Tony and Nevermore met on Earth before The Blip, and flew to Titan together in an attempt to defeat Thanos.

He ended up dying once he defeated Thanos, but he was later revived by the sacred steel.

His return threatened Nevermore’s sense of being Peter’s guardian, and the two began a small rivalry that eventually blew up into a physical altercation over who had the right to be Peter’s guardian. The fight ended the fight with Nevermore remaining Peter’s assigned guardian.

Once Nevermore got fired from S.H.I.E.L.D. and lost her position as Peter’s guardian, Tony got his position as Peter’s mentor and father-figure back, and he didn’t hesitate to resume hitting her with his usual snarky remarks, so the two fell back into their old rivalry (though they’re a lot more friendly this time)…

Asher is the lead singer of Daydream Theory (a band consisting of himself, Jay, Sam, and Nat). He is also the backup guitarist, and one of the lyricists. Asher and the other members of Daydream Theory are also actors.

DDT met on a TV show project when they were around 14-15 years old, and have been close ever since.

Ash and Jay have a complex relationship, closer to a queerplatonic relationship. Ash and Nat used to date when they were teenagers. He used to date Emily when they were in their mid-late twenties.

I did a PowerPoint on another family in MaaC (aka The Crowley Family) a while ago and thought it was time I finished the one on the Fox Family to compliment it. So here!

Now, I was gonna doodle a little Para for this ask, but the art block hit and then I just kinda moped around for a little. So instead, I guess I'll just answer this straight away because god do I have stuff to say about this little guy.

favourite thing about them

Ummm. This is a tough one. His sass. His snark. His competence. His whispery little tone. His characterization. His insanity. The way he resonates with the construct as a whole. His iconic mantra. His laugh. Him. Okay, how the fuck am I supposed to choose—

Special mention goes to his laugh in Apotheosis, though, because that made me fall head over heels in love with this little guy.

But I do also love how much of a breath of fresh air he is. He's not just scared. Paranoia is an insane thing, and it's made very clear just how far he'd go to survive and exist in spite of it all. Or perhaps because of it.

I also REALLY love his capacity for spite and resentment as I've talked about in this post here lol. He's not just a cowering little thing; he's sniping the entire way through. But at the same time, he also has so much potential for hope and recovery. There's a lot you can do with someone so batshit insane, after all.

least favourite thing about them

Now I obviously don't really have any gripes about him as a character at all, but I am a little miffed about how he's in Happily Ever After. The chapter doesn't bring much to him, and he doesn't bring much to the chapter either.

They really should've put him in PatD instead, he would've been so hot in there and it'd have been pretty interesting to see it play out. We didn't really see enough of his bad side in the game, and although I do love how much he helps us as the Long Quiet, we do have to remember that he's as vengeful as he's desperate. I wish we'd seen that used against us.

But I'll just settle for his iconic heart-lungs-liver-nerves mantra, because who doesn't love it. It's the most Paranoid thing in the game. It's also really hot.

I don't know if this is surprising, but ParaCheated, or High Stakes as I like to call it.

I like to think they're akin to a very exasperated doctor and a very irresponsible patient. Like a bodyguard desperately trying to rein in a reckless ward. Cheated throws stuff at the wall. Paranoid catches it, then chucks it back at Cheated's forehead while giving him the stink eye. They're best friends. They're both unhinged.

And they have the best complain fests ever. Both of them teaching each other new swears as they bond over conspiracy theories. On the other hand, when they get into debates, you bet there's dirty looks and savage comebacks thrown everywhere. Cheated, inexplicably, loses every time.

But they do end up caring about each other a lot. Paranoid's always there for Cheated's chronic pain. Cheated's always there for Paranoid's panic attacks and anxiety. They're not perfect, but they help each other the best they can. And if you ever hurt one, the other's always waiting with a nice little quarterstaff (Paranoid's) or bayonet (Cheated's) brandished for you.

ParaHero. Just, Paranoid and Hero.

On the surface, Hero's so dependable and so trustworthy, and yet he shoulders his own burdens. The guilt of never doing the right thing; the indecision that comes with being the voice of reason. Hesitation and apprehension.

