeVoid has unsealed DC and his savage trio of Fossil Zords and they travel the world in search of Talon, seeking their revenge. Face Claim: Steve Coogan Conqueror Spirit Megazord when Spino, Archae, and Dilo combine they form this megazord, using Dilo’s acid and shield and Archae’s claws it is a force to beware of. Resting places for the Fossil Zords Rex- On a tropical island near a volcano Para- In the ruins of a German castle Stego- The ice of Siberia Raptor- A bamboo forest in China Tricera- A cave in the wall of the Grand Canyon Ptrera- A thunderstorm cloud Ankylo- A cavern beneath Britain Pachy- Behind a waterfall Pleso- A cave near the great barrier reef Brachio- Within a mountain in the western US Spino- A cave in Greenland Archae- Within the amazon jungle Dilo- Below the sands of Egypt When a Fossil Ranger dies in battle their spirit is bound to their Fossil Zord. However this can be broken. The Orange and White Fossil Rangers found this out when Dino Conqueror defeated them in battle and stole their Fosels breaking the bond and forcing them to move to the other side. Orange- Archae- The Clawed Warrior White- Dilo- The Venomous Warrior TyrannoSpirt Battlizer As the DeVoid army grows stronger Talon seeks help from the Fossil Zords and they send a small egg. The egg hatches revealing a tiny version of the Rex Fossil Zord the Rangers dub TinyRex. TinyRex allows Daisuke to call upon the TyrannoSpirit Battlilzer. This gives him the ability to use Fosels in a similar way to the Fossil Megazord, as well as increase his strength and agility. As the battle against the DeVoid drags on Talon completes the purification of the three Fossil Zords tainted by DC and uses their power to become the true Navy Fossil Ranger

Navy Fossil Ranger- “The Ancient Warrior”- Talon- The true form of the Navy Fossil Ranger has navy wings in the back and a nobler appearance. With this power Talon can once more fight at his full power In time the Rangers realize they need an edge to end this eons long war once and for all. It is decided that the fallen Rangers need to pass their powers onto the living.

Cyan Fossil Ranger II- "The Steel Warrior”- Roxane “Roxy” Clemmonts Age: 18 Personality/Bio: A princess at a medieval themed fair she met Sir Richard when he came across the fair and wanted to relive the “good old days”. When the DeVoid attacked she impressed him with her bravery and strength. Face Claim: China Anne McClain

Grey Fossil Ranger II- “The Balanced Warrior”- Lee Anders Age: 22 Personality/Bio: A martial arts instructor it first appeared that he had lost sight of the true purpose of martial arts nearly earning him Wei’s wrath however when a DeVoid attack threatened his students he leaped into action to defend them earning Wei’s respect. Face Claim: Dominick Mozee

Power Rangers: Dino Rangers Unite! A meteor crashes on Earth carrying a great evil. The purified Zedd and Rita inform the MMPR Rangers (original five) of this threat while Haley tracked its arrival and informs the Dino Thunder Rangers (including Tommy). Meanwhile Talon informs the Fossil Spirit Rangers of the grave threat. The three teams unite to fight against this great evil. Apex Legends dnd au!

I’ve seen a lot of people talk about apex and dnd, so I decided that I should finally talk about mine a little bit!

For context: I based this au on the idea that it’s a game the legends would play in the off season, with Pathfinder DM’ing (his interest in human culture would lead him into the TTRPG phenomenon, and in this sense he’d get really excited to play and make characters for all his friends!). The main, initial party is Wattson (it’s something her and her papa took interest in before he passed), Wraith (because of her lack of memories about her past, she’s willing to try anything), Crypto (he and Mila enjoyed watching d&d/ttrpg streams, think like TAZ and Critical Role), Caustic (it’s an interest of his) and Bloodhound (never played, but likes the idea of high fantasy). Pathfinder eventually ropes everyone else in too. (Sorry for the length, I’m on mobile)

Bangalore - Anita Graycastle, Human Fighter (Champion subclass). Probably multiclasses later on to fighter/paladin under Makoa’s training. A royal soldier who has become disillusioned with the crown and eventually decides to defect and join the party of Legends. She’s the youngest of three brothers, all knights as well.

Bloodhound - Simply known as Bloth, a (Wildhunt variant) Shifter (Hunter Conclave) Ranger. Possibly later multiclasses into druid. Kicked out of their clan in the forest, at first Bloth’s encounter with the Legends is only to benefit the both of them, but a close bond with Natalié makes them stay, and learn the wonders of life outside the forest. They are y’all, quiet and intimidating, but their affinity for animal handling makes them a sweetheart among the party.

Caustic - Alexander Salvador Amblecrown, Human Artificer (Alchemist). Royal scientist, he knows all the of the dark secrets that the kingdom hides, but keeps it close to his chest. Eventually warming up to the legends (especially fellow royal scientist Natalié), he defects from his mission to the crown and instead chooses to play medic to this band of misfits he calls his new family.

Crypto - Tae, Human Rogue (Arcane Trickster). Possibly multiclasses later to rogue/warlock or rogue/wizard. He considers his name like a currency to be exchanged, and is incredibly closed off and secretive, seemingly only sticking around the Legends for his own profit, which is information on the whereabouts of his adoptive sister, a tiefling named Mila, who was taken prisoner by the crown and supposedly hasn’t been seen since. However, he is not immune to found family.

Gibraltar - Makoa, Brass-scale Dragonborn Barbarian (Path of the Totem Warrior). Later a Barbarian/Paladin. A town guard for one of the smaller towns in the county, he’s married to the baker in town and they’re very much in love, raising their daughter Cecelia together. When the Legends are investigating a lycanthropy-related problem nearby, he joins for a bit to help investigate and protect his town, later joining full time.

Lifeline - Ajay ‘Ashes’ Chebara, Fire Genasi Cleric (War Domain). Later a cleric/warlock. Sister to Octavio, they’re a double act of petty thieves, though she’s more the smooth talker to get the two out of trouble. She cares a lot for the people around her, and only cons to survive.

Mirage - Elliot ‘Mirage’ Nightflower, Eladrin half-elf Bard (College of Lore). A travelling entertainer specialising in storytelling, despite his nervous disposition. He struggles to find a balance between his persona and his true self, and puts his neck on the line for anyone nice enough to pay the real Elliot any mind. Due to his eladrin blood, the tips of his hair change colour with the seasons, and in spring flowers bloom!

Octane - Octavio ‘Earfquake’ Silver, Earth Genasi Warlock (Archfey). A reckless young man with bone legs (think like... prosthetics but it’s like dinosaur fossils), and brother to Ajay. He’s the real criminal of the two - stealing from almost everyone, including his noble family, who he doesn’t care much for (and they don’t care about him in turn.) His patron, a mischievous fey, does no favours for his impulse control.

Pathfinder - Marvin the Wayseeker, Warforged (Envoy) Paladin (Oath of Devotion). A noble robot in search of the man who made him, he’s the designated leader of the Legends, and often the peacemaker that keeps them together. While his optimism can be unnerving, he’s the light that shines the group onward to wherever they may find answers.

Revenant - Revenant, Warforged (Skirmisher) Rogue (Assassin). Later becomes a rogue/blood hunter. A human man formerly known as Benjamin Hammond, bounty hunter for hire, he was the product of arcane experimentation into ventures of the human soul and spirit, taking it from one creature and binding it to another (think FMA style). He does not care for kindness, nor hospitality... but this party suits him just fine.

Wattson - Natalié Stormbringer, High Elf Sorcerer (Storm Sorcery). Another royal scientist, having gained natural arcane ability on one terrible stormy night as a young girl, she joins the Legends to better understand her powers and also find out the secret behind the death of her father Luc, who she has come to suspect didn’t die of natural causes. She, like Marvin, is the peacekeeper, and her smile and comments (and sometimes her naivë nature) are enough to terminate any tension.

