Duchess of Asbury Newest Royal to Bash King
Upon leaving an engagement today at the University of Bilchester, her alma mater, the Duchess of Asbury was swarmed members of both the press and public, all asking questions about her relationship with her brother, the King, and how she felt about the comments.
The Duchess replied curtly that she and her husband, the Duke of Asbury, had a very minimal relationship with the King and that she knows that “Anastasia will be a wonderful Queen and monarch in the future and that Hisirdoux will make a wonderful consort.”
The King’s youngest sister is the most recent member of the Royal Family to condemn the the monarch, joining Princess Sophie, the Crown Princess and Duke of Clois, although the heir and her husband have not said anything publicly.

The Royal Family Begins to Arrive!
The royal family is beginning to arrive for the wedding of Crown Princess Anastasia, the Duchess of Bilchester to her longtime fiancé, Hisirdoux, the Duke of Clois.
1. First to arrive came the Duke and Duchess of Asbury, followed by their son, Elias. The youngest sister of King Richard and her family were dressed head to toe in blue, their signature color. The couple’s eldest daughter, Lady Beatrice and their youngest son, Lord Anton, are also serving in the bridal party.
2. Shortly behind his aunt and uncle was Thomas, the Viscount Binoir and Paige, the Viscountess Binoir. The couple arrived sans their daughter, Marie, who is also the Crown Princess’s goddaughter. While it remains unconfirmed, the Duke of Clois is also said to have have attended the couple’s wedding 2 years ago.
3. Behind her big brother was Lady Gianna Angers, with Gabriel, the Viscount de Vanily. While the couple have only been dating for 7 months, friends close to the couple describe them as ‘inseparable’ and that marriage is not far ahead for them.
4. However, the exact opposite could be said for Lord Chandler Angers, the eldest of the late Princess Isabel’s twin boys. Despite being linked to several different women during the time of his cousin’s engagement, the 11th in line to the throne arrived solo, but it did not seem to bother him in the slightest.
5. Not long after his twin, came the crowd’s favorite of the day, Lord Nicodemo Angers, hand in hand with his longtime boyfriend of more than 6 years, Will Samson. The couple smiled at the cameras and waved to the crowds, leaving many to wonder if the late Princess’s youngest child will be the next to tie the knot.
6. Finally, reportedly after a few traffic delays, the Dowager Duchess of Carlisle, Princess Katherine, and her two children, Diane, the Duchess of Carlisle and Lord Sebastian Carlisle. This is the first public appearance of the Dowager Duchess since the funeral of her mother, Queen Eliza, a little over a year ago. The Dowager’s youngest child, Lady Alexandra, is also serving in the bridal party.
The rest of the royal family is set to arrive any minute with the bridal party not far behind!

Duke and Duchess of Asbury Welcome Baby Boy!
While people across Carrington slept, they were unaware that the seventeenth in line for the throne was being born. The Duke and Duchess of Asbury chose not to announce that she was in labor and chose to announce the birth a day later, after mother and son had gotten a chance to catch their breath.
Tumblr media
Shortly after the announcement, the Duke, Duchess and their young son appeared on the steps for a few moments to greet the small crowd, eager to see the newest member of the family.
Graceview House has not yet announced a name for the young Lord, but it is expected to be announced within the coming days.
Many congratulations to the Duke and Duchess!

The Wedding Service Begins!
Shortly after the King walked his youngest daughter up the aisle (and shed a few tears along the way), Princess Claire joined her soon-to-be husband at the altar, where their bridesmaids and groomsmen waited patiently.
Tumblr media
Once she had reached her groom, several members of the press and those at home watching, noticed that the Duke of Asbury appeared to whisper to his blushing bride, “You look gorgeous.”
Holding hands, the couple barely took their eyes off of each other as The Honorable Reverend Percival Grant welcomed those gathered and began the service.
Tumblr media
When it came time for their vows, the couple promised to love, support, and care for each other for the rest of their lives, before exchanging rings.
Tumblr media
Once that the Reverend had announced the couple were finally husband and wife after nearly 7 years, an enormous roar went up from the church from the assembled guests and the bridal party as the couple shared their first kiss as a married couple.
Tumblr media
After they kissed, as is tradition, the new Duke and Duchess of Asbury showed their respect to the King and Queen before leaving the church.

