On the floor, crying, begging, ive been searching and searching for anything about creating or trying to create an origami anurognathus. This man is so SO so shaped, it feels like it should be Impossible that theres Nothing origami'd about him- and yet i can find Nothing. My one hope is that someone more involved in the origami world might know more than i can find. Have you ever seen any patterns or models related to anurognathus or even just similarly shaped..?
Wow this guy sure has an incedible shape.... pug dino. I haven't been able to find an anurognathis model exactly either but! From what I see the main difference from other more common pteroaurs is the aforementioned pug like flat face. As such I think you moight be able to modify some other winged dino models? I've selected some under the cut If anyone want to chime in with more ideas please do :) @treesurface I know has folded some ancient guys, and perhaps @cctinsleybaxter has smth in his cambrian park
this quetzal already has a fairly flat face and a short stubby tail. I don't know if the short legs could be lengthened though
dimorphodon models already have a flatter rounder face, I think gomez's model especially could be modified a bit to be closer to your guy
this archeopterix has too big a wingspan but it's usually easier to make things smaller than bigger. The neck to head ration is closer than the dimorphodon earlier

Land of Scales: Tree PseudoSordes (PteroGekkoninae)
Flying between the ancient trees of the island's forest are small winged reptiles called PseudoSordes, deftly snapping up insects mid air and avoiding arboreal predators.
These descendants of hemidactylus geckos were mistaken as pterosaurs upon their initial discovery, having an extended wing finger much like the long extinct animal. Unlike the pterosaurs, PseudoSordes also have extended their ribs for their wings and kept their ancestral sticky feet. They spend much of their time clinging to surfaces, camouflaging with their nest trees, watching and waiting for the flutter of prey to snatch. They rarely ever, if at all, encounter the forest floor, with even their eggs having a sticky surface to latch to the moss layers of the thermal trees. Their main predators are large arboreal crabs, tree climbing young tyrants, larger PseudoSordes, and the occasional opportunistic Brontosaur.
Tree PseudoSordes colours vary from forest to forest, usually based on the trees they nest on. Cliff PseudoSordes are larger than their forest relatives and keep to the thermally warmed cliff-sides of the shores. They nest densely to protect against predators and feed primarily from small crabs and any large animal corpses that wash up on the beach. Hawk PseudoSordes are the largest known members of the group and specialize on hunting visiting sea birds and other PseudoSordes.
