I have many thoughts about Forever as a character. (Talking only about him on the qsmp, since my knowledge about his past is very surface level)

Since the beginning he has been a protector, but when arriving to the island he really only wanted to do a fun big project with the desert thing and it was how he bonded with Richas. He was usually alone late at night but Richas was always there with him, joking and helping with the desert and that bond they acquired made him start to really love the eggs, then he watched Tallulah lose his first life, Bobby die even after the whole island got together for a hope of finding him.

So he built the ninho, gave his tears, sleep and blood to make the place and make it the most safe place for all of the eggs, he succeeded yes but soon the Cellbit betrayal came and he was lost, the person he trusted the most was working for the enemy, his mind was a nightmare and he hit Leo once (yes which was bad but, it was out of grief, out of hopelessness, he was having a mental breakdown and acted without thinking) the very next day he apologized, said sorry for his actions and accepted any consequences that came with them.

Then Cellbit was taken and the truth about the betrayal revealed, he got trusted into a position of being a leader in the order and he hated it, the pressure was too much, the expectations too great it was all too much, but he took it all and didn't let people see how much he was breaking with everything.

After Cellbit came back he seemed to be healing, happier and making more friends in the island until the elections happened and he decided to run for the position. Things got hard in the debates, but in the end he won somehow and now he is there, isolating more and more, alone with his thoughts and the millions of projects trusted upon him, trying to make people happy, trying to improve life for his friends and kids but all would be worth it in the end.

But now, the kids are gone and the pressure is all on HIM, people ask him for help, tell him to save them and he just goes "I don't know, I don't know" cause he truly doesn't, he lost his son too, he is a desperate father but the responsibilities won't let him grief in peace, so he tries and tries to talk to the federation, losing his mind by the hour and finally snapping.

The pressure on his shoulders was so great that it broke him, and now he is lost on his own head.

This is LITERALLY a Minecraft Roleplay Server that is supposed to bring people together. What Baghera was talking about was that her proposal for the presidency is that she creates a Council like Switzerland's Federal Council. Which is like the President's Cabinet for those in the USA. It had nothing to do with her mocking Brazilians or the injustice that Latinos receive. But when you roll with what you hear, of course, you twist words and take things out of context: AKA miscommunication. Baghera was just talking about her culture (Switzerland since she is not truly French) and how she could bring her culture into the QSMP via the QSMP elections and how she thinks that this portion of her culture is what the President of the QSMP should have. A shared power.

This is why the (trigger warning here) Dream SMP got so much hate: the constant misogyny, the twisting of words, and the fact that people could not distinguish between Roleplay and real life.

And another thing, BadBoyHalo was talking about was how the twisting of words and ideas is also another thing that people are doing. Bad had a conversation with Foolish a little bit ago and Bad have the idea of creating a "safe house" for the eggs. People believe that Bad talked to one more person about this, but I have no idea. One chatter said, "D: Forever stole your idea!" then Bad replied "Listen. Listen kid, chill." (2 hours and 32 minutes in his stream) Bad goes on to say that people can have the same ideas and get credit for it, but Forever was the one that created the NINHO and should get the most credit. But since that person only watches Bad then they automatically think that Forever stole Bad's idea.

If people watched more than one person's stream to see their personalities and how they act then you would see them as people and not characters that HAVE to be perfect in your mind. This is why fandoms get hate. This is also why Women don't flaunt their passions, interests, and culture to a crowd because they would probably receive the most hate than a man who does the exact same thing.

I'm happy that Quackity saw the discourse and decided to address it and talk with Baghera during this time. I hope Twitchcon is a safe place for Baghera and I hope she gets her well-deserved rest.

