      in retrospect, it probably wasn’t the BEST idea to linger around the other for too long ; especially that she would probably try and kill him if not for the fact he needed her BOOKS to pass his classes. but to say that she was unattractive would most definitely be a LIE. his left hand on top of the book on the table, right hand touching her cheek ever so gently. his lips hovered above hers ( HE HAD A DEATHWISH, he was sure of it ), and just as they were about to brush, he smirked. if they had been any closer, tom would’ve been kissing tonks.      however, he tilted his head slightly, only to kiss the right corner of her mouth. for a brief moment, his lips lingered there, only for him to part a few centimeters away.       “ ... but i don’t KISS and tell. ”

      what was streaming down his cheeks? he wasn’t familiar with it, not at all. but on his blank expression, the hot tears seemed to burn LINES into his cheeks. “ i-i don’t...? “ he licked his lips, looking at the person who was standing before him. tom breathed out shakily ; he wasn’t supposed to FEEL like this, no, not at all, and not especially because of someone like her. he felt his features contort, as more tears stung at his eyes. “ NO, it wasn’t. ” it was all his fault. and no one could tell him other wise ( because no one can deny the truth ).
