Prince Michael and Thalia Melbourne Are Engaged!
After years of dating, Prince Michael has finally popped the question to his longtime girlfriend, Thalia Fae Melbourne, the eldest daughter of Princess Victoria of Albion and Tyson, the Duke of Melbourne.
The couple reportedly got engaged earlier this past month at the Prince’s home in Exeter, which he shares with Miss Melbourne. The future newlyweds announced their engagement with a photocall at Nimben Palace, where the engagement was formally announced.
Representatives for the couple say that the 2nd in line to the throne asked for the blessing of Miss Melbourne’s father, the Duke, prior to proposing and informed his parents of his intent to marry Thalia.

Exeter Manor, Midday
Thalia: I had a feeling that you might be in here.
Michael: What gave it away?
Tumblr media
Thalia: You tend to migrate into this room when you’re stressed.
Michael: Why on earth would I be stressed? I have the woman that I love right in front of me.
Thalia: The article. About how you haven’t said anything about… you know who.
Tumblr media
Michael: Anything that I have to say wouldn’t be positive. I… I don’t know what he’ll do if I turn against him. What could he take away? What could he do? He’s unhinged, Thalia.
Thalia: Then what are you going to do?
Michael: I don’t know. But I need to do something.

Prince Michael Breaks Silence
Upon leaving an engagement earlier today, Prince Michael made his first public comment, condemning his father for his comments, making him the fourth member of the royal family to do.
When asked as he was leaving the Exeter Animal Hospital, the Prince replied, “My father's actions are his own and are not correlated with mine.” While the Prince did not publicly say that his father was at fault, the message behind his words was clear, the royals, behind the scenes are turning in numbers against the King.
The Prince refused to answer anymore questions before entering his car (escorted by his security, of course) and returning to Exeter Manor, the Prince’s new residence which is owned by the Crown.

The Royal Family Continues to Arrive
The royal family continues to arrive for the wedding of Crown Princess Anastasia and Hisirdoux, the Duke of Clois.
The first to arrive from the heir’s immediate family was her younger brother, Prince Michael, escorting his longtime girlfriend, Thalia Fae Melbourne, the eldest daughter of Princess Victoria and Tyson, the Duke of Melbourne. This is the first time that Thalia has been photographed attending a close family event alongside Prince Michael, which appears to suggest that this royal romance is becoming quite serious... @thealbionroyals
Not far behind his big brother, came Prince Charles. The King and Queen’s second son walked into the cathedral solo, thus throwing away speculation that he would be joining his mother, Queen Elissa for the drive and arrival at the cathedral. The young prince, who bares a STRIKING resemblance to his father, was seen pausing within the doors, possibly to await for his mother’s arrival.
Stay tuned for the arrival of the Queen, bridal party and the bride and groom!

Royal Family Attends Christmas Day Services
Of course, it isn’t Christmas until the royal family makes their walk to the Chapel Royale.
The King and Queen were joined by the Duke and Duchess of Asbury and their children, the Dowager Duchess of Carlisle and her children and the children of the late Princess Isabel. This year also marked a very special occasion, the first time that the Duke of Clois joined the family on the walk to church, arm in arm with his wife, Crown Princess Anastasia.
However, what surprised most royal watchers this year wasn’t the newlyweds being adorable (although we all knew it was coming), or how big Lady Marie has gotten (She was just a newborn last year, how is she already a toddler?!), it was how detached the King appeared to be from the rest of his immediate family.
The King, of course lead the pack of his family arriving to church, but instead of walking in hand in hand with the Queen, the King pointedly stepped in front of them during the walk, while the Queen held on tightly to the hand of the couple’s youngest daughter, Princess Alice.
The rest of the couple’s children, barely seem to pay their father any heed, chatting happily amongst their siblings, with some passerby reportedly hearing the Princes Michael and Robert having an energetic conversation about dinosaurs (not surprisingly, the elder of the two Princes was photographed by the press wearing dinosaur footie pajamas just two years ago). Even the Queen herself didn’t seem to pay attention to her husband of 25 years, choosing instead to smile at the crowds. Regardless, the couple appeared to be in good spirits after the service as they left with the rest of their family for their Christmas breakfast.
Merry Christmas to all those who celebrate!