Wraith - Reneé Brightwood, Fallen Aasimar Monk (Way of Shadow). Later monk/rogue. An amnesiac who woke up in the middle of the forest, Reneé (calling herself things along the lines of ‘ghost’ or ‘phantom’ for the longest time - until she is recognised by a former colleague...) seeks to learn who she is, and the truth behind her missing memories, planning to take them back - by force, if she has to. She, like Bloth, is tall and quiet, but is not immune to silly moments

I found Rome in the woods.

Fair to admit it’s mostly tundra to the west in the park, past Toklat the Denali I revised, low grasslands engineered to freeze deep by October — this being Alaska — the great

Tabularium close to the Temple of Castor and Pollux I rebuilt that same summer — not superimposed, exact as any scheme

in secret — the Arch of Septimius Severus at the gravel bar where fox drank from a river turned stream, a Theater of Marcellus near the ranger station where one raven, such a brat, complained of my Circus Maximus, Trajan’s Column, my Baths of Diocletian, too many spots soaked in unpronounceable Latin.

I really did, I shouldered bits of it, a ruin-hushed haunted business, my brain a truck bed, a lift, pulleys big as a whale’s heart, expletives of cheap wonder all over my woodlot and expanse. One self-anoints to embellish day, years, life thus far, and think oneself so...

Then busted —

by a raven!

Well, that’s memory for you, that’s so-called civilization for you, to layer up, to redo the already done.

I mean it’s a fact, the puny life span we’re allotted. And proof — Denali in August, fireweed, spunky scrawny first Latinate — Erechtites hieracifolia —

giving off flowers to mark what weeks left, little time bomber, time traveler, ancient slips red-flagging the countdown to winter by climbing its own stalk.

Something perverse about that. Something perfectly fiendishly self-conscious about that.

From the start perverse, any premise. Ask...We can’t know. To be compelled

makes an occasion. Rome’s grand past horrific, fire and ash, swamp into bog, lust and bloodlust —

The Alaska Range dreams lurid as Rome, the worst way below being fire, summer snow at night off the highest peaks by noon as distant from our cabin as the size of a hand if I held up the one with an eye in the middle

to know how this works. Some have the power to raise from the dead a before, before scary and beautiful back to mystery cults, in caves, rubble far under a Roman street, the altar to Mithras still slaying his bull, crumbling the stonework.

All things being equal. But they’re not. Agony, it’s older. Ask the moose at Denali, the snowshoe hare, the lynx,

such a wily courtly lot. Ask Ovid banished to his hovel on the Black Sea, aching for Rome’s exalted rude cacophony, each exiled month a big thick X down

for an undersong. Look it up! Undersong: a strain; a droning; the burden of a song — Maybe that lowest common denominator is contagious. Rome or Denali, a mash-up of lunge and cry out, predator and prey throwing coins to a fountain, footholds made first by a hoof, pickpockets at buses and trains, nuns queuing up their no-nonsense, thorny brambles, raggedy spruce groves, a look, a nod to sell loveless love on the street, a chain of mountains in choral repeat, saints stained to glass, how ice gouged rivers from rock-bound, the one-lung rapturous common-sense Pope all outstretched arms, his little popemobile circling the thrilled at St. Peter’s up on our rickety chairs to see in six, seven languages how radiant — Cross my heart, he was. And Keats, Keats is coughing.

You find the fossil record everywhere. In woods, tundra, under streets, in cadaver labs. Not those bright transparencies, wistful orderly page after page in biology, a lie, a kind of flip-book romance. It’s the one big mess of us in us, the generous extraordinary dead prove that, signing a paper, giving themselves away to be cut, disembodied for the knowing it, sunk to their chemical depth in some afterlife, opened on a table by kids really, belabored doctors-to-be, our shabby shared wilderness to untangle, bones joints arteries valves, The Dissector in hand, weirdest how-to book on the planet. For Keats too, 1819, his scribbled roses and sunflowers in margins, his training, his anatomy theatre, looking down and later: still London, then Rome (he who gets it, body fails, second floor, beside the Spanish Steps). Heart, not my heart anymore. Forgive me. I’m worse than the hopelessly confused misnamed English sparrow, descendant of the great weaver birds of Africa, a finch that lost the gene

for nest, how to beneath, to across so intricate, precise, bringing bringing sticks and hair and bits of shiny paper. Undersong: the burden of a song. Poor bird. Poor sweet muddled middle of it. I admit: a ridiculous layering, Rome in Denali. Just because? Because I went to both in short order? Two continents, an ocean apart. My mother loved hand-me-down expressions — never the twain shall meet. They do meet. To repeat: that’s civilization for you. Happenstance and right now drag along future and past and why the hell not the Denali, the Rome in any of us, no two states of being more unalike, worn-out compulsion to collect and harbor, piece together, stupid into some remember machine.

Such fabulous unthinkable inventions we’ve made to merge or unmake: the trash compactor, the poem, all tragedy and story, pencils sharpened to

a point that keeps breaking, wilderness gone inward as

an ocean-going ship’s container, a Gatling gun, the AR-15 of the seething deranged, the H-bomb, Roman legions to Canterbury to blood-up fields into legend then dig the first plumbing but

how can you be in two places at once when you’re not anywhere at all!

in hell, steady-luminous those fact-finding trips to service his worldly Inferno.

Winter sleeps through. August at Denali, bears shovel it down a razor-edged maw — twigs! berries! more stems! — Fate hoards to prepare, sub-zeros, fattens into...

See the park’s camper bus, 92 miles how most of us jolt and slow, crossing hours more daylight than night all summer, rattling tin can with its exhaust and hissing gravel, the fear landslide an undersong just-possible, how we zigzag a mountain. Look!

Nearing a bear, the young caribou abruptly hesitant, shy as a leaf —

No! Don’t! Do not! That grizzly huge, bent to his ploy just these berries around here, his ignore ignore, sure, quiet-tense as a trigger, and we of fogged scratched windows so hard to open —

stop! The bus stopped. Jesus. The thing curious, closer... They’re not

that smart anyhow, a stage-whispering drunk from the back of our imperial realm, mile 62, the Park Road.

What did Venus decree in her temple up whichever narrow street in Rome, the Ancients’ stink of slops, standing water, a bear chained to a slave (out of slav, by the way, backdrop is horde, human spoils)

both shackled to a grindstone for a later mob and roar.

Here’s what we saw: the little caribou in reverse wanders sideways and safe. Our bus one big sigh or like a wheezing asthmatic the brakes unbrake.

Bad dream, bad dream, the undersong start to all fable if for real we’d seen that kill back to lions off their continent cornered, bloodied in the great amphitheaters, rearing up, a nail to hammer’s bite and blow. The wilderness in us

is endless. Near the cabin, near evening, a warbler in the fireweed hawk saw or heard, his switchblade clicked to — I was and I was whirling feathers, either bird — Every hunger is first century. Forever-thus feral cats at the Forum about to leap too. The Forum, last homage I shoveled holes and rocks to remake, mile 82, while the haymouse riddled the meadow down deep, her catacombs.

Time + beauty = ruins. Perfect shapes in the mind meet my friends Pointless and Threat and Years of Failure to Meld or Put to Rest. Ruthless is human.

I ask a composer: How to live with this undersong thing over and over, how to

get rid of it, the world of it —

He looks at me. What undersong thing? And shrugs I’ll put it on the test! Let students define it.

So I dreamt such a test: Go there. To Rome. Half-doze against a wall two thousand years of

flesh sweat insect wing ago, stone laid by hand, by a boy when a whip, a whip, a welling up, his will not speak.

Have at it. Please explain. Please fill in this blank.

