Final design for animation
Finally finished my design for my animation. I created a design that represents my whanau journey. The manuah is made up of a puhoro design (split koru) with four koru. The centre two represent my mother and father and then each splits of and connects to the another koru representing their partners. Coming off of these lines is 11 smaller koru representing me and my siblings.

Concept Statement
Our design and experience in cooperation with Puhoro STEM Academy, in support of young Maori students. This design through a mobile transformational learning space focuses on engaging students with Maori deities. Our focus is on the Atua Tamanuitera, and telling of the story of his two wives, the summer maiden, Hine-Raumati and the winter maiden, Hine-Takurua. Through the story of Tama’s two wives we will engage students with information and interactive learning, bringing knowledge about how to keep one safe around the power of Tama in summer, and teachings of how to keep themselves healthy through the winter months in teachings around vitamin D and alternative ways of consuming vitamin D when the sun is as strong throughout these months.