And Paranoid would know. Hero would obviously comfort his anxieties away, but Paranoid's the only one who can truly get to Hero. The only one who knows how it feels to be teetering on such a fragile string, with each decision leading to a wrong outcome. And they're the only ones they can let each other be truly vulnerable with.

They argue a lot (lighthearted and cosy) and there's so much gay tension going on. A crap ton of bickering and sarcastic banter and will-they-won't-they. Paranoid is very prickly about it, but he hides his face and blushes into his hands. Hero rolls his eyes and smiles and retorts.

But at the same time they snuggle together and they're both trying their best. Hero gives Paranoid space when he needs it but I do see them being quite touchy, with Hero being a bit of a grounding presence for Para. Hero learns his habits and his tics and shines a little light through the cracks between all his barriers.

As for Paranoid, he's always there for Hero too. He actually lets him be himself. No expectations, just a nagging little presence to bandage his wounds and prepare his supplies for the next quest. Someone who's always there no matter what. Someone who genuinely cares for the scared little voice behind the armour. The warrior and the healer. Gay.

And in the end it's not something that needs to be said. They're close. They love and want each other. One learns to trust and one learns to exist. And they won't even think about letting go.

Paranoid x Nightmare. I know there are ways that this could work, but personally, it gets a 'nah bro' from me.

I do like the idea of Paranoid and Clarity making amends and moving on, but I just don't see them romantically in any way. I do headcanon that Paranoid feels very guilty for what Nightmare/Clarity has become, especially when he thinks about it post-construct, but I really don't think he'd actively seek her out. He's very conflicted about her in my AU.

random headcanon

Total nerd. His range of knowledge is a little strange, and he has the answers for the most random questions out there. For trusty, dependable facts, you go to Skeptic. For random tidbits of information that you're probably never gonna need anytime in your life, you go to Paranoid.

On an unrelated note, medic Paranoid my beloved...except he's also overworked, stressed about it 24/7, and frustratedly scribbling down potential ailments in a tattered notebook as two thousand different medicines and concoctions boil beside his workbenches. He multitasks too much. Also worries a lot about fucking it up, not that he'd let anyone else close to the job either way.

Also, he's grown to despise his little heart-lungs-liver-nerves chant. He still uses it when overly anxious, but it's become a symbol of what he is and what he doesn't want to be anymore.

unpopular opinion

In a post-construct AU he'd probably be doing kinda shit in the long run, assuming the other voices don't intervene enough. Oh, at first he's very helpful indeed, and then he descends into his own paranoia.

He's not just another rational fellow here to help you survive. He can genuinely get pretty insane. And his fears are quite justified in the base game because it's Slay the Princess, but take him out of a high-stakes situation and I don't think he's going to fare well.

nie miałam weny na obmyślanie co by tu zjeść z rana, do owsianki nie miałam owoców żadnych, mogłam niby i bez ale taka smutna by była...skusił mnie rogal pszenny z makiem po prostu uwielbiałam to jeść kiedyś ale nigdy nie potrafiłam zjeść tylko połówki, zawsze całego musiałam xD uznałam jednak że samych węglowodanów na śniadanie jeść nie będę, dodałam jajko kilka plastrów twarogu, wyszło 440 kcal miałam takie załączone że to za dużo na śniadanie...ale trzymało mnie bez głodu aż do obiadu mimo że zjadłam to o godzinę za wcześnie bo mi się godziny pojebały XD myślałam że już 10 dochodzi a 9 nie było, wstałam za wcześnie bo pół nocy przewracałam się z boku na bok. a liczyłam na idealny sen bo naszło mnie pomedytować wczoraj wieczorem, całe 20 minut, jakaś prowadzona praktyka na wewnętrzny toksyczny wstyd i kompleksy.

