On February 10, employees at the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) received an email asking them to list every contract at the bureau and note whether or not it was “critical” to the agency, as well as whether it contained any DEI components. This email was signed by Scott Langmack, who identified himself as a senior adviser to the so-called Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). Langmack, according to his LinkedIn, already has another job: He’s the chief operating officer of Kukun, a property technology company that is, according to its website, “on a long-term mission to aggregate the hardest to find data.”
As is the case with other DOGE operatives—Tom Krause, for example, is performing the duties of the fiscal assistant secretary at the Treasury while holding down a day job as a software CEO at a company with millions in contracts with the Treasury—this could potentially create a conflict of interest, especially given a specific aspect of his role: According to sources and government documents reviewed by WIRED, Langmack has application-level access to some of the most critical and sensitive systems inside HUD, one of which contains records mapping billions of dollars in expenditures.
Another DOGE operative WIRED has identified is Michael Mirski, who works for TCC Management, a Michigan-based company that owns and operates mobile home parks across the US, and graduated from the Wharton School in 2014. (In a story he wrote for the school’s website, he asserted that the most important thing he learned there was to “Develop the infrastructure to collect data.”) According to the documents, he has write privileges on—meaning he can input overall changes to—a system that controls who has access to HUD systems.
Between them, records reviewed by WIRED show, the DOGE operatives have access to five different HUD systems. According to a HUD source with direct knowledge, this gives the DOGE operatives access to vast troves of data. These range from the individual identities of every single federal public housing voucher holder in the US, along with their financial information, to information on the hospitals, nursing homes, multifamily housing, and senior living facilities that HUD helps finance, as well as data on everything from homelessness rates to environmental and health hazards to federally insured mortgages.
Put together, experts and HUD sources say, all of this could give someone with access unique insight into the US real estate market.
Kukun did not respond to requests for comment about whether Langmack is drawing a salary while working at HUD or how long he will be with the department. A woman who answered the phone at TCC Management headquarters in Michigan but did not identify herself said Mirksi was "on leave until July." In response to a request for comment about Langmack’s access to systems, HUD spokesperson Kasey Lovett said, “DOGE and HUD are working as a team; to insinuate anything else is false. To further illustrate this unified mission, the secretary established a HUD DOGE taskforce.” In response to specific questions about Mirski’s access to systems and background and qualifications, she said, “We have not—and will not—comment on individual personnel. We are focused on serving the American people and working as one team.”
The property technology, or proptech, market covers a wide range of companies offering products and services meant to, for example, automate tenant-landlord interactions, or expedite the home purchasing process. Kukun focuses on helping homeowners and real estate investors assess the return on investment they’d get from renovating their properties and on predictive analytics that model where property values will rise in the future.
Doing this kind of estimation requires the use of what’s called an automated valuation model (AVM), a machine-learning model that predicts the prices or rents of certain properties. In April 2024, Kukun was one of eight companies selected to receive support from REACH, an accelerator run by the venture capital arm of the National Association of Realtors (NAR). Last year NAR agreed to a settlement with Missouri homebuyers, who alleged that realtor fees and certain listing requirements were anticompetitive.
“If you can better predict than others how a certain neighborhood will develop, you can invest in that market,” says Fabian Braesemann, a researcher at the Oxford Internet Institute. Doing so requires data, access to which can make any machine-learning model more accurate and more monetizable. This is the crux of the potential conflict of interest: While it is unclear how Langmack and Mirski are using or interpreting it in their roles at HUD, what is clear is that they have access to a wide range of sensitive data.
According to employees at HUD who spoke to WIRED on the condition of anonymity, there is currently a six-person DOGE team operating within the department. Four members are HUD employees whose tenures predate the current administration and have been assigned to the group; the others are Mirski and Langmack. The records reviewed by WIRED show that Mirski has been given read and write access to three different HUD systems, as well as read-only access to two more, while Langmack has been given read and write access to two of HUD’s core systems.
A positive, from one source’s perspective, is the fact that the DOGE operatives have been given application-level access to the systems, rather than direct access to the databases themselves. In theory, this means that they can only interact with the data through user interfaces, rather than having direct access to the server, which could allow them to execute queries directly on the database or make unrestricted or irreparable changes. However, this source still sees dangers inherent in granting this level of access.
“There are probably a dozen-plus ways that [application-level] read/write access to WASS or LOCCS could be translated into the entire databases being exfiltrated,” they said. There is no specific reason to think that DOGE operatives have inappropriately moved data—but even the possibility cuts against standard security protocols that HUD sources say are typically in place.
LOCCS, or Line of Credit Control System, is the first system to which both DOGE operatives within HUD, according to the records reviewed by WIRED, have both read and write access. Essentially HUD’s banking system, LOCCS “handles disbursement and cash management for the majority of HUD grant programs,” according to a user guide. Billions of dollars flow through the system every year, funding everything from public housing to disaster relief—such as rebuilding from the recent LA wildfires—to food security programs and rent payments.
The current balance in the LOCCS system, according to a record reviewed by WIRED, is over $100 billion—money Congress has approved for HUD projects but which has yet to be drawn down. Much of this money has been earmarked to cover disaster assistance and community development work, a source at the agency says.
Normally, those who have access to LOCCS require additional processing and approvals to access the system, and most only have “read” access, department employees say.
“Read/write is used for executing contracts and grants on the LOCCS side,” says one person. “It normally has strict banking procedures around doing anything with funds. For instance, you usually need at least two people to approve any decisions—same as you would with bank tellers in a physical bank.”
The second system to which documents indicate both DOGE operatives at HUD have both read and write access is the HUD Central Accounting and Program System (HUDCAPS), an “integrated management system for Section 8 programs under the jurisdiction of the Office of Public and Indian Housing,” according to HUD. (Section 8 is a federal program administered through local housing agencies that provides rental assistance, in the form of vouchers, to millions of lower-income families.) This system was a precursor to LOCCS and is currently being phased out, but it is still being used to process the payment of housing vouchers and contains huge amounts of personal information.
There are currently 2.3 million families in receipt of housing vouchers in the US, according to HUD’s own data, but the HUDCAPS database contains information on significantly more individuals because historical data is retained, says a source familiar with the system. People applying for HUD programs like housing vouchers have to submit sensitive personal information, including medical records and personal narratives.
“People entrust these stories to HUD,” the source says. “It’s not data in these systems, it’s operational trust.”
WASS, or the Web Access Security Subsystem, is the third system to which DOGE has both read and write access, though only Mirski has access to this system according to documents reviewed by WIRED. It’s used to grant permissions to other HUD systems. “Most of the functionality in WASS consists of looking up information stored in various tables to tell the security subsystem who you are, where you can go, and what you can do when you get there,” a user manual says.
“WASS is an application for provisioning rights to most if not all other HUD systems,” says a HUD source familiar with the systems who is shocked by Mirski’s level of access, because normally HUD employees don’t have read access, let alone write access. “WASS is the system for setting permissions for all of the other systems.”
In addition to these three systems, documents show that Mirski has read-only access to two others. One, the Integrated Disbursement and Information System (IDIS), is a nationwide database that tracks all HUD programs underway across the country. (“IDIS has confidential data about hidden locations of domestic violence shelters,” a HUD source says, “so even read access in there is horrible.”) The other is the Financial Assessment of Public Housing (FASS-PH), a database designed to “measure the financial condition of public housing agencies and assess their ability to provide safe and decent housing,” according to HUD’s website.
All of this is significant because, in addition to the potential for privacy violations, knowing what is in the records, or even having access to them, presents a serious potential conflict of interest.
“There are often bids to contract any development projects,” says Erin McElroy, an assistant professor at the University of Washington. “I can imagine having insider information definitely benefiting the private market, or those who will move back into the private market,” she alleges.
HUD has an oversight role in the mobile home space, the area on which TCC Management, which appears to have recently wiped its website, focuses. "It’s been a growing area of HUD’s work and focus over the past few decades," says one source there; this includes setting building standards, inspecting factories, and taking in complaints. This presents another potential conflict of interest.
Braesemann says it’s not just the insider access to information and data that could be a potential problem, but that people coming from the private sector may not understand the point of HUD programs. Something like Section 8 housing, he notes, could be perceived as not working in alignment with market forces—“Because there might be higher real estate value, these people should be displaced and go somewhere else”—even though its purpose is specifically to buffer against the market.