Grief punctures like ice, moves like a glacier to flat and slog and myth, low blue and white flowers we hiked trail-less. The rangers insist. They insist —

never follow or lead, never lay down a path.

From above the look of us spread out, our seven or eight a band, little stray exhausted figures as over the land bridge from Asia,

circa: prehistory keeps coming, older than Rome, both both underfoot, understory, underway

miles below numb, it’s burning.

To see at all, you time and this time and time again.

The spirit leans intrigued, the other part bored, then there’s want, then there’s wait.

Once a city began with a wolf whose two human pups would build, would watch it fall, nursing at her milk for centuries in marble in bronze.

She stands there and cries of that pleasure, by turns a blood-chill. The tundra. At night.

A snake eats its own tail, forever at it on a fresco. A real snake leaves his skin near the gravel bar. Some words sting, some are sung. Another life isn’t smaller.

While gaming with @pomrania (who’s a great DM, as it happens), I had a fun thought based on a discussion between Pom and another player about totem animals (specifically if they should use the (IRL extinct) Irish Elk.

This made me think - a totem made to venerate a (decent-to-high quality) fossil - taking on attributes of that extinct wildlife! Mechanically this can be run the same as any other totem warrior, but can be used for some interesting theme-ing and fluff!

...the corollary of this concept, of course, is that this can be used to create the Mighty Morphing Power Rangers! By invoking their totem (or “power coin”), they take on the spirit of the mastodon, pteradactyl, sabre-toothed tiger etc. This gives them greater abilities in battle!

Power Rangers Fossil Spirits

Many millennia ago in a golden land a race of humanoid animals lived side by side with the dinosaurs. They lived in peace, this peace was shattered by the arrival of an alien being. It was called DeVoid and it attacked all life on Earth. Its army was made from its very cells, the monsters called Amerms (amoeba + germs) laid waste to the land. However one of the beings (a bird-man) and a small group of dinosaurs managed to fight DeVoid and force him into the ice where he was frozen. However the battle took its toll on the warrior and so the being named Talon was forced to remain in the golden land sustained by the power of the dinosaurs or he would perish. Over the following eons small groups of DeVoid monsters would rise forcing Talon to recruit the bravest and strongest people to fight them. These chosen few would have to prove their worth by battling one of the very dinosaurs that defeated DeVoid. Those who did so were granted the power to fight the enemy, however some would perish, one was captured by the enemy, and the rest were gravely wounded. Talon would place the wounded within amber in the Golden Land so they could heal. Many recent changes (including climate change) have allowed more and more of DeVoid to defrost and attack the world. Talon has no choice but to use the power of the Golden Land itself to heal the five wounded warriors so they can fight DeVoid once more. They are the Power Rangers Fossil Spirits!

“DINO BURST!” “HEAR OUR ROAR!” *roll call* “WITH THE POWER OF THE DINOSAURS! POWER RANGERS FOSSIL SPIRITS!”

Red Fossil Ranger- “The Fanged Warrior”- Daisuke Himura Age: 24 Personality/Bio: Daisuke was born in Japan during the Sengoku era and raised as a samurai alongside a female warrior named Hikari. Daisuke and Hikari gained the favor of the Shogun at the time and became his personal bodyguards. When Talon approached the Shogun asking for warriors to help fight DeVoid there was no better choice than the two samurai. In order to become the Red Fossil Ranger Daisuke had to first battle the Rex Fossil Zord to earn its favor. However one day during a battle Daisuke took a hit for Hikari and was gravely wounded. Talon was able to stablize him within amber but he would remain in suspension for many years until Talon finally healed him to fight the DeVoid in the modern day. Daisuke is very headstrong and excitable, and is always the first to run into battle. As the DeVoid army grows stronger Talon seeks help from the Fossil Zords and they send a small egg. The egg hatches revealing a tiny version of the Rex Fossil Zord the Rangers dub TinyRex. TinyRex allows Daisuke to call upon the TyrannoSpirit Battilizer. This gives him the ability to use Fosels in a similar way to the Fossil Megazord, as well as increase his strength and agility. Face Claim: Daniel Henney

Black Fossil Ranger- “The Sharpshooting Warrior”- Geoff Rizzo Age: 28 Personality/Bio: Born in Italy centuries ago Geoff sailed the seas as a pirate seeking fortune and taking what he wanted at any cost. During a treasure hunt he stumbled upon the forces of DeVoid and barely escaped with his life when Talon appeared to Geoff, saving his life, and offered him the chance to become the Black Fossil Ranger. Geoff battled against the Para Fossil Zord and was accepted as the Black Fossil Ranger. During a battle against the forces of DeVoid Geoff was wounded and Talon was forced to place him in amber to save his life. Many years later he would be fully healed and once more fights the DeVoid. He often overestimates his skills with the ladies but his skill at shooting is not to be underestimated. Face Claim: Gabriel Garko

Blue Fossil Ranger- “The Shielded Warrior”- Tarak Zaman Age: 35 Personality/Bio: Tarak originally hails from India but was living in London when the Blitz happened. Barely escaping the bombs with his life Tarak discovered a group of DeVoid monsters attempting to capitalize on the chaos. Talon found the man and brought him to the Stego Fossil Zord to battle it for the chance at becoming the Blue Fossil Ranger. Tarak more than proved his worth to his new Zord. During a battle Tarak was gravely wounded and Talon was forced to place him in amber to heal. Now that DeVoid has returned his healing is finished and he joins the others in fight. Tarak, still a comedian at heart, never misses the chance to break out a bad pun or two to lighten a tense or bad mood. Face Claim: Kal Penn

Green Fossil Ranger- “The Bladed Warrior”- Ernesto Gabriel Reyes Cruz Age: 18 Personality/Bio: Ernesto was a member of the conquistadors however he only joined for the chance to explore new lands. When he witnessed his fellow conquistadors slaughter the innocent natives he tried to stop them and was branded a traitor. Imprisoned and awaiting execution, the forces of DeVoid attacked the camp and Talon appeared to him freeing him from his cell and explained that if he battled and defeated the Raptor Fossil Zord, he would earn the chance to become the Green Fossil Ranger. Ernesto accepted and defeated the Raptor Fossil Zord, becoming the Green Fossil Ranger. During a battle Ernesto was gravely wounded and Talon was forced to place him within amber to save his life. Many years later his wounds had healed and he joins the rest of the Rangers in battling the DeVoid once more. Face Claim: Ryan Guzman

Pink Fossil Ranger- “The Horned Warrior”- Alice Kayode Age: 21 Personality/Bio: Alice grew up in the dust bowl during the great depression and had to see misery wherever she went. One day she witnessed the DeVoid attack taking advantage of the sorrow and anger. Talon appeared, offering her the chance to become the Pink Fossil Ranger by defeating the Tricera Fossil Zord and proving her worth. Alice took Talon’s offer and was able to earn the respect of the Tricera Fossil Zord, becoming the Pink Fossil Ranger. During a battle she was seriously wounded and Talon was forced to place her within amber to keep her alive. Many years later she was restored along with four others to fight the DeVoid in modern times. Face Claim: Zoe Robins

Gold Fossil Ranger- “The Winged Warrior”- Hikari Miyamoto Age: 27 Personality/Bio: Hikari is a young woman who was raised during the Sengoku period of Japan. She proved herself, and her abilities, to the Shogun and was trained in the arts of the samurai. She was raised alongside a man named Daisuke and the two were like siblings. When the DeVoid Army rose up and attacked, Talon came to the Shogun for help in defeating it. The Shogun recommeneded Daisuke and Hikari, Talon sensed the bravery and strength within the two and offered them the chance at becoming the Red and Gold Fossil Rangers. As with the other Rangers, Hikari needed to prove herself in battle against the Ptera Fossil Zord in order to earn the right to be its Ranger. She used her skills she honed as a samurai to prove herself to the Ptera Fossil Zord and became the Gold Fossil Ranger. Unfortunately, during a battle Daisuke was gravely wounded taking a blow for her in a fit of rage, Hikari attacked them and was captured by the living armor Ograge, and was used as a life source. In the modern day, she was eventually freed by the Fossil Rangers and now fights alongside them in their battles against the DeVoid Army. She was overjoyed to see that Daisuke had survived his wounds and fights by his side once more. Face Claim: Brenda Song