spędziłam dwie godziny szukając podręczników na vinted i olx bo jak już ktoś sprzedawał jakąś która mnie interesowała, to cała reszta była z innych wydawnictw albo po prostu wystawiał sobie tylko tą jedną. znalazłam super komplet w dobrej cenie nawet z rozszerzeniami, już chciałam kupować a tam "tylko odbiór osobisty" gdzie sam sprzedający mieszkał w jakiejś zabitej dechami dziurze chuj wie w sumie gdzie mniejszej nawet niż moja wiocha. znalazłam kogoś innego, zamówiłam 4, polski i matmę będę musiała gdzie indziej poszukać. w ogóle mogłam nie kupować książek bo u mnie w szkole możemy korzystać ze zdjęć podręczników np. od kolegi ale ja zdecydowanie wolę uczyć się z papieru niż z ekranu, lubię coś sobie zaznaxzać ołówkiem lub wklejać kartki samoprzylepne do środka podsumowujący dany temat/dział. z tych karteczek sobie potem powtarzam przed testem i dzięki temu z historii mam co semestr 5 😘 byłoby 6 gdyby nie to że mamy dużo prac w grupach/parach i zawsze trafiam na osoby z którymi nie jestem w stanie się dogadać...

przyjeżdżają do mnie jutro pewna ciotka i wujek...NA CAŁY WEEKEND. otwarcie przyznam, nie rozumiem po co się pchać do nie tak wcale bliskiej rodziny na noc, zimy nie ma aby bali się wracać po ślizgiej drodze (tak było w grudniu i miało to sens). mieszkam przy samym lesie i ten wujek powiedział że chciałby na grzyby pojechać ale kurde czy to muszą byc całe 3 dni?? coś mówili ze aż do poniedziałku będą. znają ciotkę przywiezie pewnie jakies zapasy, mam nadzieję że ciasto bo zawsze robi takie jakiego nie lubię XD oby nie rogaliki bo wychodzą jej przezajebiste i już wiele razy moja samokontrola na nich padła.

czytałam troxhę lalki, wróciłam do oglądania criminal minds po pół roku XD zawsze tak mam że wracam do seriali po takim czasie i zamiast zacząć od nowa oglądam od losowego momentu gdzie mniej więcej mogłam skończyć. to dzieło ma ponad 12 sezonów z tego co wiem (btw polecam) więc nawet nie nastawiam się że obejrzę całe. a teraz zabieram się za ćwiczenia i pisanie, miłego wieczoru czytającym 🫶🏼

I.R.I.S. (Intelligence and Reconnaissance Integration Synthezoid) was S.H.I.E.L.D.’s successful attempt in recreating parts of Vision’s technology to create a lifelike humanoid “android” that gathers and processes information while taking directives

Under the cover of Walker’s new wife, I.R.I.S.’s main objective is to assist him in his goal of killing Nevermore; she currently has all of Nevermore’s S.H.I.E.L.D. files stored in her database, as well as the ability to scan the news for Ember Blade sightings, use biometric data to recognize her face, and record POV footage at all times (She is not outright programmed to attack, but still has the capability to fight out of self defense and defense of Walker)

The caveat to this is that I.R.I.S. has no idea that she’s not human, nor is she aware that her coverstory is just that; she is genuinely in love with Walker, and believes that she’s operating out of devotion to him and protection of him, rather than under an organizational directive

Nonetheless, I.R.I.S. can’t seem to understand why she feels a slight twinge of hesitation each time she goes to act against Nevermore…

Personality

Rowan is very closed off to others, and often comes across as rude to most that first meet him. However, it's a major front, and once you manage to break down his walls he'll protect you forever. Rowan's very scared of losing loved ones due to past experiences (see: Kelly & Blair), so he often tries to distance himself in an attempt to protect both the other person and himself. Despite him being a Demon, not a lot of people are that off-put by him. Honestly, the vibe he gives off is more 'hey, you could pour soup on my lap and I'd apologize to you.' Even then, Rowan isn't really threatening on his own, and would probably cry if he accidentally hurt someone (hint: he did).

Rowan is a 6'1" Demon with yellow eyes, black sclera and choppy red hair with white streaks. His ears are similar to that of a goat’s. Location name references in Breath of the Wild

A year or so ago, I went through the location names in Breath of the Wild and tried to find out which names reference previous things from the series. The following is an overview of everything I was able to find back then. Will be taking this region by region and adding some observations where relevant. I also think most of these names are the same in Tears of the Kingdom but I know at least a few changed, so all of this may not apply to that game. Of note is also that I am leaving out the more obvious ones like Gerudo Desert, Lake Hylia, Death Mountain and the Lost Woods as these tend to be well-known. This focuses on the slightly more obscure ones.

