Tea from the Flowers

I went for a walk really early this morning. It was lightly raining and the ground smelled fresh and new. For once in what seems like forever everything in the world seemed to slow down just enough for it to be perfect. It feels like everything is always never ending craziness so it was nice to be in a moment were everything was just calm and nothing really mattered.

Do you know that Twenty One Pilots song called Slowtown? If I had to pick a song to describe how I've been feeling it would have to be that one. As far Tøp songs go I feel that Slowtown is very underappreciated and like many things in life that doesn't seem very fair. Some of my favorite memories would have to be driving home from work with my boyfriend listening to that song and screaming the lyrics at the top of our lungs with the windows rolled down. Like that moment early in the morning everything was perfect and everything was okay.

I work in a candy/toy store and probably my favorite thing about working there is when little kids come in for the first time. Sometimes they gasp or yell "this place is amazing!". sometimes they just have this look of wonder and amazement on their faces and I don't know, I wish there were more things in life like that. Things that just made you really happy and made you feel like the world was a good place after all. I don't I was just thinking about that today.

What keeps you up at night? Is it thought of them with someone new? Anxiety for the next coming day? Maybe that sweater you loved won't be there tomorrow? The thought they could just disappear any day and you'd just have go on without them just wondering how things could've gone so wrong? I wish I could help with any of these believe me I do but I'm currently writing this at 2 am and I don't think I'm in any place to be offering advice all I have is the hope that things will find a way and be different in the morning.