Purple Fossil Ranger- “The Aquatic Warrior”- Veronica Rosecroft Age: 27 Personality/Bio: In the early 1900s a young Australian woman named Veronica found herself surrounded by a group of Amerms however she outsmarted and outfought the fiends and Talon found her and gave her the chance to fight the Pleso Fossil Zord. As the Purple Ranger she fought well but was mortally wounded in battle. Her spirit returned to grant her descendant Violet the Pleso Zord. Face Claim: Margot Robbie

Silver Fossil Ranger- “The Shining Warrior”- Mahpiya Age: Appeares to be mid 30s Personality/Bio: The son of a settler (one of the few who thought of the natives as equals) and a Native American, Mahpiya belonged to both worlds and yet was welcomed in neither. When the DeVoid attacked once more he used his shooting skills to save the lives of both natives and settlers. His skill and bravery impressed Talon enough to earn the chance to fight the Brachio Fossil Zord and become the Silver Fossil Ranger. Sadly he fell in battle protecting the innocent but his spirit returned and assisted the modern team in battle and gave them the Brachio Zord. Face Claim: Jay Tavare Fosels (Fossil + Cell) these devices are what contain the power of the Fossil Zords. The living Rangers use their Fossil Blasters (Hikari uses her gauntlet) to activate their power and morph while the spirits can tap into the power directly. Fossilzers- The personal weapons of the team Dino Weapons- The unique weapons the modern team wield Rex Fang- An armored glove that can chomp enemies Para Shot- A powerful blaster Stego Shield- A sturdy spiked shield Raptor Claw- A triple bladed weapon Tricera Drill- A sharp drill These five unite to form the Fossil Spear Hikari uses her Raiden Blade in battle After the Spirit Rangers pass on their powers Talon creates a new set of Dino Weapons Ankylo Hammer- A spiked mace Pacha Punchers- Armored gauntlets Plesio Pump- A hydro pump that sprays intense jets of water Brachio Tomahawk- A twin bladed ax Talon himself wields his Ancient Saber and the Boomerblade These five can combine to form the Fossil Canon (Plesio Pump as the barrel, Pacha Punchers as the grip, Brachio Tomahawk as the handle/trigger, Anklyo Hammer as the ammo, Boomerblade as the viewfinder) Many other dinosaurs aided Talon in his battle but they fell during the final battle and so granted Talon their powers in Fosels. DinoBike- Two brothers who form the cycles for the team DinoClaw- A claw/drill combo weapon Styra- Overwhelms the target with love Allo- Creates an immense flame Seismo- Allows the user to stretch their limbs Ovira- Creates a gas cloud Iguano- Stuns the enemy with tickling Ammono- Induces vertigo and nausea in the target Arch- Increases gravity in a small area Fuku- Causes the target to inflate Futaba- Clones the target Fossil Zords- The ten dinosaurs that fought alongside Talon against DeVoid were remade as zords. When Rex, Stego, and Tricera unite they form the Fossil Megazord when Rex, Para, and Raptor unite they form the SharpShot Fossil Megazord Ptera can form the Lightning Fossil Megazord on its own and with Para and Raptor forms the SharpShot Lightning Megazord When Rex, Stego, Tricera, and Ptera unite they form the Thunder Fossil Megazord When Rex, Ankylo and Tricera unite they form the Steel Fossil Megazord When Rex, Ankylo and Pachy unite they form the Balanced Fossil Megazord Pleso can form the Pleso Megazord on its own When Pleso, Rex, and Pachy unite they form the Pleso Rex Megazord Brachio on its own forms the Brachio Megazord and when united with the others forms the Fossil Ultrazord DeVoid An alien being that travels from world to world laying waste and destroying all life. However after its defeat at the hands of the dinosaurs it was frozen for millenia. Its minions and army have revived many times over the eons and each time they do they try and gather human emotions to defrost the heart of DeVoid. Each time so far they were stopped but only due to the sacrifice of a ranger. Chaon- The leader of the army in DeVoids absence, a great and wicked mage his plans can span centuries Ograge- The Demon of Anger- The minion in charge of collecting the anger of humanity. For centuries Hikari was trapped within his armor in a plan to gain control of the Petra Zord. However with the aid of the modern team she escaped leaving him weaker and enraged. Misquire- The Knight of Sorrow- In charge of collecting humanity’s tears Despite his armor Misquire prefers to let others fight for him. Happrincess- The Queen of Joy- She is in charge of collecting the smiles of humanity, her song serves as a booster to the DeVoid army.

Many years ago A nomadic warrior found and battled the Spino Fossil Zord, he forced it to accept him as his partner and became the Navy Ranger, however in time he called himself a different name Dino Conqueror- “The Fierce Warrior”- Real name unknown Age: 40 (actually really ancient) Personality/Bio: DC was a former Roman gladiator and is an extremely bloodthirsty man. He found and enslaved the Spino Fossil Zord, becoming the Navy Fossil Ranger by force, rather than by choice. He used Spino’s power to find the Archae Fossil Zord and the Dilo Fossil Zord and subjugated them as well. Talon personally stepped in to fight DC and eventually sealed him away. Talon was forced to seal the Spino, Archae, and Dilo Fossil Zords away as well, after they became savage beasts, feeding off of DC’s cruelty. Their savagery was a stark contrast from their once peaceful and noble lives. In the modern era, DeVoid has unsealed DC and his savage trio of Fossil Zords and they travel the world in search of Talon, seeking their revenge. Face Claim: Steve Coogan Conqueror Spirit Megazord when Spino, Archae, and Dilo combine they form this megazord, using Dilo’s acid and shield and Archae’s claws it is a force to beware of. Resting places for the Fossil Zords Rex- On a tropical island near a volcano Para- In the ruins of a German castle Stego- The ice of Siberia Raptor- A bamboo forest in China Tricera- A cave in the wall of the Grand Canyon Ptrera- A thunderstorm cloud Ankylo- A cavern beneath Britain Pachy- Behind a waterfall Pleso- A cave near the great barrier reef Brachio- Within a mountain in the western US Spino- A cave in Greenland Archae- Within the amazon jungle Dilo- Below the sands of Egypt When a Fossil Ranger dies in battle their spirit is bound to their Fossil Zord. However this can be broken. The Orange and White Fossil Rangers found this out when Dino Conqueror defeated them in battle and stole their Fosels breaking the bond and forcing them to move to the other side. Orange- Archae- The Clawed Warrior White- Dilo- The Venomous Warrior As the battle against the DeVoid drags on Talon completes the purification of the three Fossil Zords tainted by DC and uses their power to become the true Navy Fossil Ranger

Navy Fossil Ranger- “The Ancient Warrior”- Talon- The true form of the Navy Fossil Ranger has navy wings in the back and a nobler appearance. With this power Talon can once more fight at his full power Voice: Keith David In time the Rangers realize they need an edge to end this eons long war once and for all. It is decided that the fallen Rangers need to pass their powers onto the living.