I do want to point out one major one though: the Hebra Region (ヘブラ地方). This is actually a reference to A Link to the Past, A Link Between Worlds and Four Swords Adventures. In the former two, the main name of Death Mountain in the Japanese version is ヘブラ山 or Hebra Mountain. In Four Swords Adventures meanwhile, there is a minor region on Death Mountain called Hebra's Hill (ヘブラの丘). But let's get into the more minor references.

Gerudo Region

Arbiter's Grounds = Arbiter's Grounds from Twilight Princess

Spectacle Rock = Spectacle Rock from The Legend of Zelda, Zelda II and A Link to the Past. Many similar locations, sometimes with similar names, have also appeared throughout the series.

Koukot Plateau = the names of Koume and Kotake, who together make up Twinrova, smashed together. They appear in Ocarina of Time, the Oracle games and the memories in Tears of the Kingdom.

Mount Nabooru = Nabooru from Ocarina of Time and Nabooru Town from Zelda II.

Yarna Valley = Yarna Desert from Link's Awakening.

East Gerudo Mesa = Gerudo Mesa from Twilight Princess.

Overall, this region has few references, mostly centered around deserts and the Gerudo people. The only odd one out is Spectacle Rock, which is usually located in the north of Hyrule on Death Mountain.

South of Lake Hylia

Parache Plains (テトラ平原/Tetra Plains) = Tetra (テトラ/Tetra)

Faron region

Lake Floria/Floria River/Floria Bridge/Floria Falls = Lake Floria from Skyward Sword.

Martha's Landing = Martha's Bay from Link's Awakening.

Tuft Mountain = King Tuft from Tri Force Heroes.

Toronbo Beach = Toronbo Shores from Link's Awakening.

Koholit Rock = Koholint Island from Link's Awakening.

There is no real theme here, aside from the locations on Eventide Island referencing Link's Awakening, as the whole island is a reference to that game. This region also contains the only reference in Breath of the Wild to Tri Force Heroes.

Great Plateau and southwestern Hyrule Field

Digdogg Suspension Bridge = Digdogger from The Legend of Zelda and Oracle of Seasons.

Manhalna Bridge = Manhandla from The Legend of Zelda, Oracle of Seasons and Four Swords Adventures.

Gleeok Bridge = Gleeok from The Legend of Zelda, Oracle of Seasons, Phantom Hourglass and Tears of the Kingdom.

Aquame Bridge = Aquamentus from The Legend of Zelda and Oracle of Seasons.

Mount Daphnes = King Daphnes Nohansen Hyrule from The Wind Waker.

Lake Kolomo/Kolomo Garrison Ruins = the Lokomo from Spirit Tracks.

Forest of Time = Forest of Time from Oracle of Ages.

Temple of Time = Temple of Time from Ocarina of Time, Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword. The appearance of the structure most closely resembles the Ocarina of Time incarnation.

The bridges here are named after bosses from the first Zelda games, which is a running theme with the bridges around Hyrule Field. The other bridges are named after bosses from the other NES Zelda game, Zelda II: The Adventure of Link, however.

Kakariko Village and Southeastern Hyrule Field

Proxim Bridge (モヨリ橋/Moyori Bridge) = Aboda Village (モヨリ村/Moyori Village) from Spirit Tracks.

Owlan Bridge = Owlan from Skyward Sword.

Horwell Bridge = Horwell from Skyward Sword.

Eagus Bridge = Eagus from Skyward Sword.

Batrea Lake = Batreaux from Skyward Sword.

Nabi Lake = Navi from Ocarina of Time.

Mable Ridge = Maple from the Oracle games and A Link to the Past (GBA).

Sahasra Slope = Sahasrahla from A Link to the Past and A Link Between Worlds.

Telta Lake = Tatl from Majora's Mask.

Lake Siela = Ciela from Phantom Hourglass.

Pillars of Levia = Levias from Skyward Sword.

Bonooru's Stand = Bonooru from Ocarina of Time.

Pierre Plateau = Pierre from Ocarina of Time and (maybe) Majora's Mask.

The island in the southeast of Hyrule Field is centered around Skyward Sword references, while the area around Kakariko Village contains references to helpful characters from throughout the series: companions and friendly NPCs. If I had to hazard a guess, this is a general reference to the Sheikah's and Impa's supporting roles throughout the series, as Kakariko Village is their home in Breath of the Wild.

