Sweating Buckets*

Working in hot climates (something we at The Mill have just experienced first hand) means you have real sweat in abundance pouring from your actor. When you work in colder climes but want it to look like the middle of the Sahara desert creating a long lasting, realistic and skin safe sweat effect isn't always easy. Some sweats are full of glycerine which can be irritating to skin and some simply vanish after one take. 

We at The Mill think we may have found the solution to your sweaty betty blues. The big brand on the market ‘Ultra’ have an amazing range of everything from pus, to dirt, snow and sweat. What we love about their sweat is it is easy to apply, can be decanted into smaller tubs for on set and has a great real sweat effect without looking greasy. It beads nicely and if you want to go for gold with your perspiration use it as a base and stipple a small amount of RCMA’s Sweat & Tears over the top, the two products work so well together.