Like other government agencies, HUD is facing mass purges of its workforce. NPR has reported that 84 percent of the staff of the Office of Community Planning and Development, which supports homeless people, faces termination, while the president of a union representing HUD workers has estimated that up to half the workforce could be cut The chapter on housing policy in Project 2025—the right-wing playbook to remake the federal government that the Trump administration appears to be following—outlines plans to massively scale back HUD programs like public housing, housing assistance vouchers, and first-time home buyer assistance.

Space Shuttle: Canadarm

Officially named the Shuttle Remote Manipulator System, or SRMS. "In 1969, Canada was invited by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) to participate in the Space Shuttle program. At the time what that participation would entail had not yet been decided but a manipulator system was identified as an important component. Canadian company DSMA ATCON had developed a robot to load fuel into CANDU nuclear reactors; this robot attracted NASA's attention. In 1975, NASA and the Canadian National Research Council (NRC) signed a memorandum of understanding that Canada would develop and construct the Canadarm.
NRC awarded the manipulator contract to Spar Aerospace (now MDA). Three systems were constructed within this design, development, test, and evaluation contract: an engineering model to assist in the design and testing of the Canadarm, a qualification model that was subjected to environmental testing to qualify the design for use in space, and a flight unit."
"The Remote Manipulator System is plugged on a side panel (left side) of the pyaload bay. The shoulder is on the front (near the cabin) and 15.3 m long (35.7 cm of diameter). It is fasten by three points on the payload bay. It could have been plugged on the right side of the Orbiter but it has never be done because the Ku antenna must be moved. Only one arm can be controlled by the crew (rear wall), even if the wires are already plugged to control two.

Its weight is 411 kg on Earth (carbon fibre), it can move payload of 29 tons in orbit. But it can't move its own weight on Earth, so to test it, it was lay on wheels. Equipped with video camera (one on the elbow and one wrist), it can move payload, bring them back or even act as a ladder for the astronauts during the EVAs. Finally, due to its high mobility it can also be used to look at different parts of the Orbiter."

"The first Canadarm was delivered to NASA in April 1981. Astronaut Judith Resnik developed the NASA software and onboard operating procedures for the system. In all, five arms – Nos. 201, 202, 301, 302, and 303 – were built and delivered to NASA. Arm 302 was lost in the Challenger accident."

Pain emerges as dominant symptom in long Covid, UCL study reveals - Published Aug 28, 2024
Pain may be the most prevalent and severe symptom reported by individuals with long Covid, according to a new study led by UCL (University College London) researchers.
The study, published in JRSM Open, analysed data from over 1,000 people in England and Wales who logged their symptoms on an app between November 2020 and March 2022.
Pain, including headache, joint pain and stomach pain, was the most common symptom, reported by 26.5% of participants.
The other most common symptoms were neuropsychological issues such as anxiety and depression (18.4%), fatigue (14.3%), and dyspnoea (shortness of breath) (7.4%). The analysis found that the intensity of symptoms, particularly pain, increased by 3.3% on average each month since initial registration.
The study also examined the impact of demographic factors on the severity of symptoms, revealing significant disparities among different groups. Older individuals were found to experience much higher symptom intensity, with those aged 68-77 reporting 32.8% more severe symptoms, and those aged 78-87 experiencing an 86% increase in symptom intensity compared to the 18-27 age group.
Gender differences were also pronounced, with women reporting 9.2% more intense symptoms, including pain, than men. Ethnicity further influenced symptom severity, as non-white individuals with long Covid reported 23.5% more intense symptoms, including pain, compared to white individuals.
The study also explored the relationship between education levels and symptom severity. Individuals with higher education qualifications (NVQ level 3, 4, and 5 – equivalent to A-levels or higher education) experienced significantly less severe symptoms, including pain, with reductions of 27.7%, 62.8%, and 44.7% for NVQ levels 3, 4 and 5 respectively, compared to those with lower education levels (NVQ level 1-2 – equivalent to GCSEs).
Socioeconomic status, as measured by the Index of Multiple Deprivation (IMD), also influenced symptom intensity. Participants from less deprived areas reported less intense symptoms than those from the most deprived areas. However, the number of symptoms did not significantly vary with socioeconomic status, suggesting that while deprivation may exacerbate symptom intensity, it does not necessarily lead to a broader range of symptoms.
Our study highlights pain as a predominant self-reported symptom in long Covid, but it also shows how demographic factors appear to play a significant role in symptom severity.
With ongoing occurrences of Covid-19 (e.g., LB.1, or D-FLiRT variants), the potential for more long Covid cases remains a pressing concern. Our findings can help shape targeted interventions and support strategies for those most at risk."
-Dr. David Sunkersing, Lead Author, UCL Institute of Health Informatics
In the paper, the researchers called for sustained support for long Covid clinics and the development of treatment strategies that prioritize pain management, alongside other prevalent symptoms like neuropsychological issues and fatigue.
Given the significant impact of demographic factors on symptom severity, the study underscored the need for healthcare policies that addressed these disparities, ensuring equitable care for all individuals affected by long Covid, the researchers said.
Study limitations included a lack of information on other health conditions participants may have had and a lack of information about health history. The researchers cautioned that the study may have excluded individuals with very severe Covid and those facing technological or socioeconomic barriers in accessing a smartphone app.
The study was led by the UCL Institute of Health Informatics and the Department of Primary Care and Population Health at UCL in collaboration with the software developer, Living With Ltd.

Tuesday 12th December 2023
End of September: I quit my first proper tech job after 2 years.
End of October: I applied for university on a whim and got a place.
Start of December: Randomly got a new tech job without searching.
God blessing me left, right, and center?! That's just a summary of what's been happening the past few months. I will go into more detail below~!
Here are some tips for talking to people on LinkedIn: post 💕
If you're wondering how I got here in terms of my coding journey: video | post 💕
End of September
I quit my job because it was getting tiring and I couldn't see any chance of me developing there. I will forever be grateful for the opportunity to do my apprenticeship with them and then go on to become their Jr Web Developer - but from there, everything felt static. When the projects being given were getting absolutely boring, I knew then I needed some kind of change. So, I just quit. I said on a Monday I was quitting and that same Friday, I left. Politely and respectfully, of course.
End of October
I was so random how I did this but my Dad suggested for me to apply to university. I told him I didn't even have the right qualifications they wanted. He said "Bet". We looked at the local universities and none mentioned any apprenticeship certifications but mentioned work experience in the field. I applied with that knowledge. Wrote the cringiest personal statement about why the universities should accept me - and it worked. I got into the university of my city which seemed super prestigious to me, 18-year-old me would be screaming that I got a place at the university that I deemed for super smart people.
I made a post about it: link 💕
Start of December
My plan now was to wait until university next September 2024. I planned to relax, level up my current skills by myself or helping via volunteering, and maybe get a few certificates (because I love my name on certificates), and, most importantly: catch up on some anime shows - which I did complete:
Ushio & Tora: 2nd Season
Hunter x Hunter
Vinland Saga
JOJO Part 5 (again)
Jujutsu Kaisen 2nd Season (still watching)
Basically, I was supposed to relax until around February time, then start looking for a new job - tech or non-tech.
!! At this point, I was not looking for a new job !!
Last Tuesday I got a message from a recruiter on LinkedIn saying my profile was cool and would love to help me get an interview for a Frontend Software Engineer position in the city. I had a hunch to tell him I was okay and wasn't looking for a new job right now, but I was getting bored recently and this to me was an exciting new thing to do, so I said yeah why not!
The meeting was on the following Thursday and I met the IT manager. He liked me (same back to him) and wanted me to meet the team next Monday (yesterday). Afterward, I was feeling "Oh wait this is getting serious, I'm only here on a whim, like I'm actually doing good?" so I thought "Okay let's make an effort on the next 'interview'!!".
Monday came and I met the funniest set of people ever in a tech team. Then I thought "Lowkey highkey... would be so cool to work here~!" and the feedback I got was really positive. I got the job. Today I talked to their HR to finalise things.
All of this is thanks to the Almighty God, Lord Jesus, and the Holy Spirit of course~~! 🥰🙏🏾☦️

Smart I: Investors must commit a minimum of THB 20 million in a Thai business.
Smart E: Executives must hold a senior position in a company operating in a targeted industry.
Smart S: Startup founders must have an innovative business model and secure approval from a recognized Thai startup incubator or accelerator.
Financial Requirements: Applicants must demonstrate sufficient financial resources to support themselves and their dependents during their stay in Thailand.
Health Insurance: Applicants must have health insurance coverage of at least USD 50,000 for the duration of their stay.