Queen Elissa’s New Fashion
Ever since the engagement announcement of her daughter, Crown Princess Anastasia to Hisirdoux Caspersen, the interest in the royal family has gone up tenfold. That also means a revamp in the royal wardrobe, including Queen Elissa’s.
The mother of seven, now 50, doesn’t look a day over 35, but her fashion would suggest otherwise. While it would of course make sense for her to leave the fashion of her 20s behind her, the fashion that the Queen presently wears strongly suggests that she is a grandmother to several, much like her late mother-in-law.
Tumblr media
During an engagement to the Exeter Public Library recently, the Queen’s outfit of choice appeared to resemble an outfit of her grandmother-in-law (yuck) as opposed to her typical straight, seam-lined dresses.
Now, one could argue that the royal family as a whole are loosing their sense of style, but when you look at the likes of the Crown Princess or even Princess Sophie, the opposite seems true. The King and Queen’s eldest two daughters are far more likely to be setting the trends rather than following them, especially the Crown Princess, who is expected to be kicking off a trend of wedding wear following her impending nuptials with Hisirdoux Caspersen, something not even the Queen managed to do after her wedding.
As Fashion Analyst Marie Thore points out: “After the King and Queen got married, there was a tremendous amount of hype around their wedding. There were parties in the streets, champagne everywhere the whole nine yards. And yes, the Queen’s dress was very unpredictable and absolutely gorgeous, but it also felt very... plain. Very traditional and so the hype around it died out maybe around the time that she and the King announced that they were expecting Anastasia. Meanwhile, with the Duchess of Asbury, we see a tremendous amount of hype around her dress when she married the Duke and it set off a dozen new trends across Carrington. There is always going to be more interest in what the Crown Princess or Duchess of Asbury is wearing as opposed to the Queen.”
Well, all we have to say is that we’ll keep our fingers crossed that only one person at the wedding wears white this time around.

The Duke and Duchess of Asbury Share Sons Name!
2 weeks after giving birth, the Duke and Duchess of Asbury have officially shared their son’s name with the world.
In a statement from Graceview House, the couple wrote:
These past two weeks have been absolutely exhausting for us, physically, mentally and emotionally. We are beyond grateful to the amazing and dedicated nursing staff at the Oliverson Hospital Maternity ward who have answered all of our questions and have provided a great deal of support.
We are delighted to announce that we have decided to name our son Anton Colin James. Both Elias and Beatrice are delighted to have a little brother and we look forward to sharing more moments of our family with you soon.
- C&J
The picture accompanying the message is believed to have been taken by the Duke’s mother, Barbara, or his stepfather.
Many congratulations to the Duke and Duchess and welcome to the world Baby Anton!

Jim: I see. Well, uh. Thank, thank you for letting us know.
Tumblr media
Claire: Jim? What’s wrong?
Jim: The Exeter Hospital called. My sperm donor was there. Didn’t make it.
Claire: Oh. Oh Jim…
Jim: And since I’m next of kin, everything falls down on me.
Tumblr media
Jim: Everything. The hospital said that I’m responsible for the remains. But…
Claire: You want nothing to do with them.
Jim: Of course not. This is the man who fucking walked out on me and my mom when I was Anton’s age to be with some… I don’t know.
Claire: You do what you think is right. And I’ll be here every step of the way.

Diane: Edmund… Don’t tell Mom.

Claire: When I was a little bit older than you, I did the exact same thing with your uncle. Your aunt found us. It happens.

Diane: But will I ever see him again?
Claire: From what I saw last night, I have reason to believe that you will.

Elissa: How on earth do you and Jim manage it?
Claire: Manage what?
Tumblr media
Elissa: Staying happy after all these years. Staying in love.
Claire: What do you mean? Is everything alright with Richard?
Elissa: Let’s be honest, he’s been… distant with me. And the kids.
Tumblr media
Claire: How… How long has it been going on for?
Elissa: God, I wish I knew. Too long though. We… had a rough patch right after Sophie was born but I thought that it had gotten better. How on earth do you and Jim manage it?
Tumblr media
Claire: Magic, I guess. (laugh) Honestly though, I think it’s because Jim and I are best friends. We always have been. Sure, we argue every now and then, but it makes us stronger as a couple. I don’t know my brother as well as you do, but I know that as stubborn as he is, he’ll always listen to the people that he loves.