Tabantha and Hyrule Ridge

Kolami Bridge = Komali from The Wind Waker.

Seres Scablands = Seres from A Link Between Worlds.

Breach of Demise = Demise from Skyward Sword.

This region contains relatively few references. This is of note because there is only one reference made to the Rito from The Wind Waker, which makes sense considering the Rito live in Tabantha in Breath of the Wild. However, there were a lot of named Rito that appeared in The Wind Waker and only one is referenced in Breath of the Wild. This is especially notable as there are a lot of references to individual Zoras, Koroks/Kokiri and Gorons in other regions of the map.

Northern Hyrule Field

Carok Bridge = Carock from Zelda II.

Helmhead Bridge = Helmethead from Zelda II.

Rebonae Bridge = Rebonack from Zelda II.

Orsedd Bridge = Horsehead from Zelda II.

Mount Gustaf = King Gustaf from The Minish Cap.

Mabe Village Ruins/Mabe Prairie = Mabe Village from Link's Awakening.

Romani Plains = Romani and Romani Ranch from Majora's Mask.

Rauru Settlement Ruins/Rauru Hillside = Rauru from Ocarina of Time and Tears of the Kingdom and Rauru Town from Zelda II.

Crenell Hills/Crenel Peak = Mt. Crenel from The Minish Cap.

Thims Bridge = Smith from The Minish Cap.

Minshi Woods = Minish Woods from The Minish Cap.

Pico Pond = the Picori from The Minish Cap.

Trilby Plain = Trilby Highlands from The Minish Cap.

Here we see the rest of the bridges that reference the NES games. The eastern island and area further to the northeast in general contain many references to The Minish Cap (not pictured here is also the Trilby Valley that also references that game). Mount Gustaf to the west meanwhile is one of three mountains that references a king of Hyrule: we also have Mount Daphnes mentioned earlier and Mount Rhoam in Hyrule Ridge, which of course references king Rhoam from Breath of the Wild itself. Finally, the places named after Rauru could be named after the sage from Ocarina of Time, but it is also possible they reference the first king of Hyrule from Tears of the Kingdom. It depends on how much of Tears of the Kingdom's story was conceptualized when Breath of the Wild first released.

Zauz Island = Zauz from Phantom Hourglass.

Linebeck Island = Linebeck from Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks.

Mercay Island = Mercay Island from Phantom Hourglass.

Bannan Island = Bannan Island from Phantom Hourglass.

Goponga Island/Goponga Village RUins = Goponga Swamp from Link's Awakening.

Inogo Bridge = The Indigo-Go's from Majora's Mask.

Tabahl Woods = Tabahl Wasteland from Link's Awakening.

Zodobon Highlands = King Zora de Bon XIV from Ocarina of Time.

Oren Bridge = Oren from A Link Between Worlds.

Ralis Pond = Prince Ralis from Twilight Princess.

Lulu Lake = Lulu from Majora's Mask.

Ja'Abu Ridge = Lord Jabu-Jabu from Ocarina of Time and Oracle of Ages.

Veiled Falls = Veil Falls from The Minish Cap.

Lanayru has a pretty clear division, with the western Wetlands mostly referencing Phantom Hourglass and the eastern Great Spring containing many references to Zoras and characters relating to the Zoras. We also see a few stray references to Link's Awakening and Veil Falls from The Minish Cap. This is notable because in that game, Veil Falls act as the source of Hyrule's water, which is also often the case for Zora's Domain whenever it appears in the series (and so too in Breath of the Wild).

Lanayru Bay

Samasa Plain = Samasa Desert from Oracle of Seasons.

Brynna Plain = Labrynna from Oracle of Ages.

Horon Lagoon = Horon Village from Oracle of Seasons.

Talus Plateau (トロイワ高原/Toroiwa Plateau) = Talus Peaks (トロイワ山地/Toroiwa Mountains) from Oracle of Ages.

Lodrum Headland = Holodrum form Oracle of Seasons.

Tarm Point = Tarm Ruins from Oracle of Seasons.

Wintre Island = Woods of Winter from Oracle of Seasons.

Spool Bight = Spool Swamp from Oracle of Seasons.

Tal Tal Peak = Tal Tal Peaks from Link's Awakening.

