The QSMP Zine idea has not left my head (im partially blaming the drought but also i am the kind of person who goes "i would want this, therefore i should make it happen" and here we are) SO Behold! A QSMP Zine interest check! (for those of you new to zines, a fanzine is a collection of fanart, fanfic, and other creative works centered around a topic/theme that are collected and published together by a team of creators for their fellow fans to enjoy!) This interest check is for the QSMP Egg Zine I've mentioned before: A zine focused on each of the eggs (All of them! yes, even those we haven't seen in a very long time or have never met at all.) In this zine, every egg would have their story shared. Each egg will have their own section focused on them (with cameos from various islanders and other eggs!) where we get to showcase how great these little eggies are. This zine will be SFW, and only include canon ships, however it will allow for headcanons and speculative work (especially for eggs who have very little to no canon appearances or information.) If you are interested in this zine, please take a moment to fill out the interest form! Your answers will help to decide how this zine will be structured! If you have any questions, please feel free to include them at the end of the form. I'll do my best to answer any questions that people submit!

hello first of all im sorry for taking so long to reply!!

i also want to say thank you for thinking of me, it makes me very happy! but the fact is that i am currently very busy with university and honestly, i just haven’t been very motivated to create for the qsmp fandom lately. so I don’t really trust myself to make something that I’ll be proud of at the moment.

i read through the posts on the zine blog and i know that the sign up period hasnt officially opened yet, so if i end up changing my mind in the future there’s still time to join.

for now, though, I don’t think i will be participating ^^ thank you for the ask and i hope the project goes smoothly!

We want to make our stance on Forever very clear: we do not support him in any regard.

However, this situation has impacted some decision-making for the art book that we would like to inform you all about.

Hello everyone,

Keeping in mind the serious allegations surrounding Forever, as well as his subsequent dismissal from the QSMP, the Isla y Ovos moderation team would like to make our stance clear: we do not support Forever in any respect. We do not condone his actions, nor the things he has done or said. Our hearts truly go out to all those who have been affected by this situation, especially victims of harrassment and grooming.

The Isla y Ovos team want to make it clear that we are working with our artists; they are and always have been allowed the creative control to remove any character they're not comfortable with depicting in their zine-related works. That being said, all the artists in this project have been working hard on their pieces for the last 3-4 months, with the final work deadline scheduled for the end of January. Our mod team cannot, in good faith, force anyone to remake their art. Therefore, depictions of Forever's QSMP character may still be present within the final art book.

Please understand that this decision did not come easily and only after much deliberation between our mods and the artists involved. We wish to respect our artists' time and efforts. We will also be including a disclaimer to the art book that all artworks are depictions of fictional characters, though we realize this understates the gravity of Forever's actions.

Be assured, any future projects from the Isla y Ovos team will exlude all depictions of Forever and/or his QSMP character.

If you have been affected by this, please be sure to reach out to your loved ones/people you trust. Take care of yourselves, your health always comes first.