The Duke and Duchess of Asbury Welcome Daughter
Earlier today, Graceview House officially announced that the King’s youngest sister, Claire, and her husband, James, the Duke of Asbury, had welcomed their fourth child together, a baby girl.
In a statement released by the couple they said:
We are delighted to announced that the newest member of our family, Leonora Marie Anna Lake, arrived safely into the world last week, on the 15th of September.
We are beyond blessed to have her in our lives and Elias, Beatrice and Anton are head over heels over their baby sister.
- J + C
The couple’s statement came as a surprise to many royal watchers, who were used to the couple appearing on the step’s the Saint Mary’s wing or outside of the hospital after the Duchess had given birth. A source who works for the couple stated that: “They’re very well aware of the fact that their children are much further back in the line of succession than those of the King or the late Princess Isabel. Causing a ruckess and public event for someone who won’t wear the crown appears to be a bit ‘uncalled for’ to them.”
Either way, the newest member of the family, Lady Leonora is now 19th in line to the throne and fourth in line to inherit her father’s duchy.
Congratulations to the now parents of four!

The Duke and Duchess of Asbury Expecting!
While most of the couple’s posts on their social pages have been fairly standard, visits to charities and patronages and projects that the Duke and Duchess are working on, there are quite a few posts that are a bit more personal, including the one shared today by Graceview House.
The post, which features the Duke and Duchess looking very happy in each others arms, announced that the Duchess was in fact expecting their third child.
Like Lord Elias and Lady Beatrice, the gender of the child remains unknown until birth is announced, although several are speculating already.
Many congratulations to the Duke and Duchess!

Royals Visit New Exhibit!
Earlier this afternoon, the Queen, joined by the Crown Princess and the Duchess of Asbury, who recently announced that she and the Duke are expecting their fourth child, visited the Landfarm Park Museum and Gallery to get a preview on their newest exhibition of Royal Wedding dresses through the years.
Featured in the gallery is Queen Elissa’s reception dress (as her wedding dress just finished a tour of it’s own), the Duchess of Asbury’s wedding dress (the first time it’s gone on tour since her own wedding to the Duke of Asbury), as well as the dresses of Queen Eliza, and the late Queen Helena and Queen Theresa-Marie. At the request of the family, the wedding dresses of the Duchess of Carlisle and the late Princess Isabel were not featured.
Much to the surprise of everyone, the Crown Princess, who has been dating her boyfriend, actor Hisirdoux Caspersen for close to 3 years, joined her mother and aunt, sparking rumors of an engagement. The Duchess of Bilchester gently shut down the rumors stating that, “If he had proposed, I’d imagine that you’d all know by now because I wouldn’t be able to shut up about it.”
Tumblr media
Once inside the exhibit, cameras caught the Queen and Duchess of Asbury gazing fondly at their wedding dresses, lost deep in the happy memories of that day. The Crown Princess meanwhile, floated between the dresses of her grandmother, her great-grandmother and her great-great grandmother, the first Queen Regnant of Carrington. At one point, overlookers could hear the Queen whisper something to the Duchess of Asbury, which causing both women to giggle lightly.
The exhibit is set to run through the end of next month.