Grey Fossil Ranger II- “The Balanced Warrior”- Lee Anderson Age: 22 Personality/Bio: A martial arts instructor it first appeared that he had lost sight of the true purpose of martial arts nearly earning him Wei’s wrath however when a DeVoid attack threatened his students he leaped into action to defend them earning Wei’s respect. Face Claim: Dominick Mozee

Purple Fossil Ranger- II “The Aquatic Warrior”- Violet Smithers Age: 27 Personality/Bio: Violet had heard about her ancestor many times growing up and never thought that she could live up to her. A marine biologist she feels out of place on the battle field. Face Claim: Margot Robbie

Silver Fossil Ranger II- “The Shining Warrior”- Christina Latimer Age: 27 Personality/Bio: A young woman of the same tribe as Mahpiya she was inspired by the legends of the shining warrior to train her body mind and heart. This gained the originals respect. Face Claim: Shannon Baker Morphers- Fosels + Fossil Blasters/Gauntlet Morphing Call- Dino Burst! Morphing- An image of the dinosaur appears glowing their ranger color forming the suit. Power Rangers Biotec Spirits The Biotec Buster Rangers arrive and join forces with the Fossil Rangers when it is revealed that members of Millennius’s forces made back ups of themselves. They have allied themselves with DeVoid to create an army of cybernetic dinosaurs (built around fossils and fueled by Neo-En) to use against the Rangers. Both teams must fight this threat. Power Rangers: Dino Rangers Unite! A meteor crashes on Earth carrying a great evil. The purified Zedd and Rita inform the MMPR Rangers (original five) of this threat while Haley tracked its arrival and informs the Dino Thunder Rangers (including Tommy). Meanwhile Talon informs the Fossil Spirit Rangers of the grave threat. The three teams unite to fight against this great evil. The final battle involves all the dinosaur zords (ALL of them) fighting together.against the monster spawned by the evil. Power Rangers Fossil Rebirth

Fifty years after the final battle between the Fossil Spirit Rangers and DeVoid the evil menace revives and a new team of heroes must rise to defeat the threat. Sadly age has caught up with Talon and he cannot even leave the Golden Land without his body turning to dust. Talon is forced to send his spirit across the world to search for new heroes to call on the power of the ancient dinosaurs forming the Power Rangers Fossil Rebirth After a final battle in which DeVoid is thrown into the sun destroying them for good Talon allows himself to fade to dust to be with the rest of his people once more.

Crimson Fossil Ranger- “The Brilliant Warrior!”- Allosaurus- Ji-Hun is a scientist from South Korea, he tends to overthink everything to the point of needing reminders to actually take action. He quickly learns that as a Ranger he must take action wisely.- The Allo Fossil Zord is armed with a powerful cannon and forms the main body of the Fossil Rebirth Megazord. Face Claim: Choi Min-ho

Ebony Fossil Ranger- “The Visionary Warrior!”- Kentrosaurus- Yelena is a hologer (hologram blogger) from Russia who has her Holocam always ready to record the next sensation. She has a keen eye and can spot her enemies weak points.- The Kentro Fossil Zord is armed with a powerful saw blade and forms one of the arms for the Megazord’s default formation. Face Claim: Courtney Miller

Azure Fossil Ranger- “The Artistic Warrior!”- Styracosaurus- Renaud is a French artist known for traveling to other worlds to paint their beauty. Since becoming a Ranger he has found new inspiration in the form of the battles he fights. The Syraco Fossil Zord is armed with a powerful shovel and forms one of the arms for the Megazord’s default combination Face Claim: Eric Andre

Emerald Fossil Ranger- “The Veteran Warrior!” Charonosaurus- Tristan is a Canadian veteran of a war to defend UU worlds. He grew weary of battle but upon seeing the innocent lives in danger he could not ignore their plight. The Charo Fossil Zord is armed with a powerful blaster and forms an arm for the Megazord. Magenta Fossil Ranger- “The Surviving Warrior!” Deinoychus- Rosamie is an expert at survival from the Philippines after being stranded after a plane crash when she was little. She now teaches others how to survive the worst life can throw at them and stand back up for more. The Deino Fossil Zord is armed with a powerful ax and forms an arm for the Megazord. Face Claim: Cristine Reyes

Golden Fossil Ranger- “The Historic Warrior!” Tupuxuara- Whetu is a historian from New Zealand who loves to explore ancient ruins. Sometimes he regrets having to destroy lifeforms as old as the DeVoid but is more than aware of the danger they pose to all life. The Tupuxu Fossil Zord has the power of thunder and lightning and can form the Thunder Fossil Megazord or combine with the Fossil Rebirth Megazord to form the Thunder Rebirth Megazord. Power Rangers Biotec Busters

(Note, this takes place during the time the Pirate Rangers are traveling the universe) After the invasion of Earth by the United Alliance of Evil in “In Space” the government decided they could no longer depend solely on the Power Rangers in case the day ever came when they were no longer there to defend the world. Many organizations and groups competed to get the contract to build the next generation of Ranger but ultimately it was given to Operation Lightspeed. One of the competitors was Global Biotec, GB was seeking to replicate the Ranger tech including Zords, teleportation, and weaponry. A bi-product of their research was a new form of fuel they dubbed “Neo-En”. Neo-En was a material they discovered in its raw red form but after being refined it turned a bright green and was a pollution free source of power. Furthermore they developed a new method of teleportation. And created a series of robotic assistants they dubbed BioDroids. By sending objects into a separate dimension dubbed “hyperspace” and pulling them out in a different location they could move objects long distances in a short amount of time. However this method was untested on living beings. After the news that Lightspeed won the contract Global Biotec decided to continue their research. However on January 1st 2000 the Global Biotec computers were infected with the Y2K virus. Contact with raw Neo-En gave the virus sentience as it hid deep within the systems. Years later, mere months after the fall of the Stellar Empire the virus, now calling itself Millennius emerged and attempted to take full control of a Neo-En facility. A tour group was caught in the chaos as Millennius caused a vat of raw Neo-En to explode. A trio were exposed to the energy and taken in for observation by Global Biotec. It was discovered that their bodies had absorbed a portion of the energy granting them superhuman abilities though their bodies also developed weaknesses as a result. Millennius used his access to the teleportation system to hide himself and the stolen facility in Hyperspace as he planned his infection of Earth. The trio were recruited to delete this threat as the Power Rangers Biotec Busters!

Red Biotec Ranger Name: Hank Sinclair Personality: Hank enjoys all things fast. From fast cars to living in the fast lane he can’t get enough. However Millennius’s attack caused him to slow down for the first time in his life. He had a chance to help other people and keep the world safe from danger. Surprising himself he agreed and became the Red Biotec Ranger. Even with his newfound sense of responsibility he still loves living in the fast lane. Hank was running at his fastest when the wave of raw Neo-En hit him, as a result he gained the power of super speed, allowing him to move faster than the eye can see however if he panics his body freezes up and he’s unable to move until his body relaxes. His Biodroid partner is Cheetbot or Chet for short, who can assume a motorcycle form and can also connect with the Cheetah Speeder to either form the Buster Solo Zord or remain in sports car form. After the creation of the LioTec Zord Hank is given his battilizer giving him enhanced armor and power. However at first he is unable to control the incredible power of the Lion until he finds his focus and is able to harness its full power. Face Claim: Uriah Shelton

Blue Biotec Ranger Name: Peter Hawkins Personality/Bio: An aspiring inventor Peter was applying for a job with Global Biotec when Millennius attacked the facility. After becoming the Blue Biotec Ranger he is overjoyed to have the chance to share his ideas with their research and development team. Peter was attempting to lift some heavy debris when he was hit by the raw Neo-En wave, a a result he was imbued with super strength, hough it comes at a price, if his body over heats he loses control of his temper becoming more brutal and sadistic in battle. Peter’s Biodroid partner is GorillaBot or Gor for short. GorillaBot cares immensely for Peter, seeing him as a son of sorts and worries when Peter goes into battle. GorillaBot can merge with the Gorilla Carrier and assume a truck form or his gorilla form. Face Claim: Brandon Routh