Application Process
The Smart Visa application process involves several steps, each requiring careful preparation and documentation. Below is a detailed breakdown:
1. Pre-Application Preparation
Identify the appropriate Smart Visa category based on your qualifications and objectives.
Gather all required documents, including proof of qualifications, financial statements, and health insurance.
2. Submission of Application
Submit the application through the Thailand Board of Investment (BOI) or the One Start One Stop Investment Center (OSOS).
Pay the application fee, which varies depending on the visa category.
3. Review and Approval
The BOI reviews the application and conducts due diligence to verify the applicant's eligibility.
If approved, the BOI issues a Smart Visa endorsement letter.
4. Visa Issuance
Present the endorsement letter and supporting documents to the Thai Immigration Bureau.
Pay the visa fee and receive the Smart Visa.
5. Registration and Reporting
Upon arrival in Thailand, register your address with the Immigration Bureau.
Submit periodic reports as required by the visa conditions.
Benefits of the Smart Visa
The Smart Visa offers a range of exclusive benefits designed to attract and retain high-potential individuals and businesses:
Extended Stay Periods:
Smart Visa holders can stay in Thailand for up to 4 years, with the option to renew.
This is significantly longer than traditional visas, which typically allow stays of 1 year or less.
Work Authorization:
Smart Visa holders are authorized to work in Thailand without the need for a separate work permit.
This simplifies the process for professionals and executives employed by Thai companies.
Multiple Entries:
The Smart Visa allows unlimited entries and exits from Thailand, providing flexibility for international travel.

Spouses and children of Smart Visa holders are eligible for dependent visas, allowing them to live and study in Thailand.
Streamlined Processes:
The Smart Visa application process is faster and more efficient than traditional visa routes.
Dedicated support is available through the BOI and OSOS.
Tax Incentives:
Smart Visa holders may be eligible for tax exemptions or reductions on personal income earned in Thailand.
Strategic Considerations for Applicants
While the Smart Visa offers numerous advantages, prospective applicants should consider the following factors to maximize their chances of success:
Industry Alignment: Ensure that your qualifications, experience, and business activities align with Thailand's targeted industries.
Documentation: Prepare comprehensive and accurate documentation to support your application, including proof of qualifications, financial resources, and health insurance.
Professional Assistance: Engage a qualified immigration lawyer or consultant to navigate the application process and address any challenges.
Long-Term Planning: Consider your long-term goals and how the Smart Visa can support your personal and professional objectives in Thailand.
Compliance: Adhere to all visa conditions, including reporting requirements and health insurance obligations, to maintain your Smart Visa status.
Recent Developments and Trends
Since its launch, the Smart Visa program has undergone several updates to enhance its appeal and effectiveness:
Expansion of Targeted Industries: The Thai government has expanded the list of targeted industries to include emerging sectors such as artificial intelligence, robotics, and fintech.

Increased Focus on Startups: The Smart S category has been strengthened to attract more innovative startups and foster Thailand's startup ecosystem.
Partnerships with Incubators: The BOI has partnered with leading Thai and international incubators to identify and support high-potential startups.
Challenges and Limitations
Despite its many benefits, the Smart Visa program is not without challenges:
Stringent Eligibility Criteria: The program's high standards may exclude some qualified individuals and businesses.
Limited Awareness: Many potential applicants are unaware of the Smart Visa and its benefits, limiting its reach.
Administrative Complexity: The application process, while streamlined compared to traditional visas, can still be complex and time-consuming.
Dependence on BOI Approval: The BOI's approval process is subjective and may result in inconsistencies.
Conclusion
The Thailand Smart Visa is a transformative initiative that reflects the country's commitment to innovation, technology, and foreign investment. By offering extended stay periods, work authorization, and streamlined processes, the Smart Visa provides a compelling opportunity for highly skilled professionals, investors, executives, and startup founders to contribute to Thailand's economic growth. However, the program's stringent eligibility criteria and administrative complexities require careful planning and preparation. By understanding the requirements, leveraging professional assistance, and aligning with Thailand's strategic priorities, prospective applicants can unlock the full potential of the Smart Visa and achieve their personal and professional goals in the Kingdom. As Thailand continues to evolve its immigration policies, the Smart Visa will remain a cornerstone of its efforts to attract global talent and investment.

Stranger Than Fiction (The unfinished Autobiography)
OwO)b
Growing up was fine; I've always had this pit of anxiety in my stomach that I would always be worthless.
A mix of growing up poor with an undereducated and dysfunctional family; we were the definition of Trailer Trash.
I always wanted to be helpful and to work towards a goal that mattered. And I love the internet, technology, and Video Games.
Thanks to the "No Child Left Behind" act, I made it to Graduation. While all my teachers assumed I cheated on my Exams ... Because when did I have the time to study if I never did my homework and spent all my time playing Video Games.
Classes were boring; the same classes over and over and over again.
And my friends were... oK; but I always felt alienated and never could figure out why.
So I stayed in my room a lot; and played video games and studied the things I actually wanted to; like software and tech support.
Turns out; studying what I want worked better than anything the teachers could do in effort to teach me. Anything from Art to Music to Software Programming (which they didn't even want to let me do because I wasn't good at math. Programming taught me math.)
My parents afforded to Purchase 2000$ gaming PC my mother Frequently used to play the Sims while I would get on whenever I could manage and she wasn't playing.
I'm greatful for that.
I worked at Taco Bell for a few years before being unable to afford College or the attention span to keep a Job in Web Development. It was an Indie job anyway; my employer couldn't afford to keep me on.
So I joined the Air Force at the prompting of one my highschool friends who didn't want to Join alone. I ended up becoming an Aircraft Mechanic and Electrician on the B-1; with a Top Secret clearance I didn't need.
I never told anybody until I left the military; my coworkers thought I was lie-bragging. Mostly because I scored one of the highest scores on the ASVAB yet... Was placed in a Career field that required much much lower.
And here's something I only learned recently; I *was* the [Top Secret] that's why I needed the clearance. They fudged the numbers on my software scores on purpose to put me near the B-1s.
Only a certain Security Manager knew the truth.
The reason I needed to be Top Secret was *because* of my Online records. They believed I was either a Hacker or could become one; but what they needed was Intelligent maintenance professionals on the B1 specifically.
Because despite it being a "Lower Qualification" job; The electricians on the B1 sucked at fixing the B1. They were excellent everywhere else except the B1.
It was a Security Risk to put me so close to the [Top Secret] knowing my background and skill; but the value was to great to the mission.
I performed so well, that I *was* one of a handful of maintainers who actually managed to pull the Squadron up to be one of the Top Performers anywhere in the Air Force.
They Say [Group Performance] on those medals, Because I was part of the Best. And here's the Secret; I didn't get anymore *because* They *were* MY medals.
It wasn't until much later when we were permitted to wear fewer medals than every single one; and a certain... Commander... Who was upset at me saw this "Baby Face Staff Sergeant" Complaining about *My* Disability Rating when there was a PERSON IN A WHEEL CHAIR WHO COULDN'T WALK WITH A LOWER DISABILITY RATING LOWER THAN MINE working for him.
Except he remembered my Three Ribbons. Two BS medals everyone gets....and one with more "Clusters" on it than anyone else has ever had on that ribbon.
Because that *was* my accomplishment.
This stuck with him.
Back in Time to the B-1s; I was so good at my Job and So Valuable according to Heuristics and Lengthy investigations that even though my leadership kept pilling paperwork and LoCs (never LoRs) don't worry about those acronyms. They're a military thing.
And their leadership was calling *them* idiots.
Why? My Ribbon rack told a story nobody bothered to read; because they were constantly reading my EPRS.
During this I had started playing FFXIV, and was building websites in my free time and coding random frameworks. Because I wasn't allowed to go to college to study it because I hadn't finished my Associates in Electrical work.
Let's say I had a reputation. But at the level I played video games at; Everyone had a reputation; they just weren't self-aware.
On my drives to work I would sing, back and forth, everyday. I liked singing. I liked music. But my Job has priority and my side-hustles took precedence.
It was at this time some Assholes started Doxing me. Turns out; some sponsored channels started stealing my streams.
Ooo the Greed. Came to bite you in the ass didn't it?
I was competing on the Same Level as paid Streamers and Sponsored players; and wow they didn't like me.
But that ire was a double-edged sword wasn't it? You lost viewer because they lost faith in you, and were sick of the Toxicity.
So, What would any *Good* Yoshi-P-Sensei do? Issued takedowns of your content, but never mine.
Ooo that made them so angry.