King and Queen Share Christmas Card
Of course, it wouldn’t be the holidays without the King and Queen’s official Christmas card.
This year however, the monarchs went against tradition and instead split the Christmas card up, with one photograph featuring the King and Queen, another featuring Prince Michael, Princess Sophie and Prince Charles, a second featuring the twin princes, Prince Robert and Prince Benjamin and finally, a solo picture of the couple’s youngest daughter, Princess Alice, who recently celebrated her 6th birthday.
In previous years, the King and Queen have had a group photograph featuring all of their children, but that appeared to not be in the cards for this year. Also not featured in the cards was Crown Princess Anastasia, the Duchess of Bilchester and Clois, who released her own Christmas card with her husband, Hisirdoux, the Duke of Clois, earlier this week. According to a source within the palace, the  choice was done intentionally. “The Royal Family is so busy with work and school, that getting them all together for one photograph only to go back home didn’t make much sense. It was simply a matter of getting whoever was available to take the photograph at that time.”
The Royal Family is expected to make their traditional walk to Christmas Service at the Chapel Royale tomorrow morning with the King’s sisters, brother-in-law nieces and nephews in attendance.

Prince Michael Spotted Out & About With Thalia Melbourne
Despite being second in line to the throne, Prince Michael has kept a relatively low profile, and is mostly seen visiting his grandmother or at school, and carries out very few public engagements. Today however, that low profile vanished as he was spotted leaving a local establishment in Downtown Nimben alongside Thalia Fae Melbourne, the eldest daughter of Princess Victoria of Albion and her husband, Duke Tyson of Melbourne.
The pair’s relationship remains unknown, but they appeared to be quite content together and paid no heed to the cameras pointed in their direction, although the Prince’s security were quick to move the press and fans out of their way.
Could another royal romance be blooming?

Royal Family Attends Memorial Service for the Late King
In honor of the 10th anniversary of the death of the late King Louis, the royal family gathered together at the Landfarm Chapel to pay homage to their husband, father, father-in-law and grandfather.
Tumblr media
Dressed entirely in black (and for the women, a red poppy brooch), only the immediate family of the late King was invited to the service, although the King’s nieces and nephews did post an homage to their late uncle on social media.
Tumblr media
Of the King’s many grandchildren, only four were in attendance: Crown Princess Anastasia, Prince Michael, Thomas, the Viscount Binoir and Lady Gianna. The other grandchildren, including Princess Sophie, who will be celebrating her birthday later this month, were not in attendance.
Tumblr media
Surprisingly, the Duchess of Carlisle also attended her father’s service, sans her husband, Arthur, whom she has been taking care of since his cancer diagnosis last year. There has been no word from Pomfret House about the status of the Duke, but considering the Duchess has been seen at a few more royal events than the earlier months, it stands within reason that the treatment is going rather well!
Tumblr media
Also in attendance were the Duke and Duchess of Asbury, situated right behind the King and Queen. The Duchess, who is expecting her third child, is said to have been remarkably close to both her parents and that the loss of her father while pregnant with her first child, Elias, deeply effected her. The Duke followed his wife, head bowed in mourning of his late father-in-law.
Following the service, the family returned to Landfarm Park for a private luncheon.

Prince Michael Celebrates Birthday
To celebrate Prince Michael’s birthday today, Nimben Palace shared a very formal photo of the King and Queen’s eldest son on the grounds of Landfarm Park, the home of the late Queen Dowager and the temporary home of the Prince while he attends school.
The statement released alongside the photo confirmed that the Prince would complete his military service at an unknown date and time, possibly not until after his sister’s wedding.
It still remains unknown as to when Prince Michael will be given a title of his own, or what title he will receive, but it has long been speculated that he would be granted the title of Exeter. Other possible titles around the time of his birth included the Duchy of Asbury (which has since gone to Princess Claire and her husband, James), the Duchy of Cardin (rumored to be going to Prince Charles) and the Duchy of Clois.
Happy Birthday Your Royal Highness!

Happy Birthday Prince Michael!
The oldest son of the King and Queen has aged up into a teenager!
The couple’s second child bears a resemblance to his mother as well as his father when he was his son’s age.
The portrait of the Prince was taken yesterday in the Blue Room of Nimben Palace by the family’s photographer.
His Royal Highness is expected to attend Weckheim Preparatory School alongside his elder sister.