Yellow Biotec Ranger Name: Selena Harley Personality/Bio: Selena is a devoted environmentalist and was visiting the Neo-En facility to see if the claims that it caused no damage to the environment were true or not. In the aftermath of Millennius’s attack she found herself working within Global Biotec where she was relieved to learn the claims were true. When the raw Neo-En wave hit her Selena was leaping through the air trying to make it to the exit in time. As a result she gained the ability to leap to great heights. The drawback of her power up is that she must keep her energy up or she will collapse and be unable to move. Her BioDroid partner is RabbitBot or Rab for short, who carries a big attitude in a small body. However, RabbitBot genuinely cares for Selena’s safety. RabbitBot can merge with the Rabbit Copter and can assume either a rabbit form or a helicopter form. Face Claim: Ariel Winter Zords The Biodroids each have the ability to connect to the zords to form two forms, animal and vehicle. Red- Cheetah Speeder- Cheetah/Car- The Cheetah Speeder is a sleek high speed car with the ability to transform into the Buster Solo Zord Blue- Gorilla Carrier- Gorilla/Truck- The Gorilla Carrier is a large truck that when in Gorilla form can launch missiles Yellow- Rabbit Copter- Rabbit/Helicopter- The Rabbit Copter is great for speed and firepower All three can combine to form the Biotec Megazord Biotec Megazord- Armed with a sabre and shield this megazord takes more Neo-En to run but is worth it in battle Months after the trio became rangers an incident at a GB research laboratory resulted in two new Rangers joining the fight against Millennius.

Gold Biotec Ranger Name: Edgar Patel Personality/Bio: A scientist working at Global Biotec, Edgar was responsible for many of the crucial inventions used by the Biotec Rangers and as a result it was his job to maintain them. Indulging in his own inspiration he began developing new models of zords. However a battle with Millennius’s forces caused the near destruction of his personal laboratory. He and his friend James were caught in the collapsing building and both severely injured. Seeking payback Edgar used his inventions to become the Gold Biotec Ranger His zord is the Beetle Crane, which has the ability to transform into the Beetle Solo Zord. Face Claim: Kunal Nayyar

Silver Biotec Ranger Name: James Crawford/BeetBot Personality/Bio: James was a brilliant if not egotistical scientist who worked along with Edgar on the zord technology for Global Biotec. When a battle with Millennius’s forces caused their laboratory to collapse on top of them James was gravely wounded. His body was functionally dead but his brain remained intact. Edgar managed to transfer his brainwaves into a new model of BioDroid the two had dubbed BeetBot. As BeetBot James became the Silver Biotec Ranger. His zord is the Stag Jet, which can combine with the Beetle Crane to form the Beetle Buster Megazord.

Power Rangers Hybrid Responders

A group of scientist spent years developing a series of Artificial Intelligence, basing their visual appearance and attributes after various animals. The plan was to implant them into first responder suits to revolutionize emergency response and save countless lives. The scientists treated the AI as equals even allowing their own children to interact with them during development. However BuzZero (AI #0 based on a beetle) grew tired of being used by humanity as a tool and rebels. Now calling itself Vinsect it escapes the lab. Fortunately the scientists manage to upload an anti-virus to the net preventing Vinsect from infecting the world. However Vinsect still manages to take control over a series of manufacturing plants and builds an army of robots powered by toxic pollution. Vinsect declares that nothing will stop them or their Swarm from taking over the world. The Renegade AI grows stronger by the day and one day will be able to bypass the protection and infect the world. The scientists ask the remaining AI to help fight their fellow AI but without physical bodies they are unable to do much. With no other choice the scientists ask their now teenage children to fight alongside the AI against Vinsect. The world’s only hope are the Power Rangers Hybrid Responders Red Hybrid Ranger-Evan- 18 - FalcOne (falcon #1)- One of the first children to meet the AI he bonded almost immediately with FalcOne. A natural born leader part of him hopes that it’s possible to bring BuzZero back but as Vinsect’s actions grow more severe he begins to lose faith in that plan-Armed with the Speed Sword

Power Rangers Fossil Spirits

Many millennia ago in a golden land a race of humanoid animals lived side by side with the dinosaurs. They lived in peace, however this peace was shattered by the arrival of an alien being. It was called DeVoid and it attacked all life on Earth. Its army was made from its very cells, the monsters called Amerms (amoeba + germs) laid waste to the land. However one of the beings (a bird-man) and a small group of dinosaurs managed to fight DeVoid and force him into the ice where he was frozen. However the battle took its toll on the warrior and so the being named Talon was forced to remain in the golden land sustained by the power of the dinosaurs or he would perish. Over the following eons small groups of DeVoid monsters would rise forcing Talon to recruit the bravest and strongest people to fight them. These chosen few would have to prove their worth by battling one of the very dinosaurs that defeated DeVoid. Those who did so were granted the power to fight the enemy, however all were thought to perish in battle. Many recent changes (including climate change) have allowed more and more of DeVoid to defrost and attack the world. Talon selects five of the bravest and strongest people on Earth to once more take up the fight. They are the Power Rangers Fossil Spirits!

