1961 Fender Rhodes Piano Bass. This one is so rare in so many ways, not the least of which is that it’s never has a single component swapped. The keys are level, key response is quick, and all the early Raymac tines are accounted for. It’s simply wild to see anything from this era with this many moving parts still going strong with minimal maintenance needed in 60+ years. And boy howdy, do these first generation Piano Basses sound markedly different than later iterations. A big highlight for me of attending the last weekend's Union Sound "Tone Summit" was getting to visit with @chriswstringer8's 1953 #blackguard #Telecaster again!

This almost 70 year old guitar just oozes mojo from it's worn, tinted fretboard to its dimpled, pitted Bakelite, and was a stand out for me in the @officialguitarlogs 2022 calendar. Note the intense pick-wear behind the pickguard, between the ashtray and the control plate!

Just starting work on a Dakota Red 1965 Fender Mustang, this just squeezed in pre the CBS takeover, and even with a whole lot of work to be done, it sounds unbelievably good. I make no huge efforts to hide my feelings about Mustangs, they just don't do it for me, but this, this guitar is incredible. Fender Jazzmaster 1964が到着。1958年に登場して1965年にCBSに買収される前に製造されたPreCBS期の貴重な1本。ネックが太く重量もしっかりあるので音が太く、且つジャンボピックアップは嫌味な高域は除去されて必要な帯域のみ凝縮されているので本当に無駄のないサウンド。ギターの録り音だけでここまでの仕上がりはビンテージならではだと再確認。 Fender Jazzmaster 1964 Sunburst w/ Black Jacaranda FB & Pre CBS.This one still has all the desirable features as it is a pre-transition example. Clay dots, spaghetti logo, earlier headstock, etc.This guitar is a true stunner. Exceptionally clean with only minor wear.This guitar sounds and plays fantastic. Hugely resonant like a vintage Fender should be. The pickups are strong and lively, and it plays wonderfully.
