Prayer Request for baby M, who's in the NICU with a collapsed lung

Hey everyone, I don't normally post prayer requests. I guess I don't post very often at all, but that's just the kind of person I am.

4 years ago, my wife was in the hospital for the birth of our son, and it did not go well, but I asked for prayers here, and it was all answered. I know there's a lot of good people here, and your prayers really help.

I took my dad to the ER this morning, and he had surgery because of a tear in his intestine. They said there was lots of infection, and he had to have part of his colon removed, and he had to have a colostomy.

My sister is a teenager and had her gall bladder removed two days ago she is recovering but is not able to take care of herself yet.

We are grateful that both my dad and sister are still with us, but they both have a lot of recovery ahead of them. Especially my dad. My mom can't take care of both of them herself, and my dad will remain in the hospital for at least a week, and my sister can't (or shouldn't) be left alone yet

My wife and I are the only other family in the area and we're definitely going to help, but I have to return to work Tuesday and my wife will have our son in tow. She was taking care of my sister today while I was at the hospital with my mom, but it wasn't easy for them.

Please pray for us. We need prayers for the healing of my dad and sister, for strength and grace for the rest of us, and for God to provide everything we need. Thank you and God bless.

Please pray for the elderly man at church today who noticed I was praying for a while and approached me to ask me to pray for him to be healed from cancer. His name is Patrick.

Please pray for R. H is trying to take her kids from her after she divorced him for his abusive behavior.

My friend's brand new baby girl, Vianney, who was born on Sept 1st, has been in the NICU since Thursday (Sept 14th) and has just been diagnosed with hemimegalencephaly. It's a rare, non-hereditary genetic mutation that caused a malformation of one side of her brain, causing seizures. She'll have to stay in the hospital for several more weeks while they try to get her seizures to slow down. She needs brain surgery but has to make it to 6 months before she can have it. Unless a miracle happens, she will need special care her whole life.

I work for the Little Sisters of the Poor and one of the sisters has suggested we start a novena asking for the intercession of the newly beatified Ulma Family, particularly asking for the special intercession of their unborn baby that was beatified with them, for a complete healing of Vianney.

I would greatly appreciate it if you could spread the word to everyone you know, asking them to help pray for a miracle for little Vianney and her family.

Parents are Jennifer & Shad, and Vianney has two older sisters, Cecilia & Zelie.

Almighty and eternal God,

we thank You for the testimony of the heroic love of the spouses Józef and Wiktoria with their children, who gave their lives to save persecuted Jews.

May their prayers and example support families in Christian life and help everyone to follow the true path of holiness.

Lord, if it is in accordance with Your will, kindly grant the grace for the complete healing of little Vianney, for which we are asking You through their intercession and count them among the Blessed.

Please pray for my dad. He's having an episode with his dementia that is causing him to lash out at family even more than what's usual, and it's really putting my mom through the wringer.

They're supposed to be moving into my neighborhood by the end of this month so she has some support.

Please pray for me. I started a new medical treatment this past week and am having a lot of unpleasant side effects that are making it hard to bear. Please pray that if it is God’s will the medication will work well and the side effects will fade, or that I can come off of it soon.

Today I started a new job, my first job in 7 years due to chronic illness (that I'm still struggling with). I have only ever had one other job, and it was during that job that I got sick. Christian friends please pray that I may have peace, since I've been really struggling with anxiety, and that I may have the energy and function needed to do this job well

If you guys could please pray, the wife of one of my professors was just diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. Their family was so kind and welcoming to me when I first came to Europe, the news has been devastating for so many. She just had a baby recently too. (They've also got a gofund me up as well to cover medical costs and to hopefully allow my professor to take time off to spend with her and his kids. Just in case you are interested in helping or just wanna hear their story)