So angry they Tried to issue a takedown of my singular video where I played "The Man Who Sold the World" as a challenge to my brother... The better guitarist of the two of us.
How Ironic. Remember; I don't watch streams of gamers because I get Jealous. I might watch them to learn a mechanic I'm having trouble with; but not more than that.
They recruited a few friends accounts to harass me, Disband several FCs, and then tried to do it again, and again, and again... And ensured everybody wanted nothing to do with me.
But you know what? The ignored Casuals in the Party Finder didn't know that until somebody told them. And by then it was too late; They all knew how skilled I was as I carried team after team after team after team across the finish line, while the "Good Players" would only insult them.
During my rise to Fame I was wholesale unaware of, because; you know; FIGHTING FOR YOUR FREEDOM TO DOX ME, YOU ASSHATS.
I was involved in an incident overseas. Remember; I'm the GOAT maintenance guy too. And my coworkers thought very little of me. They sent 3 people to augment us, because I went to the Mental Health Clinic complaining about burnout.
Our team felt insulted. Because we were keeping up. But why were we keeping up?
Every little thing I did was heavily scrutinized, and they came to the same conclusion the higher ups did; The ONLY reason these Planes are even in the Air is because SSgt Hicks is here.
I wasn't aware of that as my Facebook feeds started showing the news of a Hospital manned by Doctors without borders overseas that got bombed.
...I was the reason these Plane's were flying...
This feed targeted me. I think it was intentional. On Facebook I got a lot of "Go back home!" Which bled into the American Facebook Media, and caused a firestorm of racist assumptions.
Now I was public enemy number one. Thanks to the Doxing, The attention, The Hate, The Death Threats, Fucking Trumpets. And now hate from those I was protecting.
My mental health deteriorated greatly. This is when the GERD and throwing up started. When my Arthritis started.
When My Stomache Cancer started [Citation Needed]
The doctors Told me I had Anklyosing Spondylitis, and I was effectively going to turn into the next Stephen Hawkins... And not in the good way... But hey; maybe the good way too.
I deleted Facebook. Everybody I knew assumed I blocked them; every single person I knew thought I blocked them because of the previous Doxing.
Nobody cared that I disappeared. Except Two visits... Which I can't prove was because they actually cared about seeing me.
I only had my raid group left. And a player I admired but never really spoke with. We would simply stare at each other. Hoping that something could change that we could meet.
She couldn't approach me, she was Famous in her home country, and just being seen with me would've destroyed her career. Something she had thought was over when she was younger and had built from scratch.
We were both miserable.
I knew that other players didn't really like me, but I always had great success in the Party Finder. Not without assholes jumping in to fail-troll.
Until I started giving all the other "casual" players instructions with the same energy as a "Bored Tour Guide".
And then; they started protecting me from my reputation.
But that was the end;
The Ire got really bad when My raid groups got doxed AF. Some players even started to assume the Doxing started when I was kicked out of the Group. Players who had non-competitive-streams caught A LOT of flack. They had nearly lost their house and something had to go, The Stress or their Lives. I do t blame them..but shit; give me a God damn heads-up.
After they removed me the Doxing shifted back to me and only me. And they were frustrated, they thought they were playing games with hackers I had hired, they always think I'm stupid rich despite them using the same services which stole our money.
They were playing games with the NSA, CIA, FBI, and ATF. Ooo boy.
Please remember; I wasn't cognizant of all this until Some asshole hired not one, but two hit-men against me. And those are just the ones I know of *so far*.
What a waste of your viewers donations. Fucking assholes.
The witness protection Program unofficially started when I was hired to the software development squadron in Utah.
How wonderful; I seem to meet exactly all the requirements for this position and they seem excited to have me!
And everybody else who has magical Hogwarts invitations. Guess who they were connected to?
Wanna guess how?
Wanna know why we all got sent to his Job and hated each other? Until we saw the good work everybody else was doing, and by the. It was too late, because Melin dipped.
Either we were Targets of Isis because our work is so damn Good, or we all got Doxed by the same dumbasses stealing our stuff.
Which YouTube funded them and took our videos offline for "copyright infringement."
We couldn't leave if we wanted to, and we wanted to.
And this is how we got hired. They laid the bait and we took it. Like we ALWAYS DO.
We're a group of the smartest dumbasses.
But that wasn't the end of it or I wouldn't be here.
Some asshat stole a bag of camera equipment from our Squadron and dumped it on base. Causing a bomb Threat, and equipment recovery.
Is Melin a Terrorist? Why does she have Top Secret Clearance despite never needing it? Why won't leadership do anything about it?
Because Melin is the reason we have [Top Performer] ribbons. Melin is always the reason.
That's what they tell me anyway; I still don't believe it.
Who the fuck took a bag of cameras to dump it in a road?
And then; Somebody dropped a Bag with an AirTag in it in front of my apartment. I looked at it; and my training told me; Either this is an IED and this is where I die, or it just belongs to some dumbass Airman.
The cops were called to investigate my apartment. It was an EPIC FAIL of a frame job; when the Bag magically showed up outside my apartment with me still in it.
It was about this time Jon Stewart got an apartment behind me, Blasted music, Smoked WAY TOO MUCH WEED, and asked me about the burgeoning Civil War most news hosts thought was a joke ABOUT a Marvel Movie they were getting over on "Dumb Conservatives".
Ah weren't we all surprised.
Anyway; I feel like he was the cover for this observation activity. Either they were gonna catch me doing some shit, harass me into doing some shit, or find out why this shit keeps happening.
But I kept Teaching Casuals. I cleared better with Casuals. Always. Because they ABP (Always Be Practicing)
My raid groups always got mentally annihilated into not being able to play.
I didn't realize it was my fault.
Playing with Casuals and continually swapping groups did two things for me. Proved I could clear ANY GROUP IN PARTY FINDER. AND ruined the careers of many a troll streamer trying to get them easy bucks.
Oh. But it was *My* fault wasn't it?
Dave Chappelle's latest special aired on Netflix. His career nearly ruined when he was run out of Comedy Central for asking for what he was owed.
And it was *One* voice on Netflix who kindly left a comment that was different from all the 5-Star ratings the TV show with his name on it.
From User-Melin;
Please pay Dave Chapelle for his work or take this down.
Who the fuck does this? My fellow Millenials know. This is what the internet was like before all that money started appearing and causing so much damage. We banded together against the big bad. We started "Cancel Culture" and then it became profitable and we weren't assholes using it to make money.
Free Money Buttons destroy people's lives.
My coworkers knew more about me and the situation than anybody else.
Except this new Security Manager... Who conveniently didn't renew my security clearance this time. When I asked the mental health clinic for diagnosis and Trans health care.
And then I saw a very unflattering video of me on PornHub... Was this to scare me? Warn me? Whatever the reasons; it was not very Fap-worthy.
I quickly switched the video to something more Fap-worthy. And then there was another one! Also not very Fap-worthy. These people suck at recording people without their knowledge...
Whatever; Asian Lesbian porn please.
More me? Guess it's time to go back to the ol-reliable E-Hentai.
Now I didn't know where this came from, but It wasn't the first time I spotted a conveniently targeted video... I assumed it was my asshole of a neighbor who was getting evicted for having a Fog Machine of Weed in his apartment apparently.
Somebody so clumsy would get canceled soon enough right? RIGHT? WHAT THE FUCK IS CANCEL CULTURE FOR IF ITS NOT TARGETING PEOPLE WHO REALLY DESERVE IT?
Turns out it was a set-up. The AF evicted me under my own volition by giving me twelve different reasons to leave. I was left on my own as the three-letter-agencies took over.
Was Melin a terrorist? Or was it something else?
I'm writing this, and they've told me; "No dude, you saved yourself." We just watched and you gave us the Ammo AFTER YOUR LIFE WAS ALREADY IN DANGER.
My life was in danger because I was the reason FFXIV was successful. Well, it wasn't all me. But God damn the "established players" were toxic AF.
Us filthy casuals were filling your pockets while you spent it to harass filthy casuals.
They even got an old friend in on it who purposefully set me up for failure. I think she thought we slept together before she had an [REDACTED] despite having rejected me very spectacularly.
My reputation preceded me apparently. I was such a horrible person OF COURSE I RAPE PEOPLE. With all these allegations why haven't I been arrested yet?
The online children, without taking me to court, had signed my death certificate. Because they could see the system wasn't working, and they felt the need to take matters into their own hands.
And why do you think they did?
