YAYYYYYY NEW BLOG TO BECOME THE CHARACTER ANON TO

hello i am sock anon and here are some of my headcanons

sock has a tooth gap and little fangs, jonathan has braces, and meph has big fangs (kind of like one person drew in the discord server)

Jonathan would listen to MSI RELIGIOUSLY. also sock knows all tha words to material girl by madonna.

jonathan's father is dead. he was a pretty chill fella, he cared a lot for Jonathan but he died of a heart attack when Jon was like 6 or 7. he went to heaven c:

dadstopheles, one day sock called him dad by accident and he never ever ever recovered. he had to take 10 minutes away from work directly afterwards.

sock's love languages are gift giving and physical affection, neither of which he can do reliably for Jonathan. (if you were wondering, Jon's is quality time and words of affection)

jojo died because she was in the wrong place at the wrong time. sock had killed a neighbor's pet, and she happened to be there when the neighbor opened fire in anger. the neighbor is in prison, and sock never forgave himself.

sock's movie tastes are either wreck it ralph or terrifier 3. no in between.

sock grew up in texas, not in the buttfuck of texas but in one of those more accepting nicer towns. obviously this show takes place in a fictional world, because if this were real he would have been dead way earlier for the crime of wearing a skirt.

Jonathan's diet consists of sandwiches and Lay's classic chips, as well as various sodas. And whatever his mom cooks, of course.

sock really loved his parents. he cried for 20 long minutes when he woke up.

Sock's nails are painted always. He usually chooses pastel rainbows. Jonathan's nails are black and he gets called slurs for it in school.

Jonathan is more likely to give the silent treatment.

Mephistopheles will often let Sock hang out in his office while he does work since Sock doesn't really disturb him much. One time Sock fell asleep there.

Providence is slightly irritated that everyone calls her a man all the time. Only slightly. She's more irritated at the way people use her to defend misogyny and such.

Lill would listen to Cool Kids by Echosmith SO MUCH.

Mephistopheles had wings a long time ago. He gets phantom pains often.

I'm a subscriber to the Jojo-Jonathan parallel theory.

sock partially regrets killing himself.

sock often asks mephistopheles what his life would have been like if he kept living. mephistopheles doesn't have an answer for him.

made some Shippy playlists cause I felt like it.

Here’s a sockathan vibes playlist. The songs are in no particular order they just sound right for their vibes. Like a little indie movie blossoming friendship vibes but also a little dark and angsty for Jonathan’s tsundre energy and socks homicidal crazy undertones.

now I did make a provelese playlist and this however has some thought to it. Lemme explain.

child of the stars by fish in a birdcage and everything matters by aurora is like their happy beginning stages. Providence is kinda enjoying calm and easy romance from the one she made to be her soulmate.

the line by twenty one pilots and heathens by aurora is when like meph starts to get a little irked by her creating humanity. The line is more of like the foreshadowing to his fall and heathens is him showing his colors although Providence still try’s to make things work.

Achilles come down by gang of youths is like when Mephistopheles fully starts meddling with humanity.

blood in the wine by auroua is like providences big “oh hell no. Get out!” Moment. She is pissed.

set fire to the rain by Hanna gill is the angsty angry grieving moment. Like here Providence is coming to terms with how Mephistopheles had his flaws and sins and forever gave humanity the capacity to sin and be flawed. Here is where I imagine meph has his fall from grace.

skinny love by birdie is the big “this just happened?!” moment for Mephistopheles. It’s like It’s still sinking in.

At fairytale by Alexander rybeck meph is like having his angsty grieving and reflective thoughts of like “what if I did it differently?”

by memento morí by fish in a birdcage he is fully mad she cut him off so abruptly. He’s begun holding a grudge.

Ophelia by the lumineers, big black car by Gregory Alan isakov, and the girl by the city and color are all the songs when meph and Providence are like coming to terms with it all and their respective places ruling hell and heaven. They don’t want to hold a grudge. At somewhere only we know by keane they are starting to rekindle that relationship but changed and different and with many more boundaries and not as carefree or deeply intimate as it once was. Their on friendly terms.

so this has been rebloged by the one and only Erica (ahahahah…whaaat?!!!) and I’ll just say like I based this off of whatever lore I could find but also it’s doctored with a good dose of fannon interpretation and headcannons so take this as you will. Also also I updated the playlists with some more songs. the new songs are placed next to songs with the same energy and meanings so it all still works.

Mephistopheles automatically changes trans and non binary people to their preferred bodies in the afterlife but Providence does not. She's not necessarily transphobic, she just doesn't understand why her "perfect creations" want to change anything about themself. Mean she was made in her perfect form, so that means everyone else would be too, right?

She respects pronouns and such but she does not change their physical forms to match their bodies. They have to ask another member of her council to change their bodies and they will do so, lamenting their bosses lack of foresight during the entire process.

For the record I didn't read it as transphobic, haha.

Anyway, I love this idea of Providence being well intentioned by not understanding how her creations could not just love themselves. I think Providence in that way would have an expansive view of gender where she affirms your gender no matter what body you're in and doesn't see how they are connected at all. Bc souls or whatever

But Mephistopheles has a more humanistic view and understands how a physical body can impact your experience of gender!

Idk I really really like this one. Has me thinking about trans allies and their opinions.