Royal Family Leaves Church Following Funeral of Princess Isabel
Today was a solemn and sad day for the Royal Family, as they said their farewells to Princess Isabel, the King’s eldest sister at Saint William’s Church, just outside of Nimben. The church is also the location of Winterfest services for the family and also the burial ground of Princess Katherine, the Duchess of Huntington.
The service remained private, and only family, invited guests and the clergy were invited onto the grounds for the service. Following the service, cameras were permitted to see the royal family leaving, with Crown Princess Anastasia, Prince Michael and Princess Sophie leading the family away from the church.
They were followed by the Duchess of Carlisle, who attended the service solo, as well as the Duke and Duchess of Asbury, looking very solemn and sad as they left the service hand in hand.
Following his younger sisters, came the King himself, hand in hand with his wife of more than 20 years. The pair looked solemn as they left the church, and putting up a united front and looking closer than they have in years.
Following right behind her children but before her mourning grandchildren came the Queen Dowager, who kept her head bowed in mourning, hair covered by a veil. Sources close to the family say that the King and his remaining sisters are deeply worried about their mother, who has ‘fallen into a deep state of grief’ after the passing of her eldest daughter. The sources also say that the Queen still mourns for the late King, and that this will ‘completely shake up her life.’
Finally, leaving the church last, having paid their final respects to their beloved mother, came the Viscount and Viscountess Binoir, Lady Gianna and the Lords Chandler and Nicodemo, all with their heads bowed in mourning. Surprisingly, the Duke of Angers followed alongside his children, also mourning the loss of his ex-wife, joined by the Duchess, who appeared alongside her husband.
The King, Queen, Crown Princess and the Duke and Duchess of Asbury are expected to return to their work tomorrow, thus ending the mourning for the non-immediate family of the late Princess. There is no word as to when the children will return to their duties.

Happy Birthday Your Majesty!
In celebration of His Majesty’s 45th birthday today, Nimben Palace released a series of family images, taken earlier this month at Nimben Palace.
The photos feature the King and Queen alongside their children, as well as the Queen Dowager in the portraits. Also a surprise, a very loving photo of the King and Queen together, looking very much in love after 19 years of marriage.
Most of the Royal Family is expected to gather within the next few days to celebrate the King’s official birthday and Carrington Day with the Trooping the Color to mark both events.
Happy birthday Your Majesty!

Landfarm Park Shares Delightful Family Photo
Ahead of Easter Services earlier today, which occurred out of view of cameras, and Her Majesty’s upcoming 70th birthday, Landfarm Park, the Queen Dowager’s Country Home, shared a photo of her with all 11 of her grandchildren.
The caption reads:
In celebration of this Easter season, as well as Her Majesty’s 70th birthday, Her Majesty is delighted to share the following photo, taken earlier this week at Landfarm Park while her grandchildren were visiting.
The Crown Princess and Lord Thomas stood toward the back, with their younger siblings, Prince Michael, Princess Sophie, Prince Charles, Lady Gianna, Lord Chandler and Lord Nicodemo in front of them. Also featured in the photo were Lady Diane and Lord Sebastian, as well as Lord Elias, the Earl of Barre, her youngest grandchild, happily seated on her lap.
The Queen Dowager has not been seen publicly in quite a number of months, since the Earl and Countess of Loch Haven’s wedding, as well as Lady Diane and Lord Sebastian, who have been carefully kept out of the public eye by their parents.
Happy Easter!

The Queen Dowager and Crown Princess Arrive!
After her daughters had vanished inside the giant oak doors, word came that the Queen Dowager was on her way to the cathedral with her grandchildren.
Unlike her husband’s coronation, the Queen Dowager arrived without attendants, choosing to have her three grandchildren, Crown Princess Anastasia, Prince Michael and Princess Sophie walk beside her on the carpet up to the church.
In a surprising move, the Dowager Queen chose to wear a cream and gold outfit reminiscent of her dress at her late husband’s coronation, instead of the black and dark clothing she has favored since King Louis’s death.
Crown Princess Anastasia and her siblings meanwhile were dressed in light happy colors for the event. The Crown Princess and Princess Sophie were wearing matching dresses for the event, albeit in different colors while Prince Michael wore a suit similar to his cousin.
The three siblings happily smiled at the crowds, while the Queen Dowager remained stone-faced on her walk to abbey.
The Queen Consort and King are expected to be arriving any minute!

Crown Princess Invested as Duchess of Bilchester
Early this afternoon, Crown Princess Anastasia was formally invested as the Duchess of Bilchester in a ceremony inside Nimben Palace. The King was photographed bestowing his eldest daughter with his former duchy, given to him prior to his wedding day to the Queen.
Many royal watchers and insiders were surprised that the King had chosen to give the future Queen the Duchy now instead of waiting until she was engaged. A source close to the decision stated that: “The King wants to let the more traditional members of Parliament know that she is his heir, and no one else. He knows that some members of Parliament favor his sons over his daughters and wants that to end as soon as possible.”
Tumblr media
In the meantime, Prince Michael and Princess Sophie appeared to show no signs of jealously at the investiture ceremony, although the Princess did appear a bit distracted while her father bestowed her elder sister. Also in attendance were the Queen and Queen Dowager. The Crown Princess’s boyfriend, Hisirdoux Caspersen, also not present at the ceremony nor was her cousin, Thomas, the Viscount Binoir.
The Crown Princess’s official title shall be: Her Royal Highness, Crown Princess Anastasia, the Duchess of Bilchester. It is unknown if she will gain another title upon marriage.
