while im at it neopronoun opposition is weird to me as a swedish person.. the whole debate is so anglocentric that they assume every language landed on the same solution they did, to reuse a plural pronoun as a gender neutral one and then they think any other solution is absurd or unheard of. what do you mean you just made another pronoun up you cant do that!! etc

coz its like here in the 2014 the swedish academy accepted 3rd person pronoun "hen" (as opposed to hon/han) like officially into our word list after it gained some popularity in the 2010s. like that is a NEOPRONOUN that someone just Came Up With in like the 60s and then people just started using it and now its just a recognized part of our language. sure we could've also reused our plural pronoun "de/dem" as a gender neutral one but we just made up a new one instead. and to like imply that mainstream use of a neopronoun is just UNHEARD OF and that neopronouns is something the mainstream could NEVER GET USED TO EVER!!! is... your perspective is very limited to the english speaking world is all i can say

i think to me one of the bigger differences between moffat and rtd is that moffat is often style over substance where it's all cool concept and visuals and ideas and everything but the actual meat of the episodes themselves and the resolutions and stories don't often feel as substantial. this isn't always the case of course. but even in the emotional and moving moments he seems more focused on writing lines that Sound deep rather than lines that feel like something a real person would say. and often it bangs enough that you let him get away with it but sometimes...

as for right now my only truely genuine complaint about chibnalls take on doctor who is that too little time is spent on fully exploring the dynamic and relationships between the doctor and her companions, which is unfortunate because that is truely the beating heart of the show otherwise. like there is very little There no serious conflict no big moments no development no nothing! why??

one of the saddest things abt wanting to learn to draw a variety of body types is that if you want to know how to draw muscular people the internet is your oyster theres a near endless amount of photos to use as reference in fact theres an entore profession dedicated to building muscle to show it off. if you want to learn to draw really skinny people you're in luck too because a lot of people with this body could not be more eager to show it off, showing exactly where the bones show and muscle shows through, showing exactly which parts are convex and concave and ok some of the photos you come across will be ED stuff but that's neither here nor there

but God Forbid you want to learn how draw a fat person. good reference images of a fat people are not only incredibly scarse, but even if you do the variety of bodies you find is not very impressive. when using any kind of plus size model they will nearly always favour those with desirable fat distribution, and the least amount of rolls and folds and lumps. and if you do find any project that uses a larger variety of fat models they're all in shapewear to compensate. oh you wanted to know how gravity affects a bigger stomach? you wanted to know exactly where backrolls tend to form? don't worry, we know no one wants to look at this undesirable features so we've removed them from your view permanently forever!!

even with amateur photography or just everyday people in the world (not that you should be ogling at strangers but you know) people with these features have been conditioned to be disgusted with them and hide them. the best resource for neutral and clear references images I've found to draw fat people is and i kid you not images for weight loss surgery. is that not sad? that the only place i could find a diverse set of bodies was for people planning to change it? (if any of you know a better resource PLEASSEEE LET ME KNOWWWWWWW)

even outside my own personal artistic pursuits and whatever it's just sad that people feel so distressed by their own bodies that they feel the need to hide them from the world to the point where no one even knows what they look like. like I understand we live in a world that favours a certain size and shape of body or whatever but is it not insane that a whole subtype of body is just supposed to be hidden away not in the public eye not anywhere??? its so absurd and unfair