I'm here to talk about anarchy a bit ! so anarchy is a complex theory and it differs, but from what Charlie (slimecicle) said on his live, Gegg was an anarchosocialist, meaning he didn't believe in government and that he believes the workers should own the means of their own production - basically that the workers within a capitalist society produce the products (means) and the system cannot run without them, however under a capitalist system business is privately owned and so the company employers rather than workers own the means (profits basically). anarchists also are more likely to believe in direct action (protesting, destroying buildings, basically making you voice heard/threatening government) and unionising (workers striking refusing to work) because they believe that many voices are more powerful than an individual working within the government - anarchists also believe power should be shared, and there shouldn't be a central government, but instead a more community based system, but it differs on the anarchists philosophy how they want to achieve it. honestly I think gegg never meant to win and instead wanted to be a martyr to embolden the others to rise up against the federation

The idea of him staying on the server scares me. There’s already a bunch of fanfiction including him in the AO3 tag even though he’s never been on. All I can see is him and his fanbase completely stealing the spotlight away from everyone else.

This Minecraft election arc has been well thought out, well moderated, included a bunch of fun mini-events which appeal to the talkers and the fighters of the server alike, and is without a doubt one of the best Minecraft election arcs there’s been. With that being said, no-one needs to do one ever again the audience can NOT be normal about it and here at the finish line I feel pretty burnt out about the whole thing

If people do not treat Gegg as a symbol for anarchy and keep what he has said in mind and take his words as something serious and as inspiration instead of as a joke, I will be incredibly upset

I believe the elections will be rigged in Forever's favor not because of the sheer amount of Brazilians, this would be fine, but because there's screenshots circulating of a fan account encouraging people to create new email adresses to vote for him multiple times. I feel if he does win, it won't be fully legitimate. I also feel bad for Forever because he deserves to win on his own merits and not because someone encouraged cheating on his behalf.

I've been seeing ppl say the elections would be rigged if forever wins, and honestly it's obvious the community vote is going to be in his favour, the Brazilian community is really invested and as far as I know, ppl who don't really follow qsmp are also voting as like a patriotic move to "win" for their country, but to say it would be rigged is wrong.

I understand the fact that you want your communities to get the attention they deserve and I do believe everyone on the server deserves the same kind of attention, and I do understand the frustration of being underrepresented in this, or even the mild annoyance that comes with knowing ppl only vote for the character, not the program/didn't actually really try to understand other stances, but at the end of the day every vote counts. And if forever wins it will be rightfully so. In the end it's an election with community votes. Ofc it's not going to be balanced. Ofc not everyone will try to be objective abt the candidates, and choose regardless of their land.

And though I do believe it's not as much a 'hate Brazilians' thing as fans seem to think (bc to be fair I don't think internationally there is SPECIFICALLY a lot of hate against us- it's more of everyone hates everyone if even. It's also kinda weird how that's always what fans resort to, to explain everything.) but rather just helplessness at knowing your pick isn't going to even have a chance in community votes, it's kinda weird how when it's the same thing bc Americans have big communities no one seems to say it would be rigged- maybe bc the ones saying that rn are mostly american fans and when it's them they don't care.

I think everyone should just chill and join a small community for a bit. Just to get humble. And also, elections are always influenced by popularity- even irl <3

i love tommy, but he would be a terrible addition to the server if it was even for like a day or one livestream. i think that he would cause his usual chaos and it would not translate well to the other creators that don't know him and his style of content and cause a bit of a rift between the fanbase and creators. i also agree with the person that said that his fanbase might highjack the lore and stuff :/

i low key kinda hate when people feel the need to mention that the qsmp isn't real and that it's all roleplay because it reminds me that there are people out there who genuinely get mad at ccs and shit. like i have never ever seen this kind of behavior on tumblr and i think that kinda warnings should only be made on twitter anyway

I really hope they do that for other creators. There are so many ccs i wanna see on the qsmp but i know they can't because they won't be active that much. Though idk how theyre gonna explain this in lore if its a whole no one can get out situation.

I am getting a little fed up with the story as a whole of Qsmp. I understand that sometimes they have to useadmin powers to create a story where there is no hope against this big organization. But is getting a little tiring. It seems that everytime a player does an advencement in the lore or their personal story, it all gets taken down because it doesn't suit the narrative. What is the point of trying then?
