HOLY SHIT!!! I’M LITERALLY SHAKING OMG!!! I FOUND THEM!!! I FOUND MY OLD PARACOSM NOTEBOOKS!!!

Oh my god, I thought I was gonna throw up… Oh my god…

It’s gonna take me ages to digitize them, but I took pictures of all the pages so I didn’t have to get caught with the real copies (it took me, like, an hour and I was sick with anxiety the whole time).

So, please enjoy some really old arts that I drew of some of my paras (terrible art warning below the cut, lmaooo!).

*NOTE*: Since these designs are old, they do not exactly reflect how each of the paras depicted look today.

Scarlet, the leader of a notorious all-female gang called Death’s Assistants, met Nevermore shortly after she made her debut as "Justice Incarnate".

She and the Death’s Assistants offered to protect Nevermore, and even help her tick off her hit list.

While Nevermore stayed with them, Scarlet gave her tips on how to fight, and during their training, their feelings blossomed.

One day, Scarlet put extra pressure on Nevermore to join the gang, but while she was out taking care of one person on the hit list, Nevermore disappeared without a trace.

Scarlet was so hurt by her disappearance, she grew to resent her for years, eventually working under another of Nevermore's ex-lovers, while he was creating Inter-Dimensional Rifts (IDRs) and threatening the collapse of the universe. Unfortunately, he quickly killed her when he didn’t need her anymore.

The Grandmaster then revived her after kidnapping Aerith and sending her back in time to keep Nevermore from finding her, and Scarlet actually made a turn for the better, working with Nevermore to get her sister back from Loki's takeover of New York in 2012.

But, 2012 Loki threw Scarlet off of the tower, and when Nevermore jumped after her in a failed attempt to save her, Scarlet sacrificed herself, kicking Nevermore through a window of the tower to save her as she herself plummeted to her demise.

Nevermore only saw her once more after this, and it was when she was stabbed through with the sacred steel towards the end of The War Saga. She caught a glimpse of death, but it came with a message from Scarlet, saying that it wasn't her time just yet.

In light of this, Alya is not doing well...

Inferno is one of the four Ancient Evils locked away in the “Dream Realm” after a war against La Tierra Madre that supposedly took place before the beginning of time

During a time where Angelus would often storm the castle in a mad attempt to take over the kingdom, Nevermore grew so desperate to protect Aerith from the harm he was causing that she spoke a forbidden incantation, calling Inferno to inhabit her body and mind.

Inferno was nice at first, seemingly empathizing with the darkness she found in Nevermore's mind, and pretending to want to help.

Unfortunately, a series of events led to Inferno showing her true colors, and even assassinating Nevermore's mother, Kira.

The Elemental Four managed to lock Inferno away in Nevermore's subconscious, but she appeared again to help Nevermore in a fight against Thanos (which she lost anyways...).

But, choosing to hide away while the blip devastated the entire universe, Inferno didn't reappear until Loki caught Nevermore and the rest of the team off guard with a sudden betrayal that coincidentally ended up leading Inferno straight to the artifact she needed to separate herself from Nevermore's body and gain her own corporeal form.

The Avengers learned through Nevermore that the only way to defeat Inferno was to separate the two and kill her, so that's what they attempted to do... and almost failed, had it not been for Kira to return (more info on her revival to come in a future post) and steal Inferno away before having her executed.

But, Inferno didn't stay dead forever. If you remember from Scarlet's introduction, Nevermore was stabbed through with the sacred steel, which revives someone with someone else of the opposite moral alignment (which I briefly mentioned here). Hence, Inferno's revival along with Nevermore.

And she hasn't been seen since...