The area around Lanayru Bay is a hotspot for references to the two Oracle games. The stray reference to Link's Awakening (DX) also fits this theme, with it being the other Zelda game for the Game Boy Color, as well as the other Link's Awakening references in Lanayru in general.

Great Hyrule Forest

Upland Lindor/Lindor's Brow = Linder from The Wind Waker.

Irch Plain = Irch from The Wind Waker.

Rowan Plain = Rown from The Wind Waker.

Elma Knolls = Elma from The Wind Waker.

Aldor Foothills = Aldo from The Wind Waker.

Mount Drena/Drenan Highlands = Drona from The Wind Waker.

Lake Mekar/Mekar Island = Makar from The Wind Waker.

Lake Saria = Saria from Ocarina of Time and Saria Town from Zelda II.

Mido Swamp = Mido from Ocarina of Time and Mido Town from Zelda II.

Lots of references to Koroks and Kokiri, which makes sense as the Koroks live in this area in Breath of the Wild.

Darunia Lake = Darunia from Ocarina of Time and Darunia Town from Zelda II.

Gorko Lake/Gorko Tunnel = Gorko from Skyward Sword.

Gortram Cliff = Gortram from Skyward Sword.

Darb Pond = Darbus from Twilight Princess.

Medingo Pool = Medigoron from Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask.

Gero Pond = Don Gero's Mask from Majora's Mask.

Lots of references to Gorons, as the Gorons live here in Breath of the Wild. Don Gero's Mask is probably here because it is initially worn by a Goron in Majora's Mask.

Akkala Region

Kanalet Ridge = Kanalet Castle from Link's Awakening.

Ulri Mountain/Ulria Grotto = Old Man Ulrira from Link's Awakening.

Torin Wetland = Tarin from Link's Awakening.

Malin Bay = Marin from Link's Awakening.

Ukuku Plains = Ukuku Prairie from Link's Awakening.

Kaepora Pass = Kaepora Gaebora from Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask and Four Swords Adventures.

Tingel Island = Tingle, who appears in a lot of Zelda games.

Ankel Island = Ankle from The Wind Waker, Four Swords Adventures and The Minish Cap.

Knuckel Island = Knuckle from The Wind Waker, Four Swords Adventures and The Minish Cap.

Davdi Island = David Jr. from The Wind Waker, Four Swords Adventures and The Minish Cap.

Akkala is a cluster for Link's Awakening references, with the reference to Kaepora Gaebora likely also tying into this. That owl's spiritual predecessor, simply called the Owl, namely appeared in Link's Awakening. The islands of off Akkala's coast meanwhile are named after the four Tingle brothers.

Frustracja i strach

Wkurza mnie ta niechronologiczność tumblera.

Nie mam szans nic nadrobić.

Jutro podpisuję umowę o realizację grantu (z ponad miesięcznym opóźnieniem, kurwa). Jest ekscytacja i jest strach - tak na to czekałam, a teraz nie mogę się zmusić, żeby przejrzeć tę umowę. Podchodzę do tego jak do gorącego ziemniaka. Boję się. A co jak nie dowiozę? Ech. No martwię się.

Tworzę też z koleżanką od tego projektu treść e-booka. Docelowo ma to być przystępna treść dla każdego laika, z uwagi na moją dysortografię przewidziałam dla nas w budżecie usługę profesjonalnej redakcji i korekcji. Ale po tym, jak już to stworzymy i realizujemy (!) mam nadzieję znowu naszą treść zredagować i obciąć z tego co czyni tekst przyjemnym dla czytelnika, dodać przypisy i... zgłosić materiał na konferencję naukową.

Ech.

Rzecz w tym, że po wymianie kilku zdań pod moim wpisem sprzed kilku tygodni z @trombocytopenia-blog porzuciłam myśli o wydaniu swojej pracy przed 30 września. Nierealne.

Ale.

Poszłam na kilka konferencji naukowych dotyczących tematyki, jaką porusza mój projekt i... szczerze mówiąc byłam co najmniej zaskoczona powierzchownością tych referatów. Jedna dziewczyna dodała rzeczy o których nie wiedziałam i których nie ujęłam w naszej pracy semestralnej. Cała reszta prelegentów poruszała tematy, które ujęłyśmy w naszej pracy - co jest w jakiś sposób budujące i frustrujące, bo oni rozwlekli na 15 min przemowy to, co my zawarłyśmy w 10-minutach naszego zaliczeniowego filmu (trwającego 45 min.), a co mam wrażenie, że lepiej zresearchowałyśmy i miałyśmy więcej źródeł, większą próbę badania itp.