CHARACTER INSPIRATION // C H A L L E N G E
Rules: Write up a blurb or make a visual collage of the people or characters (from books, TV shows, movies, etc.) that inspired your OC, either visually, personality wise, or just a general vibe
I was tagged by @thelockwoodroyals for this challenge!
I chose to do Jim, Claire and Anastasia for this challenge, but honestly I could do this for anyone. I was also very tempted to do Ana’s future spouse, however the only picture I have of him that’s in this style is a MAJOR spoiler so that’s a no go. Let me know if you’d like to see more!
I’m going to tag @carmichealroyals @officalroyalsofpierreland @ourwillowcreekroyals @kingdomofvellia @royaltysimblr and whoever else wants to do it!
Claire:
A tiny part of Claire’s inspiration comes from Claire Nuñez in the Tales of Arcadia series (a reoccurring theme throughout all of this) as well as Annabeth Chase from the Riordan Verse, as they’re both very strong and very protective of their family and friends. I’d even go on a limb to say that she also has a bit of Aja Tarron in her, also from Tales of Arcadia. When I created Claire, I knew without a doubt in my mind that her major inspiration was going to be Claire from Tales of Arcadia and that her endgame was going to be with someone named Jim.
Jim:
Jim is essentially split 75/25: Most of his character is inspired by Jim Lake Jr. from Tales of Arcadia (he also shares the EXACT same name and background story, heh heh) and the remaining part is pulled from Percy Jackson. It is not a coincidence in the slightest that Jim in Tales of Arcadia happens to be in a relationship with a Claire. A good chunk of Jim’s story and personality traits come from Tales of Arcadia as well, right down to his father walking out when he was young.
Anastasia:
I think it’s basically no secret at this point to say that 90% of Anastasia’s character and personality comes from me. A tiny fraction of it comes from Hermione, but most of it is all me. Admittedly, there are some parts in her character story that I haven’t experienced/won’t experience, but a lot of her draws from my own real life experiences as well. Hell, she kind of looks like me as well. (There’s a scene coming up that I dressed her casually for and nearly broke down cause she looks so much like me). She’s fiercely devoted to the things and people that she loves, even if Richard is insanely overprotective of her and her sisters (much to Elissa’s chagrin).
I’ll probably do more of these soon!

Royal Family Leaves Church Following Funeral of Princess Isabel
Today was a solemn and sad day for the Royal Family, as they said their farewells to Princess Isabel, the King’s eldest sister at Saint William’s Church, just outside of Nimben. The church is also the location of Winterfest services for the family and also the burial ground of Princess Katherine, the Duchess of Huntington.
The service remained private, and only family, invited guests and the clergy were invited onto the grounds for the service. Following the service, cameras were permitted to see the royal family leaving, with Crown Princess Anastasia, Prince Michael and Princess Sophie leading the family away from the church.
They were followed by the Duchess of Carlisle, who attended the service solo, as well as the Duke and Duchess of Asbury, looking very solemn and sad as they left the service hand in hand.
Following his younger sisters, came the King himself, hand in hand with his wife of more than 20 years. The pair looked solemn as they left the church, and putting up a united front and looking closer than they have in years.
Following right behind her children but before her mourning grandchildren came the Queen Dowager, who kept her head bowed in mourning, hair covered by a veil. Sources close to the family say that the King and his remaining sisters are deeply worried about their mother, who has ‘fallen into a deep state of grief’ after the passing of her eldest daughter. The sources also say that the Queen still mourns for the late King, and that this will ‘completely shake up her life.’
Finally, leaving the church last, having paid their final respects to their beloved mother, came the Viscount and Viscountess Binoir, Lady Gianna and the Lords Chandler and Nicodemo, all with their heads bowed in mourning. Surprisingly, the Duke of Angers followed alongside his children, also mourning the loss of his ex-wife, joined by the Duchess, who appeared alongside her husband.
The King, Queen, Crown Princess and the Duke and Duchess of Asbury are expected to return to their work tomorrow, thus ending the mourning for the non-immediate family of the late Princess. There is no word as to when the children will return to their duties.

Official Reception Photos Shared!
Early this afternoon, Nimben Palace shared a series of photos from the reception of the Duke and Duchess of Asbury from last evening.
The photos feature the newlyweds sharing their first dance as married couple, the Duchess dancing with her father, King Louis, and the Duke dancing with his mother.
Royal Watchers were delighted to see that Viscount Arthur Carlisle, the longtime significant other of Princess Katherine, was in attendance at the reception.
Not featured in the photos is Princess Isabel and her husband, the Viscount Binoir. It is unknown if the couple attended the reception but simply avoided the camera or skipped it completely. Nimben Palace has declined to comment.
Any possible honeymoon for the newlyweds, as well as patronages for the Duke of Asbury, have not been announced.
A extra special thank you to everyone who sent sims for Claire and Jim’s wedding!