Ahh... That's the rub isn't it? There's a lot of reasons. There's a lot of people pushing the "Free Money Button" now.
WOW when did I get so famous? I knew people disliked me but WOW.
All press is Good press.
So I started smoking weed, I tried helping my childhood friend who needed a job, painting herself as my victim again...
It's at this point I was tipped off but didn't know what to do. I just wanna chill and make content.

Twitter Ban, unban, shadow ban, "Wow what kind of asshole would BUY TWITTER BLUE?" LOOK AT HOW MANY BALLS THIS PERSON HAS.
Uh oh. That's what gave you publicity when the Blue Mark got activated huh?
I'm getting ahead of myself.
During COVID I started Playing PSO2 instead because I ALWAYS WANTED TO AND GODDAMN THE MEMES WERE SO CRONCHY.
And it's here where I really proved who I am. Because I was in PSO2, encouraging players to socialize, discussing strategy, just not being a dick, we [Crescent Moon] completely took over the first server.
It was ours. We cleared content that JP players couldn't clear on release, and we did it with such regularity, that we put the Sponsored teams to shame. We were so Good, that SEGA INCREASED THE DIFFICULTY.
And it wasn't enough. We demolished their expectations that they had no choice but to release content they weren't otherwise going to release.
We even cleared content no other players had cleared before or after.
Our players knew that if they were gonna clear; they needed to play with CM.... But that same ire started appearing again. People being kicked for petty reasons, insularity. Because nobody could compete with us.
I ensured our Guildies got their runs in the Emergency Raids. I went back to Casual Play, it sucked... Until it didn't.
I never figured it out. Sega Executives tell me it's because I took the time to play with the "Filthy Casuals". I made friends with a lot of people I would have never been able to meet IRL, and I got Trump's Account Banned. Victory.
CM split in two, many players followed the other Group. We were suffering from our own success because we all became such good friends with all the players even those who weren't in our guild.
And that frequent cycling of friend groups for silly reasons hurts one's mental health.
And then NGS came out and I left the Military.
And was subsequently fed to the wolves. As they systematically destroyed my life. Harassed my family who had nothing. Tried to hire a Hitman who was Ironically; Intercepted by Mr. Beast.
Fuck that Guy. He doesn't need anymore hot air in his fat head. I'm sure he's used to comments like those.
I didn't know who he was as I read an entry about him in a business book online.
And then I started playing Single Player Games and PSO2 as my IRL friend harassed me about playing video games while doing all the rest of my shit.
Why does this pattern keep happening? It must be me right?
Her boyfriend and another friend watched me Play Monster Hunter for a bit with them, while she had mouthed me behind my back. Then she blamed me for her break up.
I kept streaming. I linked my socials to my friends in PSO2 and left the server. I left every server. Because something was wrong, But I couldn't figure it out. Was it me? Do I deserve to be alone?
My Wife lost me again when I stopped playing PSO2 and FFXIV to focus on my studies and my stream. And then... A link. Where she could learn everything she ever wanted about me. My old deviantArt account, my old crushes, everything that had been lost to her in the "Big Delete" that seems to happen quite frequently with me. Why is this she wonders.... She might be terrible at FFXIV but this is a bit much?
Except... Maybe she's not bad at all? Were other players just saying that she bought the gear she earned in Party Finder because *nobody* clears in Party Finder.... Except for two players.
Me and Her.
And several other Players who are closer friends than we thought.
That must've been a weird cognitive dissonance to learn that people actually cleared in Party Finder without "Permission from the Elitist TROLLS"
Well, Not the -140iq Elite Trolls. Because WE LIVE FOR THE WALL. (I had to put that phrase in their mouths, but I feel like they approve.)
I have no views. I have no followers. Nobody is in my stream.
Not True! You had 3 watchers at the same time one of those streams!
This hurts me to write this, because I felt that the community was closer than that. But it has to be said to clear the air.
Turns out; My streams were brand new information to EVERYONE WATCHING.
I kept getting videos from Dr. Ramani, the NPD specialist. Trolls were feeding me her videos with messages referencing my streams.
Until the she was contacted by the three-letters and they started changing the content of those force feed videos so that I didn't feel so threatened.
They had that same feeling; I was a horrible person stealing everybody's ad revenue. Because I'm apparently the Anti-Beast.
Some asshole who made bank off crypto and spent it to troll the masses. Fucking really..? Grow the fuck up.
I invited my Brother to live with me. Because whatserface would only ask me to buy her things and attack me for not buying what she wanted.
Thanks for those videos BTW... They helped me SO much when I needed them the most.
My brother was into some of those dark web spaces. He had joined the National Guard and he came out changed after Basic Training.
Like they taught him what he needed to know. Thanks for that.
He seemed remorseful, depressed, and kept asking for rides, so I told him to work at McDonald's and taught him to drive a manual car.
My Manual 2013 Chevy Sonic. WOW FOR SOMEONE WHO IS SO BAD AT APENDING MONEY WHY DOES SHE HAVE SUCH A SENSIBLE CAR? SHE SHOULDVE "WEN LAMBO" WHEN SHE HAD A CHANCE.
I convinced him to tell his dark web connections to start targeting me. Thanks to what happened to Chris-Chan, it was easy. So easy.
So very fucking easy.
All the while, I'm pumping out a really good video EVERY DAY. everysingleday.
I proved to them the Savage Clear time while playing, Nier;A, Became an Icon in Elden Ring despite being uncomfortable playing it.
Convinced my Wife to quit her Job. And help the Idols at the Agencies better their lives AND the rest of the internet by giving them valuable ideas to take control back from the bots.
Then I rehashed the Internets History, explained Bots, Trolls, Ad Farms, how they operate, painted a target on myself.
I wrote the manual on how to fix the internet.
And I reminded people who *we* are.
I commanded an Army of the most Terminally Online nerds you could imagine.
And I gave them money.
And theeennn I saved Blair White from a lawsuit by Legal Eagle... Who was on the Bread Tube blacklist for being a tranny turncoat.
Which pissed of Legal Eagle because It damaged their reputation... And theeen... They tried to lawsuit me.
When VTuber agency VShojo stepped in. And explained to them what happens when you cross my path.
I didn't realize Blair was on my side till recently, after all I did kind of bad mouth her. But I bad mouthed everybody in a way that she was trying to voice but couldn't.
Online associates grabbed my hand knowing I'm good at explaining stuff and pointed me to WSB and SuperStonk saying to me; "Translate Please. Make make sense"
So I started reading DD, and commenting with my massive Reddit Account with A LOT of reputation despite being downvoted into oblivion several times.
Hahahahahahahahah.
I can only laugh...
Thankfully Jon Stewart had taken up his show again and explained very well and I didn't have much to left to do.
Actually some of these events are out of order. Whatever.
So I'm watching YouTube on my TV while Dr. Ramani is criticizing my Twitch stream that has 0-fucking subscribers.
Telling me I'm the narcissist stealing and revenue. On my own stolen videos... Because they were hosted by sponsored ad bot farms... While I'm explaining the exact mechanism she seems to be telling *me* I'm doing.
So I asked her; Have you actually watched my videos?
If I didn't know how hackers operated and how AI works, I'd think I was going crazy. BUT I CANT TELL ANYBODY BECAUSE THEN ID SOUND CRAZY.
AND WE ALL KNOW THAT THE COPS ARE STUPID ENOUGH TO TERRORIZE DOXXED PEOPLE BECAUSE OF HOW MUCH THEY LOVE TO STEAL DRUGS FROM CITIZENS.
And then; the videos changed. But they kept changing over and over. Sometimes they were helpful, sometimes they were negative, sometimes they reminded me of my wife, or people I knew only from online interactions.
Until Blair White and J.K. Rowling convinced Natalie Wynn and Abigail Thorn to ACTUALLY WATCH MY VIDEOS despite their differences.
Of all the people to take my side... How fucking strange.
And then I was Evicted... While following anonymous messages on what to do while homeless. They told me it was ok to steal food and they were footing the bill.
After-all, they were Grooming me for a three-letter-agency job.
One voice tells me to Run for President.
One voice tells me to kill myself.
Obama sent an invite to an online fraternity that looked so much like a scam that I discarded it.
Hideo Kojima offered me a Job.
Another Voice says; We can't accept that right now, seriously announce you're running for president.
The most random ass Brazilian DJ tells me that inviting my brother to stay with me was the worst Idea I could have ever had.
I tell them; If I die, I die. I need family right now. I need somebody.
I'm Evicted. They max out my credit cards, they deplete my Bank Card. I'm stuck paying Soo many bills I don't have enough money to survive.