Wzięłam do tej jednej laski namiary - niech się dzieje.

Wymieniłam dziś też ten "wisiorek zaręczynowy", który mój narzeczony zerwał ściągając koszulkę (żył niecały tydzień, ech) i odbyłam certyfikowany kurs pierwszej pomocy. Bardzo to było ciekawe doświadczenie. Zdarzało mi się już udzielać pierwszej pomocy w życiu, jestem już po takim kursie (przed maturą robiłam). Jedynie tym razem było lepiej i ciekawiej niż kiedyś. Pracowałam łącznie z grupą jakichś 20 ratowników, było 6 stanowisk i 10 fantomów, była też praca w parach z zakładania różnego rodzaju opatrunków. O ile opatrywanie amputowanej kończyny czy wypadających flaków było dla mnie ciężkie psychicznie - tj. niby wiem, że to fantom, ale jednak wyobrażenie sobie, że mogłabym pracować z prawdziwym kawałkiem człowieka jeżył włos na kręgosłupie. Nie brzydziło mnie to. Po prostu wyobrażenie sobie konsekwencji takiego wypadku i bólu jakie musiał powodować u tej poszkodowanej osoby był dla mnie ciężki jak cholera. Bałam się, że jeżeli zrobię coś źle to mogę przysporzyć temu człowiekowi jeszcze więcej bólu - to jeżyło mi włosy na głowie. ALE kiedy na jednym ze stanowisk musiałam pracować nad pierwszą pomocą niesioną dzieciom, musiałam TRZYMAĆ w rękach pantoma niemowlaka i resuscytować go, uczyć się jak go uratować przed zadławieniem... A potem dostałam do rąk tors dziecka w wieku 2-3 lat i to samo miałam robić... ręce mi się trzęsły i myślałam, że zwymiotuję ze stresu. Pociłam się, hiperwentylowałam. Przeżywałam dotykanie tak małych i kruchych ludzi jak najgorszą karę. Boję się dzieci. Tak małych dzieci. Strasznie... Boję się, że muszę być za nie odpowiedzialna. To jest taki ciężar.... Dla mnie paraliżujący i mocno poza strefą komfortu. To za dużo dla mnie.

Dla kontrastu - zupełnie się nie bałam na stanowisku z fantomem w wieku 8-10 lat. Miałam chłopcu uciskać i patrzeć nogę. I było git. Też praca w parze z dziewczynką, współkursantką, w wieku dumnych lat 9 była spoko. Bez strachu - pełna komunikacja, rozmiar bliższy mojemu, ani to małe, ani wiotkie. W porządku dziewczątko.

Bardzo dużo się nauczyłam i jestem za to bardzo wdzięczna.