“DINO BURST!” “HEAR OUR ROAR!” *roll call* “WITH THE POWER OF THE DINOSAURS! POWER RANGERS FOSSIL SPIRITS!” Red Fossil Ranger- “The Fanged Warrior”- Daisuke- Born in Japan but A nomad since childhood his parents told him to follow his heart and he’ll find his way to his destiny, as such he’s traveled all around the world learning and growing along the way. When DeVoid began the modern attack Talon came to him on a tropical island and gave him the chance to fight the Rex Fossil Zord and become the Red Ranger, it took him a month but he managed to do so. Headstrong and excitable he is always the first to rush towards battle. Black Fossil Ranger- “The Sharpshooting Warrior”- Geoff- Born in Italy Geoff is an archeologist and skilled with firearms. A self proclaimed ladies man he knows how to charm the ladies. When the DeVoid attack happened he and his friend Shawn were at a dig site in Germany when Shawn was killed and their find stolen. That day Talon saved his life and gave him the chance to fight the Para Fossil Zord and become the Black Ranger. Blue Fossil Ranger- “The Shielded Warrior”- Tarak- Born in India Tarak was a stand up comedian when his brother in law was killed in an accident at his odd jobs job. Tarak took up the business to help support his sister and niece. When the DeVoid attacked he rushed in to protect them and Talon took him to Russia and gave him the chance to fight the Stego Fossil Zord to become the Blue Ranger. Tarak still can’t help but break out a bad pun to lighten the mood. Green Fossil Ranger- “The Bladed Warrior”- Ernesto- A young Mexican man Ernesto always wanted his father’s approval but he eventually struck his own path in life. During a college trip to China the DeVoid attacked and Talon gave him the chance to fight the Raptor Fossil Zord and become the Green Ranger. Serious at first glance he is still a young man and enjoys the fun side of life. Pink Fossil Ranger- “The Horned Warrior”- Alice- A young woman from Africa she comes from a rich family however does not let her wealth change her views on life. Strong and independent Alice was vacationing at the Grand Canyon when the DeVoid attacked, Talon appeared to her and gave her the chance to fight the Tricera Fossil Zord and become the Pink Ranger. Gold Fossil Ranger- “The Winged Warrior”- Hikari- During the Warring State period of Japanese history a young woman proved herself to a shogun and was trained as a samurai. It was during this time that the DeVoid army rose up once more and Talon came to the shogun to help fight against it. Sensing the bravery and strength within her he gave Hikari the chance to fight the Ptera Fossil Zord and become the Gold Fossil Ranger. Tragically the shogun took a fatal blow for Hikari and in his dieing breath told her that her kindness was a weakness in battle. Later Talon was captured by the enemy and in a burst of rage Hikari rushed them and was thought to have been killed. However she was captured within the living armor known as Ograge and for centuries was used as a life source for the demon. The modern Fossil Rangers freed her and she now fights along side them. Cyan Fossil Ranger- “The Steel Warrior”- Sir Richard- A knight in the late Middle Ages Sir Richard protected the innocent from the Amerms and encountered Talon on the battle field, mistaking him for a demon he almost attacked before Talon explained the situation, Talon then gave him the chance to fight the Ankylo Fossil Zord and become the Cyan Ranger, tragically Sir Richard fell in battle. However his spirit returned and rested in the cavern of Ankylo and he came back to grant the modern team use of the Ankylo Zord. Grey Fossil Ranger- “The Balanced Warrior” Wei- A monk in the Ming Dynasty Wei fought back against the Amerms and came across Talon. Talon gave the young monk the chance to fight the Pachy Fossil Zord and become the Grey Ranger. Tragically he fell in battle however his spirit returned and meditated behind a waterfall alongside his zord until the modern team needed his aid. Purple Fossil Ranger- “The Aquatic Warrior”- Veronica/Violet- In the early 1900s a young Australian woman named Veronica found herself surrounded by a group of Amerms however she outsmarted and outfought the fiends and Talon found her and gave her the chance to fight the Pleso Fossil Zord. As the Purple Ranger she fought well and lived to start a family before time claimed her. Her spirit returned to grant her descendant Violet the Pleso Zord. Violet had heard about her ancestor many times growing up and never thought that she could live up to her. As a marine biologist she feels out of place on the battle field. Silver Fossil Ranger- “The Shining Warrior”- Cheveyo - The son of a settler (one of the few who thought of the natives as equals) and a native american Cheveyo belonged to both worlds and yet was welcomed in neither. When the DeVoid attacked once more he used his shooting skills to save the lives of both natives and settlers. His skill and bravery impressed Talon enough to earn the chance to fight the Brachio Fossil Zord and become the Silver Fossil Ranger. Sadly he fell in battle protecting the innocent but his spirit returned and assisted the modern team in battle and gave them the Brachio Zord. Fosels (Fossil + Cell) these devices are what contain the power of the Fossil Zords. The living Rangers use their blasters (Hikari uses her gauntlet) to activate their power and morph while the spirits can tap into the power directly. Fossilzers- The personal weapons of the team Dino Weapons- The unique weapons the modern team wield Rex Fang Para Shot Stego Shield Raptor Claw Tricera Drill These five unite to form the Fossil Spear Many other dinosaurs aided Talon in his battle but they fell during the final battle and so granted Talon their powers in Fosels. DinoBike- Two brothers who form the cycles for the team DinoClaw- A claw/drill combo weapon Styra- Overwhelms the target with love Allo- Creates an immense flame Seismo- Allows the user to stretch their limbs Ovira- Creates a gas cloud Iguano- Stuns the enemy with tickling Ammono- Induces vertigo and nausea in the target Arch- Increases gravity in a small area Fuku- Causes the target to inflate Futaba- Clones the target Fossil Zords- The ten dinosaurs that fought alongside Talon against DeVoid were remade as zords. When Rex, Stego, and Tricera unite they form the Fossil Megazord when Rex, Para, and Raptor unite they form the SharpShot Fossil Megazord Ptera can form the Lightning Fossil Megazord on its own and with Para and Raptor forms the SharpShot Lightning Megazord When Rex, Stego, Tricera, and Ptera unite they form the Thunder Fossil Megazord When Rex, Ankylo and Tricera unite they form the Steel Fossil Megazord When Rex, Ankylo and Pachy unite they form the Balanced Fossil Megazord Pleso can form the Pleso Megazord on its own When Pleso, Rex, and Pachy unite they form the Pleso Rex Megazord Brachio on its own forms the Brachio Megazord and when united with the others forms the Fossil Ultrazord DeVoid An alien being that travels from world to world laying waste and destroying all life. However after its defeat at the hands of the dinosaurs it was frozen for millenia. Its minions and army have revived many times over the eons and each time they do they try and gather human emotions to defrost the heart of DeVoid. Each time so far they were stopped but only due to the sacrifice of a ranger. Chaon- The leader of the army in DeVoids absence, a great and wicked mage his plans can span centuries Ograge- The Demon of Anger- The minion in charge of collecting the anger of humanity. For centuries Hikari was trapped within his armor in a plan to gain control of the Petra Zord. However with the aid of the modern team she escaped leaving him weaker and enraged. Misquire- The Knight of Sorrow- In charge of collecting humanity’s tears Misquire was the one who slayed Shawn to steal the relic he found. Happrincess- The Queen of Joy- She is in charge of collecting the smiles of humanity, her song serves as a booster to the DeVoid army.

Luckrechaun- A strange being who stands by Happrincess’s side and carries a container of water infused with DeVoid’s power to restore and enlarge fallen monsters Eventually Chaon realizes they need to counter act the bravery of the Rangers and so creates a new warrior Firous- The warrior of burning hatred- Powered by the hatred of evil Firous proved to be a challenge to the rangers however it was Ograge who absorbed Firous into the armor to double his power. Many years ago A nomadic warrior found and battled the Spino Fossil Zord, he forced it to accept him as his partner and became the Navy Ranger, however in time he called himself a different name Dino Conqueror- “The Fierce Warrior”- Name unknown- A former Roman gladiator and a blood thirsty man he used the power from Spino to find and claim the Orange Archae (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Archaeopteryx) Fossil Zord from the Amazon and the White Dilo (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dilophosaurus) Fossil Zord from Egypt. Talon was forced to step in and the two battled, when it seemed DC was about to win Talon used his power to seal him away in a cavern. The three Fossil Zords had fed upon his cruelty and turned from noble warriors to savage beasts and Talon sadly sealed them away as well. Until the modern era when the DeVoid unleashed Dino Conqueror once more. Seeking revenge on Talon he stalks the Earth with his trio of Fossil Zords. Conqueror Spirit Megazord when Spino, Archae, and Dilo combine they form this megazord, using Dilo’s acid and shield and Archae’s claws it is a force to beware of. Resting places for the Fossil Zords Rex- On a tropical island near a volcano Para- In the ruins of a German castle Stego- The ice of Siberia Raptor- A bamboo forest in China Tricera- A cave in the wall of the Grand Canyon Ptrera- A thunderstorm cloud Ankylo- A cavern beneath Britain Pachy- Behind a waterfall Pleso- A cave near the great barrier reef Brachio- Within a mountain in the western US Spino- A cave in Greenland Archae- Within the amazon jungle Dilo- Below the sands of Egypt When a Fossil Ranger dies in battle their spirit is bound to their Fossil Zord. However this can be broken. The Orange and White Fossil Rangers found this out when Dino Conqueror defeated them in battle and stole their Fosels breaking the bond and forcing them to move to the other side. Orange- Archae- The Clawed Warrior White- Dilo- The Venomous Warrior TyrannoSpirt Battlizer As the DeVoid army grows stronger Talon seeks help from the Fossil Zords and they send a small egg. The egg hatches revealing a tiny version of the Rex Fossil Zord the Rangers dub TinyRex. TinyRex allows Daisuke to call upon the TyrannoSpirit Battlilzer. This gives him the ability to use Fosels in a similar way to the Fossil Megazord, as well as increase his strength and agility. As the battle against the DeVoid drags on Talon completes the purification of the three Fossil Zords tainted by DC and uses their power to become the true Navy Fossil Ranger Navy Fossil Ranger- “The Ancient Warrior”- Talon- The true form of the Navy Fossil Ranger has navy wings in the back and a nobler appearance. With this power Talon can once more fight at his full power In time the Rangers realize they need an edge to end this eons long war once and for all. It is decided that the fallen Rangers need to pass their powers onto the living. Cyan Fossil Ranger II- “The Steel Warrior”- Roxanne - A princess at a medieval themed fair she met Sir Richard when he came across the fair and wanted to relive the “good old days”. When the DeVoid attacked she impressed him with her bravery and strength. Grey Fossil Ranger II- “The Balanced Warrior”- Lee- A martial arts instructor it first appeared that he had lost sight of the true purpose of martial arts nearly earning him Wei’s wrath however when a DeVoid attack threatened his students he leaped into action to defend them earning Wei’s respect. Silver Fossil Ranger II- “The Shining Warrior”- Christopher- A young man of the same tribe as Cheveyo he was inspired by the legends of the shining warrior to train his body mind and heart. This gained the originals respect. Power Rangers Biotec Spirits The Biotec Buster Rangers arrive and join forces with the Fossil Rangers when it is revealed that members of Savior’s forces made back ups of themselves. They have allied themselves with DeVoid to create an army of cybernetic dinosaurs (built around fossils and fueled by Neo-En) to use against the Rangers. Both teams must fight this threat. Power Rangers: Dino Rangers Unite! A meteor crashes on Earth carrying a great evil. The purified Zedd and Rita inform the MMPR Rangers (original five) of this threat while Haley tracked its arrival and informs the Dino Thunder Rangers (including Tommy). Meanwhile Talon informs the Fossil Spirit Rangers of the grave threat. The three teams unite to fight against this great evil. The final battle involves all the dinosaur zords (ALL of them) fighting together.against the monster spawned by the evil. Power Rangers Fossil Spirits