They took my pets.
They took my meager wardrobe of clothing.
They took all my military paraphernalia and my records that would've told them exactly who I am.
But they're more retarded than you might imagine.
I leave out a Bag of MsG and Centrum; They call it Cocaine and Ecstacy.
They call my Estrogen pills Viagra. They Call my Humira Heroin. Despite obviously being a single shot mechanism.
They're so fucking dumb. So very fucking dumb.
I can say Retarded here, because an Autistic person has enough sense to know better. They were willfully ignorant while I and my friends tied up their empires of dirt.
I ask Jon Stewart to be my Vice President and run for president.
The Secret Service now has permission to protect me, as they would any other Presidential candidate.
Thanks Obamacare!
They run me through several different Spy training regimens. Which I thought was a solo training exercise.
Then I saw Metallica in a Pub. They really *did* challenge a twenty song set list... The two Dave's *really* did challenge me to break their live-show comedian record.
I walk past Mike Shinoda.
What the fuck is going on? Am I going crazy? I don't shower for three months until I can afford a YMCA membership. I got the Y to do the three-s' and use the weightlifting machines for 30-60 minutes a day.
I'm still walking 30 miles a day.
They remind me this is easy; you should be able to do this.
They hint to me about the suspected cancer. They tell me to stay out in the sun as much as possible because it's not like I can go do radiation therapy in this environment.
They send me tutors through Tik Tok.
I end up writing several influential Blog Posts.
The constant barrage of Dr. Ramani to remind me that they are literally "The Narcs", and Her literally recording a single blurb to broadcast directly to me; "Why do *you* think you're the Narcissist here?" Rings frequently in my mind.
They tell me to stay in the City... Assassin's can't get to me without being obvious.
One Assassin gets boggled by three-letters and Mr. Beast. Another Assassin turns on the person who hired them.
LegalEagle is making bank because "Never Mess with Squirrels Girl"
Bread Tube completely takes over YouTube when Shapiro and Jordan Peterson learn how their content was severely misused.
They found out how to boggle the adbots and get the Doxing off me.
I'm still outside. The three-letter agencies will only tell me "Were Grooming You". I can't tell if this is an elaborate prank.
I can't tell if I'm just being harassed by a fraternity that keeps me as a digital pet. That each new year just passed off and forgets about.
I see the fraternity members sleeping outside with me. Snoop Dogg buys an egg biscuit and asks for Grape Jam.
Then he sits across from me and says "Is this real enough for you" and walks away.
WHAT IN THE ACTUAL FUCK IS GOING ON?
A year passes, they let me stay with rural family members for a short period of time. Then Frame my grandparents for having kicked me back out on the street.
It's for their protection they tell me. Besides you're still being groomed. For what?
"Because some idiot thought it was a good idea to run for president!"
"you know I haven't had access to *real world news* in nearly two years right?"
"yes you did.
"WHAT‽
"your girlfriend says "Hi" by the way, we kidnapped her.
"what the fuck do you mean girlfriend?
"you know you're currently yelling at a TikTok video in public right?
"we obfuscated it, because everybody is listening to your phone. We don't want you hurting yourself from the propaganda, the attention, or most of all China.
"isnt China on my side?
"I don't know..maybe. probably not tho, they're China.
It was at this point they explained to me that the couple of CDs I had got [Burn After Reading'd] sent to Putin, Putin called them an asshole and had it delivered back to your car before we towed it.
"oh I thought I lost those...
"you did. To Russia
"...is this why Russias on my side?
"at the very least; they're not antagonistic, but they ARE Russia, and Putin IS still Putin. And you know; that whole Ukraine thing and us funding their enemies.
"Fuck. Why am I here again?
"Because you won the Primaries. I DID WWHAT NOW?
"apparently the trees and the insects all voted for you.
"What does that mean!?
"you won so hard they all think you're an elite hacker who figured out how to hack their election.
"isn't that part of the problem?
"all press is good press
"don't quote me quoting well-known axioms
"you're still arguing with a Tik Tok video.
"why do you sound like [REDACTED] anyway? Uhh because I am and that was really fucking creepy that you could tell through AI generated gibberish.
This happened several more times to many different people
They have a running Talley and make Bets on what kinds of "Psychic Shit" Might pull out of my ass on any particular day.
Whoever had "Write an Autobiography that's at least 50% accurate without being told anything about the situation except certain confirmations sometimes" just made bank.
"hey, You and your Wife... You guys are really similar.
"We're married now?
"She thinks so.
"I don't even believe you would have her, and that she would agree to wrong with you and not freak the fuck out.
"she did freak the fuck out. And you know who we are, and that doesn't convince you?
"I still don't believe I'm not going crazy.
"Look at that TV screen you're walking past.
"You're not going Crazy. I really am here
"WHAT THE FUCK....
Sarah Silverman cuts me off and tells me to take a shower.
"Hey, did you know all your favorite bands are writing songs about you? You should really listen to them.
"I'm not really in the middle for love bombing this year.
"Dr Ramani was too effective.... And Your wife has control over your feed when we don't after you asked her to be in charge of it. She's a very busy person but set aside a lot of time for you you know.
"anyway; there's your wife in front of you.
*ffffffffffffffuckckckckckcckckcmcmehejekwoskfmrb kaldmdnej*
"this is why we can't leave you in the same place, you keep freaking out.
"I doubt that's the whole reason.
I routinely stop talking to them and even tell them to leave me alone. But it's my wife, and they're making her watch me refuse to listen to the things that are definitely crazy person things that never happen.
Several YouTube videos of current events past Trump, or Some random other People that are definitely pictures or videos of me doing illegal looking things.
"See; trust the process...
"What am I supposed to do with this?
"press good press
"STFU. I'm only glad this part of an actual funded program.
"are you sure about that?
"I'm gonna stop talking to you again.
Several streamers cross the road in front of me to remind me that they're pulling for me. Every once in a while they drip feed me my exploits.
I start smoking Cigarettes.
I ask them to help cessate, they spike all the Tobacco with Tear Gas. I keep smoking it.
They are very surprised at my persistence. They remind me that I said they should keep trying.
I tell them it's the only thing keeping me alive.
They consider this and then prompt me to right three reasons they should consider.
I remember the prompting before about arthritis and Cancer research and start studying up on Tobacco and Weed.
My wife "Gifts" me a Weed Vape I have to buy from some clerk in some store.
I write several hundred pages. And even convince my wife that I'm thinking about meeting her first.
She's my wife now. WTF. Is this real? There's no way.
The three-letters monitoring both are actions note that we often say the same things at the same time, have the same responses to certain videos, even have this weird Circular travel pattern where we're always equidistant away on a GPS map.
They get freaked out and start wondering if this is some elaborate trick on them.
Then they start taking Bets on just how similar we act or react without being in contact at all.
[REDACTED] makes a lot of money betting on love while everybody else is continually dumbfounded.
How are these two people the same person?
What does this mean for relationships everywhere?
Is it cruel and unusual punishment to keep them apart?
Are we so jealous that we might just never let them see each other again?
That's really dark man.
Sorry, I can't help it, it's this fucking job dude.
My wife keeps sending me Bible Verses despite knowing my aversion to religious doctrine.
She reminds me my mom is Crazy, and understands why I never learned sign-language despite her deafness.
The threeletters give her my old earbuds with the environmental sound improvements. She exclaims; THESE ARE AO MUCH BETTER THAN THOSE $1500 PIECES OF CRAP.
Now my mom and my wife talk behind my back in sign language... I regret not learning. I trust her.
Her mom likes me at least. We're dark-twitter friends.
I can't tell about her Dad; I've only ever seen him in videos. He seems cool. I hope he likes me. I admire him alot.
Several personalities started getting on the AI-Tube to ask me exactly how I did what I did to take over the world.
I don't understand them and write a paper on physics with the information they gave me that they thought was fed back to them through the AI algorithm until they were told "No she thinks it was literal."
"Does she even understand what's going on.
"Mostly, she doesn't like responding through this program. She's very cranky all the time and not very fun.
"I'm not sure I blame *her*
"It kinda makes the job really boring when you're just reading a script over and over tho.
"uhhh... Let me take over? I wanna see if she can write another paper on different topics
"yeah whatever.
*proceeds to write several Tumblr posts on the information provided.*
"that doesn't mean she understands...
"Melin, do you understand?
"STFU.
"Oh.
"ye. That what she do.
"She really is mad...