Aktualizacja wiedzy z zakresu udzielania pierwszej pomocy od czasu do czasu jest wskazana, polecam. Można się dowiedzieć ciekawych rzeczy np: żelową maseczkę na pyszczek warto mieć przy sobie by ratować osobę z oparzeniami (tak się składa, że to mam częściej przy sobie niż przeznaczony ku temu opatrunek żelowy). Inna ciekawa rzecz, którą mi dziś zdementowano: jak masz reakcję anafilaktyczną to tylko zastrzyk z adrenaliny i tel na pogotowie, żadnego wapna do picia, bo to nie pomaga, dowiedziono tego naukowo. Dla mnie szok. Dziś uczyłam się podawać zastrzyk z adrenaliną (ten na receptę i ten dostępny bez recepty, z apteki - NIE MIAŁAM POJĘCIA, że takie coś można tak łatwo dostać!). Zestawiłam mimo chodem kilka sytuacji ze swojego życia z wiedzą ratowników dzisiaj i okazało się, że kilka razy ZNOWU lekarze zawiedli koncertowo. Teraz zła na to jestem, bo wspominałam sytuację, kiedy dostałam silnej reakcji alergicznej. Ale naprawdę silnej w opór! To był event, który organizowałam, wszystko ęą, nawet się w szpilki wtedy przebrałam w biurze. Event-pokaz produktów używanych na szkoleniach medycyny estetycznej. Więc miałam pod swoją pieczą biuro, gabinety, dwie asystentki, jednego naszego handlowca, dwoje szkoleniowców (lekarzy) i do ogarnięcia wejściówki, broszury, materiały naukowe, kawusie, catering, modelki. No i oczywiście zaproszonych na event lekarzy. Gdzieś w locie, po drodze chwyciłam kanapeczkę z pater dostarczonych przez firmę cateringową i po pierwszej godzinie pokazu zaczęłam puchnąć. Nie mam pojęcia co było w tej kanapce, bo jadłam ją przy kompie, wypełniając dokumenty do pracy. Coś mnie uczuliło. I to akurat wtedy. Zaczęła mi puchnąć połowa twarzy - warga od połowy była wieka i unieruchomiona jak przy znieczuleniu stomatologicznym. Policzek mi puchnął od wewnątrz, język również. I jedno oko, które w dodatku łzawiło (a przypominam: byłam odstrzelona na event, make up, stylówka, szpilki itp). Moje dziewczyny z biura jak obczaiły jak wyglądam to zaczęły chichrać. Sama jak siebie zobaczyłam w lustrze to buchnęłam śmiechem, trochę takim gorzkim, bo AKURAT TERAZ MUSIAŁO SIĘ TO WYDARZYĆ!? xD xD Do tamtej chwilii nigdy coś takiego mi się nie przytrafiło, więc zaczęłam od poproszenia na bok mojej pracowniczki-szkoleniowca, anestezjolożki i poproszenia o poradę co mam robić. Oczywiście jak mnie zobaczyła to roześmiała się - naprawdę to wyglądało zabawnie, nie dziwię się - i kazała mi wypić wapno. Zapewniła, że po wapnie przejdzie. A jak nie przejdzie to jechać na pogotowie. Nie miałam wapna przy sobie (bo i po co?), więc zostawiłam event pod pieczą dziewczyn i wyskoczyłam do apteki. Dopiero farmaceutki widząc co się ze mną dzieje owszem, sprzedały wapno, ale słysząc, że nie wybieram się natychmiast na pogotowie - podały mi tam, na miejscu maść antyhistaminową. Nim wypiłam to wapno obrzęk zaczynał ustępować, a ja wróciłam do pracy. Idiotka. I w przerwie kawowej, kiedy ten obrzęk był mniejszy (a przez to już nie tak śmiesznie zniekształcający moja twarz jak początkowo) lekarze obecni na evencie pytali mnie co się mi stało w twarz, checheszkowali, że makijaż mi się rozmył i żebym lepiej uważała na orzechy (nie mam pojęcia czy to z powodu orzechów - od tamtego czasu jadłam masę orzechów, a podobnej reakcji nie miałam). Nie pamiętam by ktokolwiek zapytał o moje samopoczucie. Tylko szkoleniowiec 2 dni później zapytała czy pojechałam na pogotowie.

Dziś pan ratownik, a właściwie pan pracownik akademicki, wysłuchawszy mojej historii tylko rozłożył ręce i zaśmiał się gorzko, a potem sarknął "bo to byli lekarze parający się estetyką, czyli chcący robić pieniądze, a nie leczyć ludzi". Powiedział, że prawidłowe postępowanie w takiej sytuacji to podanie mi odpowiedniego zastrzyku przez lekarza lub ratownika, a jeżeli nie było to możliwe, to należało natychmiast wezwać do mnie karetkę - nie wysyłać mnie na pogotowie, gdzie mogłabym nawet nie zdążyć dojechać. I to nie ja zrąbałam - ja, jako osoba, u której pierwszy raz wystąpiła ostra reakcja alergiczna nie miałam ani obowiązku wiedzieć jak postępować, a w dodatku przez całą sytuację mogłam być w szoku. To osoba udzielająca mi pierwszej pomocy powinna była wezwać karetkę.

Kurwa.

Cieszę się, że tam nie pracuję już.

Ale szkolenie było super.

I ten łańcuszek wymieniłam w Kruku bez problemu. Jak super... a do umowy wciąż nie zajrzałam, bo bardzo się boję...