Many millennia ago in a golden land a race of humanoid animals lived side by side with the dinosaurs. They lived in peace, this peace was shattered by the arrival of an alien being. It was called DeVoid and it attacked all life on Earth. Its army was made from its very cells, the monsters called Amerms (amoeba + germs) laid waste to the land. However one of the beings (a bird-man) and a small group of dinosaurs managed to fight DeVoid and force him into the ice where he was frozen. However the battle took its toll on the warrior and so the being named Talon was forced to remain in the golden land sustained by the power of the dinosaurs or he would perish. Over the following eons small groups of DeVoid monsters would rise forcing Talon to recruit the bravest and strongest people to fight them. These chosen few would have to prove their worth by battling one of the very dinosaurs that defeated DeVoid. Those who did so were granted the power to fight the enemy, however some would perish, one was captured by the enemy, and the rest were gravely wounded. Talon would place the wounded within amber in the Golden Land so they could heal. Many recent changes (including climate change) have allowed more and more of DeVoid to defrost and attack the world. Talon has no choice but to use the power of the Golden Land itself to heal the five wounded warriors so they can fight DeVoid once more. They are the Power Rangers Fossil Spirits!

"DINO BURST!" "HEAR OUR ROAR!" *roll call* "WITH THE POWER OF THE DINOSAURS! POWER RANGERS FOSSIL SPIRITS!”

Pink Fossil Ranger- “The Horned Warrior”- Alice Kayode Age: 21 Personality/Bio: Alice grew up in the dust bowl during the great depression and had to see misery wherever she went. One day she witnessed the DeVoid attack taking advantage of the sorrow and anger. Talon appeared, offering her the chance to become the Pink Fossil Ranger by defeating the Tricera Fossil Zord and proving her worth. Alice took Talon's offer and was able to earn the respect of the Tricera Fossil Zord, becoming the Pink Fossil Ranger. During a battle she was seriously wounded and Talon was forced to place her within amber to keep her alive. Many years later she was restored along with four others to fight the DeVoid in modern times. Face Claim: Zoe Robins

Many years ago A nomadic warrior found and battled the Spino Fossil Zord, he forced it to accept him as his partner and became the Navy Ranger, however in time he called himself a different name Dino Conqueror- “The Fierce Warrior”- Real name unknown Age: 40 (actually really ancient) Personality/Bio: DC was a former Roman gladiator and is an extremely bloodthirsty man. He found and enslaved the Spino Fossil Zord, becoming the Navy Fossil Ranger by force, rather than by choice. He used Spino's power to find the Archae Fossil Zord and the Dilo Fossil Zord and subjugated them as well. Talon personally stepped in to fight DC and eventually sealed him away. Talon was forced to seal the Spino, Archae, and Dilo Fossil Zords away as well, after they became savage beasts, feeding off of DC's cruelty. Their savagery was a stark contrast from their once peaceful and noble lives. In the modern era, DeVoid has unsealed DC and his savage trio of Fossil Zords and they travel the world in search of Talon, seeking their revenge. Face Claim: Steve Coogan Conqueror Spirit Megazord when Spino, Archae, and Dilo combine they form this megazord, using Dilo’s acid and shield and Archae’s claws it is a force to beware of. Resting places for the Fossil Zords Rex- On a tropical island near a volcano Para- In the ruins of a German castle Stego- The ice of Siberia Raptor- A bamboo forest in China Tricera- A cave in the wall of the Grand Canyon Ptrera- A thunderstorm cloud Ankylo- A cavern beneath Britain Pachy- Behind a waterfall Pleso- A cave near the great barrier reef Brachio- Within a mountain in the western US Spino- A cave in Greenland Archae- Within the amazon jungle Dilo- Below the sands of Egypt When a Fossil Ranger dies in battle their spirit is bound to their Fossil Zord. However this can be broken. The Orange and White Fossil Rangers found this out when Dino Conqueror defeated them in battle and stole their Fosels breaking the bond and forcing them to move to the other side. Orange- Archae- The Clawed Warrior White- Dilo- The Venomous Warrior As the battle against the DeVoid drags on Talon completes the purification of the three Fossil Zords tainted by DC and uses their power to become the true Navy Fossil Ranger

Cyan Fossil Ranger II- "The Steel Warrior"- Roxane "Roxy" Clemmonts Age: 18 Personality/Bio: A princess at a medieval themed fair she met Sir Richard when he came across the fair and wanted to relive the “good old days”. When the DeVoid attacked she impressed him with her bravery and strength. Face Claim: China Anne McClain

Grey Fossil Ranger II- "The Balanced Warrior"- Lee Anderson Age: 22 Personality/Bio: A martial arts instructor it first appeared that he had lost sight of the true purpose of martial arts nearly earning him Wei’s wrath however when a DeVoid attack threatened his students he leaped into action to defend them earning Wei’s respect. Face Claim: Dominick Mozee

Silver Fossil Ranger II- "The Shining Warrior"- Christina Latimer Age: 27 Personality/Bio: A young woman of the same tribe as Mahpiya she was inspired by the legends of the shining warrior to train her body mind and heart. This gained the originals respect. Face Claim: Shannon Baker

Morphers- Fosels + Fossil Blasters/Gauntlet Morphing Call- Dino Burst! Morphing- An image of the dinosaur appears glowing their ranger color forming the suit.

Power Rangers Biotec Spirits The Biotec Buster Rangers arrive and join forces with the Fossil Rangers when it is revealed that members of Millennius's forces made back ups of themselves. They have allied themselves with DeVoid to create an army of cybernetic dinosaurs (built around fossils and fueled by Neo-En) to use against the Rangers. Both teams must fight this threat.

Power Rangers: Dino Rangers Unite! A meteor crashes on Earth carrying a great evil. The purified Zedd and Rita inform the MMPR Rangers (original five) of this threat while Haley tracked its arrival and informs the Dino Thunder Rangers (including Tommy). Meanwhile Talon informs the Fossil Spirit Rangers of the grave threat. The three teams unite to fight against this great evil. The final battle involves all the dinosaur zords (ALL of them) fighting together.against the monster spawned by the evil.