Anyway.... Now I'm President and probably a shoe in for Hegemon. And I hate it. Let me out.

Creating a Truly Inclusive Workplace in 2025
In 2025, building a truly inclusive workplace is not just a goal but a necessity for companies that want to thrive in the ever-evolving business environment. As organizations adapt to changing employee expectations and global shifts, inclusivity is becoming a core value that drives innovation, engagement, and success. Recent HR trends for 2025 show a strong focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), reflecting the growing awareness of creating an environment where everyone feels valued and empowered.
In this blog, we’ll explore recent HR trends in 2025 that are transforming how companies approach inclusivity, the strategies they are implementing to foster diverse and inclusive environments, and how HR software is playing a crucial role in this process.
1. Shifting DEI from Policy to Practice
In 2024, we saw a heightened focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) as a fundamental aspect of workplace culture. Many companies introduced DEI policies and hired diversity officers to ensure their organizations were reflecting societal values. However, in 2025, the emphasis is on shifting DEI from policy to practice. It’s no longer enough to have policies in place—organizations must ensure that these principles are fully integrated into everyday business operations.
Creating a truly inclusive workplace means going beyond compliance. Organizations are focusing on inclusivity in recruitment, onboarding, career development, and leadership representation. Companies are taking a data-driven approach, using HR software to track key metrics such as the representation of underrepresented groups, pay equity, and promotion rates. By turning these insights into action, businesses can ensure that inclusivity is not just a buzzword but a lived experience for all employees.
2. The Role of HR Software in Advancing Inclusivity
HR software is playing a critical role in advancing inclusivity in the workplace. Recent HR trends for 2025 highlight the increasing use of technology to create equitable systems that eliminate bias in various HR processes.
For example, AI-powered HR software can help companies create more inclusive recruitment processes by reducing human bias in candidate selection. These platforms can anonymize resumes, ensuring that hiring decisions are based solely on skills and qualifications rather than unconscious biases related to gender, race, or ethnicity. Additionally, HR software can automatically screen candidates for diversity goals, helping companies create balanced teams from the outset.
Performance management is another area where HR software is making a difference. With continuous performance tracking tools, businesses can evaluate employees based on real-time data, helping to eliminate biases that can occur in annual reviews. Moreover, feedback loops and employee sentiment analysis help HR teams identify issues related to inclusivity and address them proactively.
3. Recent HR Trends in 2025
As the workplace continues to evolve, hybrid work models have become a permanent fixture in the landscape of work, following trends seen in 2024. However, inclusivity within hybrid and remote work environments presents unique challenges. In 2025, HR leaders are focused on ensuring that all employees—whether they work remotely, in-office, or a combination of both—feel equally included in company culture and have access to the same opportunities for growth and development.
One way organizations are achieving this is through the strategic use of HR software designed for hybrid work management. These platforms facilitate seamless collaboration and communication between remote and in-office teams, ensuring that all employees stay connected and engaged. By providing virtual spaces for team collaboration and feedback, HR software ensures that employees who may not be physically present in the office are not overlooked when it comes to promotions, professional development, or participation in key projects.
Another major trend is the use of virtual DEI initiatives, such as online inclusion training programs and virtual mentorships, to ensure all employees, regardless of location, can actively participate in diversity and inclusion efforts.
4. Personalization and Belonging: Key Elements of Inclusivity
One of the HR trends in 2024 that is continuing into 2025 is the focus on personalized employee experiences. A truly inclusive workplace must cater to the individual needs of its employees, recognizing that everyone has different preferences, challenges, and goals. Companies are increasingly offering personalized benefits packages, flexible work schedules, and tailored development programs to ensure that all employees feel supported and valued.
HR software plays a vital role in personalizing the employee experience. These platforms can collect data on employee preferences, work habits, and career goals, allowing companies to offer personalized recommendations for development opportunities, wellness programs, and work-life balance initiatives. Additionally, AI-driven learning management systems can create individualized learning paths for employees, ensuring that everyone has access to the resources they need to grow and succeed.
Creating a sense of belonging is also key to an inclusive workplace. Employees need to feel that they are part of a community where their contributions are recognized and valued. In 2025, companies are using employee engagement tools within HR software to foster community-building and ensure that employees feel connected to their teams, regardless of their location.
5. Addressing Bias and Ensuring Equity
One of the most challenging aspects of creating an inclusive workplace is addressing unconscious bias and ensuring equity across all HR processes. In 2025, organizations are using HR software to tackle these issues head-on. AI and automation are particularly useful in eliminating bias from critical HR functions, such as recruitment, promotions, and performance evaluations.
For example, AI-driven recruitment tools can help ensure that job descriptions are gender-neutral and inclusive, attracting a diverse pool of candidates. These tools can also analyze data from previous hiring processes to identify patterns of bias and recommend corrective actions. Similarly, pay equity analysis tools within HR software help organizations track compensation trends and ensure that employees are being paid fairly, regardless of their background or demographics.
6. Mental Health and Well-Being as Part of Inclusivity
Recent HR trends in 2025 emphasize the growing importance of mental health and well-being as part of creating an inclusive workplace. Inclusivity goes beyond ensuring diversity in hiring—it also involves creating a supportive environment where all employees feel comfortable bringing their whole selves to work. Companies are expanding their well-being programs to include mental health support, flexible working hours, and access to counseling services.
HR software helps organizations manage these programs by offering wellness tracking tools, mental health resources, and feedback mechanisms to monitor employee well-being. By collecting data on employee stress levels, work-life balance, and overall satisfaction, HR teams can make informed decisions on how to improve their well-being initiatives and create a more inclusive environment for all.
Conclusion
Creating a truly inclusive workplace in 2025 is about more than just hiring a diverse workforce—it’s about ensuring that everyone, regardless of background, feels valued, supported, and empowered to succeed. As the recent HR trends in 2025 highlight, inclusivity is now deeply integrated into the core of business strategy, and HR software is playing a pivotal role in making this transformation possible.
By leveraging HR software to track diversity metrics, eliminate bias, personalize employee experiences, and support well-being, companies can create environments where every employee feels like they belong. In this evolving landscape, organizations that prioritize inclusivity will not only attract top talent but also foster innovation and drive long-term success.

The recent amendments to the rules for obtaining a driver's license in Bulgaria have sparked mixed reactions among the public. According to new regulations published on September 10 in the State Gazette, which will take effect on December 10, 2024, prospective drivers will be allowed a maximum of four attempts at both the theoretical and practical tests.
Seven organizations involved in driver training have expressed strong opposition to the proposed changes, particularly concerning the introduction of electronic driving hour cards and limits on practical test attempts. Trendafil Marinov, the chairman of the Bulgarian Driving Instructor Union, confirmed plans for a protest scheduled for tomorrow, September 25.
Marinov voiced concerns during an interview with BNR, arguing that the new regulations do not align with existing educational standards. He criticized the push towards digitalization, labeling it "complete ambiguity" and questioning how the proposed changes would improve road safety.
He highlighted the additional financial burdens the new requirements would impose on driving schools, noting that each training vehicle would need to be equipped with specific devices that maintain a permanent Internet connection, necessitating contracts with mobile service providers.
Currently, the Automotive Administration employs inspectors who can effectively verify the validity of paper driving cards on the road, according to Marinov. He pointed out that these cards include essential identification information and photographs.
Additionally, Marinov raised issues regarding the limited number of examiners available to provide practical driving tests, leading to potentially long waiting periods. He questioned the rationale behind limiting attempts to four and the six-month timeframe for testing, calling for a collaborative working group with industry representatives to address these concerns.
Concerns about potential corruption have also emerged, with Marinov asking why a single company should develop the required software instead of promoting competition through multiple software solutions.
The protest is set to take place in front of the presidency, with activities planned from 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Krasimir Georgiev, manager of the Association for the Qualification of Motorists in Bulgaria, offered a contrasting perspective during a discussion on the national radio. He argued that the new regulations will effectively eliminate corrupt practices, which he claims opponents are afraid of.
Georgiev emphasized that the exam should serve as a test to assess knowledge gained during training, rather than as part of the training itself. He suggested that driving schools fearing the new requirement of four exams within six months indicate they are not adequately preparing their students.
He noted that after years of stagnation, reform is finally underway. "If the existing requirements were followed, there wouldn’t be so many driving schools. Many only had a classroom to obtain permits, while their actual operation occurred in their cars, which often served as family vehicles."
He further explained the prevalent practice of maintaining two sets of training cards: one for the instructor and student, and another that reflects the full 30 hours of required instruction, often fabricated to satisfy inspections by the traffic police.
