I’m starting a weekly makeup roulette to help me get more use out of my beauty items. Each week, I draw six random categories and choose items to use that are based on the drawn prompts. My goal isn’t to hit pan or finish products. I would just like to make makeup more fun by adding a bit of randomness! They communicate via a waggle dance; when they find a really good food source they go back to the hive and start dancing! The angle and length of time they dance for indicates to the other bees where to find the food! 💃🏻 🐝 Bee’s wings stroke 11,400 times/min, thus making the distinctive “buzz” sound! That’s a lot of RPMs! 😯 🐝 The average bee makes approximately 1/12 of a teaspoon of honey in its lifetime! By working together though, they are able to produce hundreds of pounds a year. BONUS FACT: In order to make a full pound of honey, bees must fly 50,000 miles and visit ~2 million flowers!!! 😳 🐝There are over 20,000 bee species but only one makes honey, the honey bee! This is definitely a #latergram and taken in two different rooms because I couldn’t get the lighting to work, but this also works to see whatt he make up looks like in a variety setting! I really like the way the whole look came out in a mix of #highend and #drugstore #makeup. On the eyes I went into @urbandecaycosmetics #NakedPalette the very original one. I also primed with the #primerpotion to make sure the shadow would stay on since the weather was unpredictable. On the lashes, I used @lorealmakeup #lashparadise which is my definite #gotomascara. On the cheeks I went in with @bhcosmetics #GlowinginGreece #blushandhighlighterpalette in #Mykonos which, prior to this, I had never used the #palette before 😂. For some #lightbronzer I used @physiciansformula #butterbronzer in the shade #bronzer. For lips, I was the most curious about this because I have been trying to find a #dipe for @smashboxcosmetics #MauveWife as I mentioned in the previous post. I decided to try @makeupforeverofficial @makeupforeverus #ArtistNudeCreme in #SMOULDER. It actually came out very nicely and wore throughout the day very well. I had some noodles and even though the color did come off a little, it left behind a decent enough of a stain. To finish the whole look, I used @hourglasscosmetics #DimLight all over the face and some #AllNighter #settingspray.
