btw is there any posts abt what the old ppgw programme looks like bc i dont think ive ever seen

there's a couple of different copies of the 2015 west end programme floating around: there's this post from @savemefrommysolitude and a collection of posts (x x x x) from @cornleypolytechnicgoeswrong. there's also a copy of the programme from broadway this year from @personinthepalace (x x) but for some reason they got rid of most of the in-character stuff for broadway.

i got my pictures of the 2019/2020 uk tour programme from a friend so i haven't posted them on here yet, but i can if you'd like? however i'm like 90% sure it's the same as the current west end one just with a different cast. however as i said earlier, if anyone wants to post the current west end cast programme on here, i'd be very grateful. (edit: i just found some pictures of the west end programme from the discord and i can confirm that it's the exact same as the tour version, the only difference is the names of the asm's).

if anyone knows about any other copies of the ppgw programme on this website or just in general, please let me know because i love hoarding them!!!

hello! been a while; just want to do some announcements on what i’ll probably be doing for this blog in the future!

- i am no longer going to be posting mischief updates on this tumblr. a good blog who gives updates on mischief theatre rn is @personinthepalace, chuck em a follow!

- ill still reblog mischief content bc im following the tags and they appear on my dash. i also will still probably draw mischief fanart, although that may be more on instagram now.

i still have the links, but i no longer have the energy to constantly check my dms and give them out. i have given them out to various people, and i hope those i have given them too can make themselves known and share them with others! the only thing i ask now is that the TPTGW boot is only ever given out privately. the master of that boot does not allow for posting of his bootlegs in a public forum. in fact, a lot of masters don’t allow for this, and the ones who video mischief content is no different. please respect that.

OTHER MISCHIEF SHOWS as of 29 Oct 2020:

- TCAABR: many audios (probably the most audioed show mischief has), two video boots, both off NFT. i will not be giving out any of these, sorry. its completely worth it to do some googling and find the masters for the videos to buy them.

- GROAN UPS: No videos, only audios.

- MAGIC GOES WRONG: No videos, only audios.

i love making mischief accessible but i will always have those who recorded these as my first priority. if you want to find a full list of every single mischief boot i have/know of, find my trading website. i’m not giving them out but it’s a resource that will make it super easy for you to find the masters of these boots. im also closed for trades now so please don’t try to initiate one.

hope this info helps you all with the less legal side of mischief content. i protect myself and the masters first, which is why im not just throwing them out there, and why i don’t disclose everything i know. 

anyway, thank you to all the lovely people ive met bc of mischief! i still love them very much, but i need some time away and i need to pursue some other interests. hope this helps answer any bootleg questions, and good luck :)

Secret Mischief News!

I went to ppgw closing night in la with the wonderful @icee-queens yesterday! So much happened haha but there are two pieces of Mischief news that we learned about during stagedoor:

One is that the tptgw proshot is not going to be released for some time. Jon said that it most likely won't be released until tptgw ends, and judging by the fact that the show is quite successful, this most likely won't happen for many years to come. So we have to wait for the tptgw proshot

The second one is that some of the original cast will be in the West End production of ppgw this Christmas season! This news hasn't been officially announced yet, and it has been speculated that the original cast will return for the West End run, but it is nice to get some confirmation (even if it was accidentally leaked haha). UK fans have something to look forward to! (but also check out the UK tour cast if you can bc the cast seems amazing!!)

Do you know why Dave H isn't returning as Max for the Broadway production?

Dave won’t be available bc he will be busy touring with The Time Machine play in the UK during the same time that ppgw will be on broadway. However, if you can go see him on tour, definitely check it out :)

i think the programme they’re using on the west end and the tour are the same as the 2019-2020 uk tour programme, which i have already seen — however im not 100% certain on this and i enjoy collecting different copies of the programme anyway, so if you (or anyone else who has the west end programme) has pictures of it, i would love to see it!!! hope you enjoy the show!

The Goes Wrong Extended Universe (GWEU) Masterpost

There’s 3? Maybe 4 people who have a love for Mischief Theatre strong enough to make a fandom so I’m making this for anyone who has been hearing about things like The Play That Goes Wrong! Anyone is free to message me for the TPTGW 👢and BBC recordings for PPGW and CCGW :’) It’s under a read more since there’s a substantial amount of info and links in this, so enjoy!

Background: The GWEU is a term I made up (lmao) to encompass everything related to the Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society (Also known on Bway as Cornley University Drama Society and the Goes Wrong Show as Cornley Drama Society), a fictional drama society made up of both inept and unfortunate actors/stagehands/ASMs that put on productions that don’t go according to plan. It was created by Mischief Theatre, and has (at the moment) three theatre productions (one upcoming), two proshot recordings, and one tv show.

Main Characters in CPDS (Actors in Brackets): Chris Bean (Henry Shields), Robert Grove (Henry Lewis), Jonathan Harris (Greg Tannahill), Sandra Wilkinson (Charlie Russell), Annie Twilloil (Nancy Zamit), Dennis Tyde (Jonathan Sayer), Max Bennett (Dave Hearn), Trevor Watson (Rob Falconer/Chris Leask).

*Mischief Theatre doesn’t care about when their shows are set which makes my life hell and since I don’t have a concrete air date for the Goes Wrong Show it could come either before or after Magic Goes Wrong. Also, from three clips posted Magic Goes Wrong doesn’t seem to actually include members of the CPDS, so I don’t know how it’ll tie in but we’ll just have to see.

I also didn’t include The Nativity Goes Wrong script, since it only concerns two of the characters from CPDS, but you can buy it here from Bloomsbury.