Georgiev dismissed concerns regarding the financial burdens that driving schools would face, arguing that they often do not invest or reinvest profits, and are unfamiliar with tax concepts such as "Profit" or "Dividends."
He also mentioned that some civil servants work as driving instructors, asserting that there are sufficient examiners available.
Georgiev announced plans for a procession to support the reforms, scheduled from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Alexander Battenberg Square. He noted that over 12 NGOs focused on road safety are backing the rally, which will culminate in a declaration supporting the reforms to the Ministry of Transport leadership.

Almost 18 million people have Long COVID. Here’s how to make your work more inclusive - Published Sept 23, 2024
BY Ludmila Praslova
Supporting inclusion for workers with Long COVID requires rethinking many long-standing practices. But it can—and must—be done.
We often talk about the impact of COVID-19 on workplaces during the height of the pandemic as if that impact is over. But it is far from over. In the U.S. alone, nearly 18 million people are grappling with Long COVID, and 65% of them are working, even if some had to make adjustments to hours and tasks.
The impact on individual lives, the workforce, and the economy is tremendous, and we have to keep learning to deal with it. Just as many organizations learned during quarantine that much more flexibility in the workplace is possible than previously thought, many will learn that much kinder and more inclusive cultures are possible. And organizations will also learn that flexibility and inclusion are not just possible, but profitable.
Long COVID is a Full-Person Condition Long COVID can impact the whole person, with symptoms ranging from mobility problems (due to muscle weakness, dizziness, and shortness of breath) to depression, anxiety, and difficulty focusing. It is associated with grief and reevaluation of life’s values and priorities.
While fatigue, cardiac, and respiratory issues often come to mind when thinking of Long COVID, its neurological and psychological effects are just as profound. This makes Long COVID both a chronic illness and a form of acquired neurodivergence—a significant difference in neurobiological functioning. Thus, models developed for neuroinclusion at work are just as relevant as an understanding of physical disability.
Supporting workers with Long COVID requires rethinking many long-standing practices—critically, the way organizations view disability inclusion, and the way organizations view employees, period. It requires understanding and including people much more holistically.
Inclusion > Accessibility > Accommodations In many workplaces, disability inclusion is equated with accessibility and accommodations. However, neither specific accommodations (e.g., providing an employee with limited dexterity speech-to-text software) nor accessibility (e.g., ensuring that buildings have ramps to support wheelchair users, but also many others) guarantee inclusion. Coworkers may still make rude comments about those who need accommodation, and managers may still assign them tasks well below their qualifications and exclude them from promotion considerations. Inclusion requires that there is no discrimination or unfair barriers. Inclusive systems support all.
Many specific accommodations for employees with Long COVID are listed in this article I coauthored with Katie Bach and Beth Pollack. But to go beyond accommodations, organizations must build systems for holistic inclusion that support a whole person, body and mind, as outlined in my book, The Canary Code: A Guide to Neurodiversity, Dignity, and Intersectional Belonging at Work. This holistic inclusion acknowledges the complexity of Long COVID and honors the complexity of human beings.
Social Inclusion: Opt-In, Opt-Out, no-Judgement Culture Most of us have suffered through “mandatory fun” events in the workplace. The happy hour where some smile through exhaustion while others worry about their kids. The team-building retreat that leaves introverts socially drained and people with back problems in pain. For people with Long COVID, these aren’t just annoyances. They’re barriers to employment. The extra energy simply is not available.
True social inclusion is an opt-in, opt-out culture for social events. Want to engage? Great, we will make sure that events are accessible. Need to conserve your energy? No judgment. Virtual options? Sure. Sometimes inclusion is less about participation and more about permission to not participate. When we empower workers to choose how they engage, without judgment or “consequences,” we build true social inclusion that benefits everyone.
Cognitive Inclusion: Less Hustle, More Flow Long COVID often causes cognitive difficulties—brain fog, memory glitches, and a struggle to multitask which, like many Long COVID symptoms, can come and go, and be exacerbated by stress. Of course, Long COVID is much more than “just stress.” And yet, some degree of cognitive struggle, even if less extreme, can also stem from the work culture overly fixated on the hustle, along with a rigid, “one-size-fits-all” model of working.
This means organizations have an opportunity to improve the cognitive environment by focusing on better work organization. Here are two crucial ways to do this:
Less Hustle, More Flow: Fixing the hustle-and-juggle pressure and overload will help everyone, including those with Long COVID, other conditions, or stressful life situations. It is also likely to help productivity. Studies show that multitasking does not work, so why not get rid of it? Evidence-based work organization calls for focused rather than fragmented time—single-tasking helps people experience flow and have more done. True productivity calls for less frenzy and stress. Flexible Work Patterns: We all have different patterns of best performance. Some work best in short, Pomodoro-type segments with frequent short breaks. Others need longer stretches of focused work time with longer breaks. Slicing everyone’s time in one-hour segments does not serve anyone’s productivity. Cognitive inclusion in work organization calls for limiting meetings to specific days and times to reserve significant periods of time for employees to work with their best productivity rhythms. While beneficial for all, this can be crucial for those with Long COVID who may need extra flexibility to work with limited and fluctuating energy. Cognitive inclusion supports productivity, but to take full advantage of it, an organization may need to refocus performance evaluation more on the outcomes of work, rather than focusing on hours spent working or “being seen.” That’s one of the key principles of neuroinclusion.
Emotional Inclusion: Human First Depression, anxiety, and grief often accompany Long COVID, and sadly, many employers have traditionally dealt with emotion by telling employees to “leave it at home.” Many organizational cultures have narrow, prescriptive norms of “professional = not emotional” while others expect the emotional labor of “faking happy.”
That lack of emotional inclusion—cultural support for emotional authenticity—can make even healthy employees sick, and it’s an energy drain that those with Long COVID and many other disabled, chronically ill, and neurodivergent people can’t afford.
Normalizing a broader range of authentic emotional expression, from happiness to sadness, supports individuals and groups in truly dealing with difficult situations and building collective resilience through inclusive practice. An environment where saying, “I’m not okay today” is met with empathy, not eye rolls, relieves the pressure and allows people to process emotion in a healthy way, while suppression can make negative emotions intensify.
Emotional inclusion is not about cheesy wellness posters or even “employee assistance programs.” It is about a culture of normalizing well-being check-ins, mental health days without guilt, emotional inclusion training for all managers, and shifting a perspective on employees from “workers” to “humans who work.” And humans have feelings.
Physical/Sensory Inclusion: Redefining the Workspace Long COVID throws physical and sensory curveballs that aren’t immediately obvious to observers, but significant. Sensory sensitivities leading to an overload in reaction to bright lights or loud noises can derail an employee’s entire day. While mobility issues may not be apparent, dizziness, pain, and crushing fatigue can make the trip to the printer feel like a marathon, and navigating two steps with no railing life-threatening.
We need to design workplaces for an expanded definition of accessibility. A ramp in the back of the building is not cutting it. Organizations should involve disabled and neurodivergent employees in an accessibility audit and make sure to heed their input. Easy-open doors, easy-access elevators, adjustable lighting, sound control, and ergonomic workspaces aren’t luxuries; they’re essentials. Disability is not rare or limited to specific populations. Someone sneezing on a plane, a bug bite, or a sports accident can make anyone need accessibility at any time.
And, yes, remote work is an important part of making work accessible. For many employees managing physical symptoms of Long COVID, the option to work fully or mostly from home can be the difference between having a productive career or not being able to work at all. It also goes a long way in preventing the risk of reinfection—a survival essential for many with Long COVID, and a great benefit to all.
Supporting employees with Long COVID with remote work and other forms of flexibility helps create a more positive work environment overall, as illustrated by a French sports retailer, Decathlon France. Decathlon France also expanded its efforts to support holistic inclusion by helping educate employees and the society at large about the physical and psychological effects of Long COVID and to promote inclusion in all areas of life.
This approach had direct positive effects on employees. As Mylène Rahel Damamme, Decathlon’s ESG & Sustainability Reporting Director, shared: “The flexibility of teleworking/remote work, combined with the possibility of working from home on days when my symptoms are more severe, has enabled me to reconcile my health with my professional responsibilities. This approach, supported by my company’s diversity and inclusion policy, enables me to continue and not give up my professional plans and desires!”
Long COVID has altered many human lives. Organizations may ignore this reality, or they may create environments that are more inclusive of Long COVID and other chronic illnesses, while being more inclusive and kinder to all.
